We shopped at Harris Teeter while we were in town visiting friends. This was a very clean and put together store and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and had no problem making small talk while we were checking out. Harris Teeter carried everything we needed for the elaborate meals we had planned over the weekend.

I've always had a great experience at the Crozet Harris Teeter. This morning I felt especially grateful for Tanya ( apologies if it's Tonya) who works in floral. From the helpful and professional phone chat, to helping me load my car she was knowledgeable, friendly a just exceptional. I will always check this HT first and spread the word of my wonderful experience and beautiful plants. Thank you.-

It’s okay. The produce is hit or miss on quality and availability. Shelves have pockets of bare spots on a regular basis. It’s one of two options in Crozet, but for better selection and pricing, Charlottesville has more options.

They recently added a sign that the deli isn’t open until 9am. Despite this my wife has seen someone working there in the 8am hour and has twice asked if they will cut something. She’s been told no both times. Meanwhile she’s been able to get someone in the barracks road HT deli to slice meat in the 8am hour. The lady there said the customer always comes first. So, some poor management going on over at this HT in crozet.

The pharmacy is horrible they don’t know what they are doing. When you come to pick up medicine they tell you that you don’t have medication to pick up and you don’t have Insurance. Then they just tell you anything to get you out the store with no medication. I have be a customer of this store since it open in 2009 and never experienced nothing like it. To have the pharmacist to tell you that you don’t need you business was the last time that I will shop in the store or buy anything out the store. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Staff are so great. No data or actual WIFI connection in store, so you cannot look up your recipes or new wine while in store. Beer selection is overwhelmingly I/PAs.I’ll only stop here when absolutely have to.

Not our main go to store! They are expensive for our budget! We go here but less often. Clean inside/out. Some are friendly. Nice area. Like the gas points for BP! We would recommend this store. They are a smaller store. Can't find our favorite bread 647 bread, they don't season their shrimp like the HT in another part of VA (they used old bay seasoning). They don't have resh pizza like the other HT do. You could get hot pizza by the slice or buy a big one. Miss that.

We're big fans of Teeter. Sadly, since this is the closest grocery store to our house, I can't say the same of this location. Smart hiring practices and good employees make or break the entire customer experience. Seems like this store needs a management reboot.

I enjoy their selection and the staff is nice but I usually shop very early in the morning and they don't have checkout lanes staffed yet so I'm forced into self checkout. In theory this is fine but those stupid machines hate me and never work for me (plus buying booze at 6am and having to find someone to approve it through the checkout earns me some looks)

My favorite grocery store, maybe because I live close by and know my way around inside. Pleasant and helpful staff.PHARMACY - I get most of my prescriptions here and love the pharmacy. The line is always short and fast. Questions always answered. I have gotten numerous vaccinations there which really adds to the convenience. This place makes all the other pharmacies seem like factories with long lines of grumpy people.

The cashier Jadon is very attentive and helpful. My grocery shopping experience was excellent because of the people that works here, the administration also help me in a diligent manner to get my VIC card.

This is a horrible spot, as I've been been standing here for 15 mins and nobody is working the flowers department! Alot of employees but busy doing something else! I would never spend my money in such a place! Thumbs down on this oner

It’s ridiculous that I just overheard Caleb, manager of the Fresh Foods Department, tell an employee “there’s bigger things to worry about “ as she was removing the expired product from the shelves. The young woman was black and had an afro, but I was not able to see her name as she walked away soon after. This is about the 4th negative review I’ve left about Crozet Harris Teeter. This is ridiculous.

Always stop here on the way to Blacksburg for a sub. Chastity made our sandwiches today. Such an absolute delight! She was professional, yet kind, considerate, and paid attention to detail. If you hit up Harris Teeter in Crozet, ask for her!

I have to say this place is amazing the management is first-class Jeff as the manager does nothing more than meet everyone's expectations and beyond he is the best. Carly at the front always manages the cash registers and everyone is in and out of there in a timely fashion I don't know how she does it she's the best ever. Also Robert is the assistant manager I can't tell you how good he is it doing everything and of course there's always David at the stocking duties go to him and the shells always look amazing

Produce Department is VERY niceI was there today and the apples and other produce was very fresh and reasonably priced. A store employee asked me if I needed help and offered wine recommendations. A great experience. It would have received five stars if there had been more lines open to check out through at lunchtime. Other than that a great day!

Store used to be neat and clean. I shop there frequently. The customer service is still good. Lately the people in the deli are nasty. They are wearing gloves and mask but they are cleaning and sweeping messing with trash can with same gloves they use to make subs and cut meat. Not sure why people were not noticing this. Please change gloves often. It's gross!!

I am camping and kayaking in Crozet. I realized after coming off the lake that I had misplaced my wallet and couldn’t find it. I was excited to see a Harris Teeter, thinking that I would just use Apple Pay like every other civilized business in 2022.I wasn’t all that upset to find out that Harris Teeter doesn’t take Apple Pay, it was how staff handled the question. When I approached the cashier I asked if they accepted Apple Pay she made a face and annoyingly (and loudly said they didn’t). I returned the items and as I was leaving I heard the employee tell another employee and customer about my question, followed by some other rude remarks about me, including comments about my ability to pay for things. I’m not sure that she’s aware that Apple Pay isn’t a credit card and that I’m not “too good” to pay with cash like others.

Nice store, generally. My review is limited to the sushi made on-site. Tried a couple of made-to-order sushi items on Sept 27. Could not have been worse. The salmon, the brown rice, etc -- all tasted skunky. The roll that I ordered was almost all rice, with very little salmon, avocado, etc.Will not order sushi there again. Will stick to Whole Foods for "supermarket sushi".

The sub shop seems to be completely hit or miss lately: usually in person the subs are great, but lately when ordering online, there is a lack of quality control that I can only equate to the customer not viewing the sandwich being made. On several occasions I have gotten home with no cheese when requested, literally two scant layers of meat of veggies lacking. HT subs used to be a value at 6.99, but if ordering online, I would wait till a sale or just head to Great Value or spring for Sals...Wrong again. Not quite sure how hard it is to read my order, but don’t bother unless staring directly at the person making your sub. Plenary of great people that work there, but would not risk ordering ahead unless you want stuff just missing or wrong.

Shopping was delightful. However, the cashiers (check-out folks) were nonchalant and slow. Only two lines were open as 10-12 customers waited. As it came our turn to check out, they did open two more registers.....but the long lines were already formed. This is not the service we are accustomed to at Harris Teeter.

You'd think it would kill them to open a check out line once in a while...esp. during peak hours. Update: I must be begging for punishment. Today the check out person rang up bananas as egg plant. I don't mean they miss typed a number either. Worse, neither the cashier nor the service desk person knew how to void it, so they had to manufacturer a coupon the exact total of the "egg plants" to get it off the receipt. I counted to 10 and started to walk out.You'd think I'd learn to stop going into that horrible store. Today there was only 2 registers open and people backed up through the aisles. It took me over 20 minutes to get checked out. Unacceptable for a store that has such high prices.

It turns out that I do like shopping at Harris Teeter. It really is a better grocery shopping experience than other local options. Too bad it isn't close to my house. I have to drive by about a dozen other grocery stores to get to this one. That's a bit crazy. The other Teeters in town are also equally nice and equally not that handy to get to.
