Efficient, convenient location, friendly staff. Unlike many store and warehouses around this part of town (Kroger, Walmart), these guys get busy when lines form and open new registers. Lately I hate to shop anywhere but at the Foodlion.

This is a great store. Always clean and well-stocked, It is not the closest store to me, but it is worth the drive to purchase their fresh meats.

I must have shopped here 150 or 200 times before I moved south of town. My experience was generally good. The store was rarely overcrowded, so that made shopping less stressful. The prices were reasonable and I found almost all of the things I needed, although they sometimes got rid of products I really liked, like Naked Juices. Occasionally, I had to visit customer service when I had to straighten out a mistake or return something that wasn't fresh, and they were always good about fixing the problem.

It was well stocked & staff friendly. The chicken tenders are excellent! Excellent selection of ice cream! I really enjoy their macaroni salad! They try hard to keep prices competitive! Need to bring your own bags for groceries or it is an extra charge.

Not very many gluten-free choices, soups, even Progresso? No gluten-free gravy at All! Guess No celiac live here. Also, ONLY 1 FULL SERVE check out,( 3 )12 item or Less. Guess they dont want to sell a lot to a family...

Food Lions now have a small but very nice produce section with fresh, good looking items!They also have a great meat section as well and we like the variety found in their stores!

I have never encountered such a rude individual as I did today at the Branchlands store. He was working the express checkout, I believe his name was Emanuel but I could be wrong because I was so angry at his rude behavior that I left without the receipt. This young man with slits in both of his eyebrows (for identification purposes) ignored my greeting, after ringing up my purchase, he turned his back without even telling me the total and continued to do nothing. I completed my purchase and left. This is not my first experience with this young man and he is always rude, I understand retail is desperate for people but he is not someone you need on your team, he is horrible. I never complain but this really upset me because I was way nicer than he deserved. Food Lion… Do Better

One of my favorite grocery stores to shop at. It's a tad smaller, but because of that you get that hometown feel.Nice selection of meat, great produce & nice small cheese variety. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend the store app as it adds to the savings.Store is always clean, staff has been very friendly and extremely helpful.Definitely recommend.

I always end up at food lion for the best steaks, and now I realized their brand ice cream and dream sickles are better than everyone else's too. Also the product lasts longer than walmart's, I'm always throwing theirs out before I get a chance to eat it, so verdict? I'm just going to shop here for everything food from now on.

Staff members very helpful! And nice! Prices are outrageously high now during this pandemic. Staff need raises. As normal, cashiers working like Hebrew slaves/management have 2 be sought out. TYPICAL. 💯👌😝😌😜😇

Pamela is the worst associate i have ever had at this store. She through a hissy fit when my wife and i came up to her teller. I have never had someone so incredibly rude as her. And she yelled at the customers behind us because of how many items they had when they were well under. I come to this store several times a week. But i will be taking my business elsewhere why you retain such a rude and disrespectful woman on your staff.

Love the staff here . The lines are always fast, you’re in and out. Chase is my favorite cashier he is always pleasant. They’re always stocked the best way they can be. Everyone is just super nice here

Register 6, today Friday July 8th. 6om..the young lady on register 6 just very nasty and rude. Throwing food around. Bad look for this food lion acting that way...and I can guarantee she wouldn't like someone throwing her food around and bring so riude. Young African American girl wearing a blue wrap around her head. I normally wouldn't complain but she obviously doesn't wanna work and I'm sure I'm not the only person she's treating this way. Thought you'd wanva knowToday July 9th register 1, the express lane, what a wonderful happy polite hard working young lady. 635pm Sat. Thank yo. Didn't get her name but 5 stars min today. ***** couldn't wrote a new review. But this young lady was GREAT. What a difference from yesterday.

Food Lion is a nice store. They don't have the best prices in town on everything, but a lot of things are priced right. The store is clean and quiet, the employees are friendly, and the shelves are fully-stocked. Would recommend.

The staff here are really friendly! I visited customer service to learn that you need to "activate offers" on the mobile app once every 30 days for extra mvp savings. The selection is nice and the store is clean.

I always enjoy shopping at foodlion. The sale items are usually always in stock. Store is kept neat. When lines are backed up, they will get another register opened to get their customers checked out in a timely manner. (a BIG plus!)

Definitely a must stop to visit if you are in the area. It's a short tour inside but gives you a sense of Thomas Jefferson-a complicated and brilliant person. Also give you an insight into tje lives of " enslaved persons " a word that i now prefer over just "slaves" which tends to label them as objects

They never have everything I need, and don't carry dairy free ice cream. But it's good for a quick stop to grab the essentials.Edit: they DO have dairy free ben and jerrys now! This is a very good thing. Also, whenever my wife and i enter the store, a random track off Taylor Swift's Fearless plays. The storefront looks like the last known photo of a Food Lion. In all seriousness, everyone there is very nice and it is my go to store.

The last several times I have been to the deli I have been very unhappy with the service I have received. When I am finally served, I am not getting what I have asked for. I don't think I will use the deli again. The only reason I usually go to the store is because it is so close to my house. I will be driving a bit further for better service from now on.

So. Easter Sunday and visiting relative. An employee cashier at register 1 is telling customers "I've had one customer after another all morning. They shouldn't even be out shopping they should be in church today" a cashier, at a supermarket, is telling customers they should not be shopping.
