Huge variety of Muslim based products from around the world. They even had stuff from my wife's culture, which is amazing considering it's really hard to find them in any store.Cherry on top is that this place is Muslim owned!

The gentlemen that work here are wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. They usually always have tea or coffee to sip on while browsing the shelves, which are packed with wonderful ingredients and items I am unable to get anywhere else in Charlottesville. The prices are good too. Bulk olives to marinate at home, dried bulk snacks, a large selection of oils, vinegars, and syrups in a variety of flavors and origins. I love this store.

Cool little shop for unique and specialty items. I went in here mostly for their selection of teas that are available, but was surprised at the amount of items available. It had a lot of middle eastern spices and foods that aren't available other places. Would definitely recommend looking and experiencing just because.

This is a great market for International food. So many spices, olives, and a selection of really tasting olive oil from Mediterranean area. Prices are good. The service is also good. Great customer service. No problem with the parking. Pleanty of parking in front of the market.

I love this market! They have items I cannot get anywhere else in town, like pomegranate molasses, Syrian bread, Aivar and a wide variety of spices and herbs, all at great prices. This is a family owned small business, run by gracious, friendly people.

Probably this is the only store in Charlottesville where you can buy halal meat. I bought chicken and beef once from this store. I was not happy with the quality, therefore, stopped purchasing. They have frozen samosa, kababa etc which are halal. You would also find a wide variety of spices in this store. Before purchasing, remember to check the expiration date of the products. Once I went there to buy some spices and found all of those were expired.

I didn't explore very much, I was there for something very specific, which the super friendly staff helped me find very quickly! The cashier was kind, helpful, and gave me a little background on the traditional uses of the item I was getting. I hope I can go back sometime soon!

My Dad and I had been searching for GOOD falafel in Charlottesville, or even in Virginia,I have to say that the falafel from here is THE BEST FALAFEL we have ever had. Hands down, just amazing. If you like falafel this is the place to go, don't even bother trying anywhere else.

I get my gourmet quality G.O.R.P. there for around $7/lb while supporting a friendly neighborhood business. Compare that to a plactacine bag of mostly cheap candy @ $4 or $5 2oz from Wally World.
