After my husband unexpectedly passed away, I contacted Mia about the possibility of having our wedding rings, and my engagement ring transformed into a pendant piece of jewelry I could wear in remembrance of him. After meeting with her and talking about the design, I knew I was going to love it. But when I went back to the shop after it was finished and was ready to be picked up, I was just blown away by how gorgeous it turned out. It’s so beautiful and I get comments on it all the time. Mia is an expert in her craft, and she is also the most pleasant wonderful person to work with. Especially in dealing with such a delicate situation. I highly recommend her. I went to Formiah’s Jewelry to see if my late father’s ring could be restored, as it was in pretty rough shape and I wasn’t sure it was salvageable. I am so happy with how my rings came back from Formia! 3 years ago when I was pregnant my hands swelled up terribly and I couldn't get one of my wedding rings off. My dad had to saw off my band! Both rings had been on so tight that I had a terrible rash on my finger for weeks, even after the rings were off. I researched jewelers in C'Ville and loved that I could email Mia pictures and details about my rings. She replied back quickly and even included a quote. I dropped them off at her studio - easy peasy! I just picked up my rings today, and she fixed the solitaire, soldered the one that was sawed in half, and resized both of them. They sparkle like they did 8 years ago! Great customer service, great craftsmanship, great lady, great prices.

I found Formia Design and Mia through Pinterest and I could not be happier. I contacted Mia because I wanted to do something special with my grandparents wedding band and my father's wedding band. I sent her some inspiration pics of my rough ideas and she took it from there and created a beautiful bracelet with my grandparents bands and an amazing stacked necklace with my dad's band and a loose diamond that I had. She was sensitive to the fact that I wanted to preserve the basic integrity and the engraving in the bands. I had ordered a charm for my wife for Mother's Day. I had my son draw me 2 pictures, one of him and one of our dog. They were able to do both to one charm for me and also etch my son's writing of their names on the back. What a personalized gift. She has been begging me to get one made for her. She should be totally surprised. Everyone was great and the detail included everything my son drew. Shipping was quick also. Can't wait to see the expression on her face when she opens it. I was really impressed with my experience with Formia Design. From the beginning of the transaction, there was a lot of communication. I sent them a drawing that my daughter made and had them create a keychain for my husband from it. The turn around time was very fast and the product was amazing! Mia is an amazing artist and a master craftsman, and has a very unique and special vision. I've seen many pieces that she's done and I'm always amazed at how she captures the heart and the essence of children's drawings and not just the technical aspects. We are giving my daughter a charm bracelet for graduation. The charms are supposed to represent special people and events in her live. While looking for the charms I found Formia. My husband was so excited. He always draws a little dog. He puts it on letters, cards and random notes and places. So he wanted to have a charm made of this little dog. So We submit our order online and also gave them a call. Then nervously waited. With in a short time it was at my door. I opened the box it was perfect! Exactly what we visioned. Absolutely love Mia's work!!! I first brought my curb bracelet to another goldsmith to take out one link, was advised that it was impossible to do so because of the structure of the bracelet. Beautiful work, fantastic customer service, and quick turn around! Formia Design is everything a company should be. The people who work there were great about returning calls the same day I left a message, and worked with me to make a key chain within a week of Father's Day that arrived on time, if not early. And the finished product itself exceeded my expectations - it was perfect, and a huge hit. The key chain was based off a drawing of my son and his father, with the word "DAD" cut out on his shirt. I loved it so much, I want to get one for me. I will definitely be ordering again, and have recommended Formia Design to others.
