Nice to have a store like this here but when I compared common items that are not international with other groceries, they're overpriced beyond! Also, you can find just about everything here at any other grocery store.I guess upper management must not be doing their job by researching the surrounding local groceries for them to keep the price tag as is. All you need is an afternoon to go around Harris Teeter, Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's, and Wegmans and to see what their prices are like on the readily available items then they'll know what to do. But they must care less.

Charlottesville institution - it has been around for decades, in the same location but the store feels fresh and new. Not resting on its laurels. This is a neighborhood market stocked with international and hard to locate items. Staff members especially the wine person are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of products. Locally produced items are available as well. Bakery & delicious prepared hot foods, salads, sandwiches, sushi, etc. they've got you covered. Oh, did I mention the fried chicken? It's great! If you are a fan of Kite's ham, look no further, they have that too. If you have never been, stop by and be ready for a treat.

We don't go there often but I always visit when a recipe calls for an unusual ingredient that isn't stocked at my regular grocery store. They have a wonderful selection of international foods and a good variety of pick up lunch foods. Plan to have some fun looking before you checkout!

One of your best bets for higher quality produce in the area and an unusual selection of packaged/fresh grocery items. Strong bakery and prepared foods.

Foods of All Nations has excellent produce and wine sections, as well as a bakery, prepared food section, and cafe. They always have items I can't find other places and carry local spices and herbs! It's a great stop if you need to pick up a quick gift and card. It's a fun place to be adventurous, also - go in and grab something different and new to add to your pantry.

Favor store in Cville. New wine manager, Hope is great. If they don't have what; just ask if they can order it for you.

I love this place! I’ve been going since I was a kid and they always have new and cool things in stock. I can always count on them to have some of my favourite British candies/snacks. Their bakery and dessert items are also amazing and very decently priced! I hope they keep selling MarieBette bread too!

This store is not for riffraff, which should be obvious by the lack of EBT payments other reviewers mention and the outrageous prices. Want to pay $3.50 for a small tub of sour cream? Here you go. $20 a lb for steak? Yep.This is for left wing academics and yuppies who are willing to pay absurd prices for the social signaling of buying obscure brands of craft soda and 'organic' products while hiding from poor people without looking like they're hiding from poor people. Everyone else, steer clear.EDIT: >$10 for a four pack of Starbucks frapps. Same thing at Krogers is 6.49. Pic attached.

Went there a week ago after being away for a long time. Still the well supplied nice neat and clean place it was many years ago. Chicken salad is really really great. Please try the corn salad. I have been back there twice to get some. On the last visit, I was leaving and saw that they even served ice cream. Yum!!

Sushi is surprisingly good quality. After having a couple of the rolls I gave their nigiri a try and it was remarkable. Sorry Wegmans... Also if you come around noon sometimes there is a sweet man that thanks you for picking the sushi up. I'm like, my guy, your doing me the favor!

This was my first time there. I picked up a Cobb Salad. I think it was the best Cobb salad I have ever purchased. There weren't just a few little pieces of meat and other toppings - it was loaded. I didn't have much time to look around, but I will go back again.

Cute store but mostly things you find at most grocery stores. I was excited to go in thinking they would have French products but there wasn't anything I don't already find at the local Martin's. They do have a solid wine selection and friendly staff.

Really good selection, especially of coffee/tea. If I'm in the mood to make something "interesting," I can be sure that I'll find the "ingredients" at Foods of All Nations. Also, one time, I was buying some bulk tea (the Darjeeling - it's really tasty) and accidentally spilled a bunch of bulk tea in that aisle. We ended up with two full paper bags of bulk tea, and the cashier very gracefully said it was okay if we didn't want to buy both bags, which we didn't, because we aren't millionaires who can just flounce through Foods of All Nations buying as much bulk loose leaf Darjeeling as our hearts desire. We live in the world, and must abide by the constraints of the world, including our tea budget. Good store.

Wonderful local grocery. Helpful staff, items that I cannot find else were in Charlottesville. Only store that I bother to wander all the isle just to see what's there.

Love coming here and bringing my mum to get products from the UK. Wish they had a better variety of English products and Ahmad tea. Still a good place to shop and usually good service.

Excellent deli and hot foods. Stopped in for coconut macaroons, which are phenomenal, and picked up some lunch. The three sandwich options were a good value, tasted great, and provided with great service. Like most local grocers, prices are higher than big box stores, but the selection of local, regional, and international items will not be found at the big box stores either. For the authentic and unique, this is definitely worth the look. The selection of small label cheeses was quite impressive, as well as the variety of various sauces and seasonings. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to explore our international palate through this variety of selection.

I love Food of All Nation’s delicious, well made sandwiches to order that are made while you wait. They are very reasonably priced and a major lunch-hour weakness of mine. In terms of actually grocery shopping here, the prices are a bit up there, but the offerings are very unique and you won’t be able to find a lot of their international products at any other grocery stores. I hope Food of All Nations is here to stay as a Charlottesville staple.

It's just an OK grocery store. Like a co-op with a few international items. I saw a lot of British imports, some typical Asian foods, and a few Middle Eastern things, but I didn't see a lot of representation from places like Africa or Eastern Europe. For what they did have, it was pretty limited. I was expecting to see things like cassava, Okinawan sweet potatoes, goat meat, beef heart, more Hispanic foods, more kefir varieties that I can't find at my regular local grocery store, etc. I saw a lot of made in Virginia items and a few imported things. They did have natto in the frozen section, which is great, but overall -- unimpressive. The staff is really nice, though. I will stick to going to FoodMaxx in Harrisonburg next time, though. Even Martin's has a more "international" produce section.

Great specialty grocers. Alot of unusual items. Over priced. Ordered a sandwich and it was sloppy with juice dripping out on my clothes, sub roll was dry and untoasted

Top of my list for foreign foods! Great selection of treats from Asia, Europe and other places to tantalize the taste buds. Plus a great deli, carryout meals and produce! I stop by every time I get to the area!

The selection of food is a taste of all nations. You can tell that they take it seriously because of the way they hire people. It is nice to meet Hispanics, Indians, black, white, and everyone together, enjoying food. Entrance on the other side of Moe's BBQ. It is a grocery store, too. Go back to the deli for hot food and the prepackaged sandwiches. You find stuff that you don't normally find in a regular grocery store here.
