This shop is awesome! It’s rare to find a pet boutique that has a such a huge selection of cat items. The amount of merchandise to choose from for cat lovers was great and unexpected. Of course the shop has a variety of dog supplies as well but it was nice to have more than a small section of cat merch to choose from as you would normally find in other shops.One thing that stood out and would make me highly recommend this shop is their customer service. They were great in the store, very welcoming and friendly but it’s what what happened after that left a lasting impression.After spending far more than planned, we realized after we got home (we are in northern VA and about 2 hours away) that my daughter left a bag of our purchases in the store.When I called to ask about it, Carrie was so helpful and offered to mail the items out to us as driving back to pick them up wasn’t going to be possible. I offered to pay for the shipping and Carrie declined my offer for payment and sent our items to us very quickly. This was very much appreciated and is a testament to how well they take care of their customers. Thank you so much! We will definitely return next time we are in the area!

I wish I could give Carrie, and her beautiful store, 100 stars. Carrie was involved in finding our lost dog. After putting up hundreds of flyers, we got a call from Carrie who put together a person who was buying a leash for a dog they found, with us, the desperately searching, heartbroken dog owners. Although a reward was offered, Carrie refused it.While we were in her store, we noticed how welcoming and well-stocked it was, and what great items she carries. It is a great place to find holiday presents for your furbabies. Thanks' to Carrie, we get to buy presents for our Teddy, too.

I absolutely loved working here last summer. Carrie was a great boss who made sure not only her customers were happy, but also her employees! She was very willing to work with my schedule and honestly it was one of the best jobs I've ever had. Everything was pet friendly so playing with dogs everyday was a great bonus!! I would suggest this job to anyone and I would suggest for everyone to take a look at all the cute things Pawprints carries. I still buy things for my dog from there, you just cannot beat the selection of bowties and cute dog accessories!!

Came in with my dog one Friday night in need of something to help her calm down, and they had several products available. There is a little bit of everything in this store including some gifts and souvenir type things for humans so it is worth checking out if you're an animal lover walking around the downtown area. Staff was kind and gave my dog lots of treats!

This place is so sweet and thoughtfully designed for pet owners and their furry friends. They have an excellent selection of toys and treats and whenever we're in the area, we must visit to buy something for our pup!

If you want to spoil or reward your furry loved ones there is quite the assortment of fun toys and treats for them at Pawprints. And there is a fine offering of items, humorous and heartfelt, that will let the world know how much you love your companion. It is a lovely store and the hospitality is so genuine. But the main reason I know that Pawprints is a great place? My dogs lead me to it every time I walk them on the Downtown Mall!

We loved stopping into this boutique with our dog. Their selection of bow ties, sweaters, and toys was phenomenal! We even got him a costume for Halloween so now we are all prepared for the holiday. Plus lots of fun socks for pet owners. Would absolutely recommend!

Living downtown there is no more convenient and amazing place for treats, gifts and hospitality. The owner has lots of deals and rewards programs she is always sure you get the best deal possible. She is gentle and kind and has an eclectic mix of everything from pet food to gifts you can’t find anywhere else. Unlike most boutique pet shops in town this one is NOT pretentious or judgemental she just loves animals and wants you to find cool new ways to show and express your pet passion!

Was browsing the Downtown Mall today to find a gift for a friend and her puppy, and found this adorable pet boutique! They had some delicious looking doggy donuts, other snacks, and accessories. They have items for all pet lovers, cats, and dogs!

Cville paw print is Charlottesville best kept secret. Not only is it one of the cutest shop I’ve ever seen.Carrie the owner is fabulous. She’s done a great job bringing this speciality store to the forefront . As a part of the downtown community Carrie store is a compliment to the historic mall.

Very cute pet store in the downtown mall in Charlottesville. The owner is a very nice woman and her dog serves as a greeter to the store. They have fun knick knacks as well as quality treats! We will definitely be back again and again!

Smyrna was the most welcoming face a store could have! My vonne got along with Smyrna just fine while I got to check out this awesome store! Lots of cool stuff for pets and their owners! I think me and vonne both got to check off our present shopping while here!

Clean place. Of course pet friendly. However I must say that of the two time's that I have been there; while staff was cordial I felt like I was looked at suspiciously. I purchased a shirt for my (fur) baby and wasn't sure if it would fit. I asked about their return policy and did not receive a warm response. I'm not sure what that was about. This is just my personal experience.

Cute things for dogs and cats..food, toys, clothing, car magnets by breed, etc. I bought a "cat catcher"wand toy with the perfect mouse dangling on the end, made in the US that both my rescued cats are now obsessed with! This locally-owned shop is between Zocalo & The Paramount where Cha-chas used to be.

Stopped here while visiting Charlottesville and it was worth it! Got some nice treats for my pup and a cute magnet for the back of my car. I even got my mother-in-law the cutest tea towel! Something for everyone here!
