This Harris Teeter location is the fastest growing location in Charlottesville. By growing I mean trending upwards in terms of quality, selection, and friendly staff. The selection of foods and ingredients from around the world is getting larger but the costs are not spiraling out of control and there are always deals to be had if you're a member of the Vic card savings club. The deli is absolutely phenomenal and stocks Boar's Head brand. Definitely visit them!

I've been super pleased by the pharmacy and its staff at this Harris Teeter. I've had none of the problems I encountered at CVS for years. Staff here have always been accommodating and treated me with respect and courtesy. The service is reliable and they answer the phone.

It's just amazing, there's so much to do. Best part is free, so if you're on a budget and need something to do for your kiddos this is the place to be. I just wished there would be all day parking someplace, because two hours aren't enough time to see everything. In fact I was snapping photo after photo with the descriptions so I could look at them later and read what what was. We really life on an incredible planet. You'll see, hear and even feel things while your there that are beyond humans imagination, most importantly it's a strong reminder how fragile our planet and it's lifeform are, and how much humans are responsible for the destruction of our eco system. I'm going to return but with more time and better planned on my part.

Great and very helpful staff. Very organized, and easy-to-locate items. Has a variety of goods and depending on what you need, it will be here. Very pleasant grocery store. Highly reccomend.

Wanted Surprise the girlfriend with flowers running late like usual. Spent $76 on roses 🌹 and they probably were best i ever bought they they stayed alive for 2 weeks and Just gorgeous worth ever penny the girls up there did great job thanks

The staff was accessible end courteous. The pharmacist helped us immediately without promoting; we were fortunate to get children's ibuprofen during the nationwide shortage. The attendant at the self-checkout was prompt in responding to a question about pricing. The produce was fresh. The store is spacious and clean.

Clean, organized and well situated store. Typically well stocked and good selection. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Prices are about average to higher than average but not outrageous.Always a pretty good experience and enjoyable visit.

We loved our old neighborhood Harris Teeter and were relieved to find one nearby. This location is well stocked, very modern, clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful.The parking lot was pretty easy and convenient to get in and out to all the main roads. We’ll definitely be shopping here again.

An excellent option for groceries in the area, Harris Teeter is naturally a bit expensive, but it does in a pinch for folks in the area that are looking for options not offered at Food Lion or Target. It's always clean and well staffed as well, and I've never had an issue with the quality of the produce.

I don’t normally bother reviewing online but the Harris Teeter Hollymeade pharmacy is the best pharmacy I’ve ever used. The staff are amazingly helpful and make everything easy. They go out of their way to get your prescriptions filled quickly and at the best price. They always help sort out any confusion with the prescription. Really great staff.

Prices for grocery items are a little high but they have the best fresh meat, produce, seafood, and deli around. And the floral department is amazing. I like that there's a "no receipt" option at the self-checkout.

Wow! I had never been to a Harris Teeter s before and I was amazed by their selection of sauces and food items. They also had birthday stuff (which I needed!). Overall, a really good experience. Clean store and nice, helpful employees. Joelle helped me at checkout and she was a really sweet person! Very patient since I had a lot of shopping items. I will definitely be back!

I am not a fan of the expirence of grocery shopping, so any grocery store which can acctualy create an inviting atmosphere is doing right. Harris Teeter is one of those stores.

Are you kidding me? This store is great. I was shopping with my 2 year old grandbaby, who was getting a little antsy, when Bill. (A friendly employee) brought over and offered my grandbaby a banana. Very kind of him! Which appeased him, and gave me a little more time to shop.Thanks

I arrived in town forgetting that I had washed all my masks and didn't put one back in my car. I called this Harris Teeter and got amazing customer service, the employee got a mask and brought it to the door to meet me and had someone ring me up right inside the door so I didn't walk far without a mask. I will undoubtedly never forget a mask again because I felt horrible! I wish I knew the sweet customer service ladies name so I could thank her! Awesome customer service!!!!

Consistently the best service, selection and cleanliness of Charlottesville full supermarkets. Far better price and selection than Whole Foods. Fresh Market is a wonderful atmosphere but a boutique market with limited products. Easily better than any Giant or Kroger we have experienced. We are very glad to have this store nearby.

I searched all over different stores for tumeric root and finally found it here! They have lots of wonderful breads to choose from too,I got several and my favorite cheese, havarti with dill, that is hard to find in other stores as well. Thanks Harris Teeter! You came thru again!

Like the store and employees. I always buy my steaks and most of my meat there. It's always delicious and good quality. Good sale prices but general stuff is much higher than most of the other grocery stores

Always shop here. Yes you can probably buy a lot of the stuff a little cheaper elsewhere; but the customer service level, and cleanliness of the place makes up for it. It is nice to go into a store to buy something and not have to be bothered with some of the rift raft that populates other stores. Plus, when they do have a promotion no other store can beat it.

I really do like Harris Teeter, I like their selections of food, and I like the way the store is laid out. The only thing I don't care for is their prices. I find Harris Teeter to be very expensive which is partially why I only gave four stars.This particular Harris Teeter also has a horrendous parking lot. It has very tight parking spaces and not enough of them because they share their parking lot with lots of other stores in this strip mall. I do drive a large truck so I always have to park very far from the store. I don't mind walking, but it's a hassle when you're loaded up with groceries and especially when there's bad weather.This Harris Teeter is clean, well lit and very tidy. I like the way the store is organized. It's easy to find what you need and has plenty of room in the aisles. Some grocery stores have aisles so small that you can't get two buggies past each other. This is not the case at Harris Teeter. The employees that I have dealt with are very nice and seem happy doing their jobs.They have really good sushi made fresh on the premises. They have a pretty good bakery as well. They also have a great selection of produce. I like their fish and I really like their meats. I always keep my eyes out for when they have a sale on whole filet mignon. When that goes on sale I buy one and have the butcher slice it into steaks and have them grind the trimmings for the best hamburgers you've ever had! Then I vacuum seal the steaks and freeze them into portions for my family. Even though I've complained that they are an expensive store, if you pay attention to their sale fliers you can find good deals. However, I maintain that for everyday shopping needs, Harris Teeter is one of the more expensive grocery stores. If prices don't matter to you, this is a great grocery store. But if you're budget conscious this isn't the place for you to shop.

This grocery store has never had an empty shelf since I have been shopping there. Great selections on everything....they make the BEST subs! Stop in and be surprised!
