Low on staff. Had 4 items and fast lane checkout had decided to checkout a lady that had over 70 items even thought other checkout lanes were not that busy. I moved to regular lanes and was done before fast lane. Tried complaining to manager, but no one was in sight.

I love shopping at this Foodlion (Timberwood Blvd, Charlottesville, Va.)!! This store is always so clean and I love the wide isles to stroll down!! Foodlion always has great sales to save me money!! I love using my MVP card to get all of my savings!! I always look for the new weekly sale paper to see what I can purchase!!😊😊💯💯🙌🙌

I rarely shop at this store. I hate having to pay for a plastic bag . I know it's not the stores fault. It's a city/ county issue. I enjoy this food lion's meat. It is always stocked and if not the person that works there has no problem finding it for you. No self checkout. And they don't mind opening another line if it gets congested . Ruckersville Food lion is my go too.

Decent place. Nothing much different from any peek other food lion in this area. Stocked well enough in these trying times. Staff level is adequate. Cleanliness is acceptable. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score. Especially nice at this time of the year. We will return.

My first visit to the Dairy. I remember when the building was an actual dairy. I love the concept -a food hall and boutiques with lots of choices. Thai, vegan,soul, pizza, burgers to name a few. Plenty of seating inside and outside. The first hour of parking is free. I will return!

Three out of five because in all the years I've shopped at this store I've never had any issues whatsoever, until I attempted to purchase beer with an expired license. I was waiting on my new one in the mail and explained this to my cashier. Although I was agitated and didn't understand why it would matter I also understand that companies have policies like this for a reason. I remained calm and attempted to joke with my cashier casually as she removed the beer from my tab. In retrospect what really upset me was how completely un-empathetic she was, and the expression on her face and the slight smirk on the corner of her mouth really made me feel as though she was enjoying the ability to tell me I couldn't purchase the beer, as if she was finally in control of something and was riding it for all she could. I still shop at this food lion, but if every checkout lane is a ten minute wait and her aisle is empty I will gladly wait before allowing her to serve me.

I needed some ice cream for some late night snacking. Food Lion was open and really had a great selection of store brand and the famous national flavors. I opted for Chocolate Marshmallow and several ice pops and fudge bars. All were promptly devoured by hungry night owls.The store was clean, well stocked and neat. The check out clerk was pleasant and efficient. Nice job Food Lion!

I love everything about this store, except that the bakery rolls use soy for some of their flour. Pretty far stretch from a homemade recipe. It's in the less than 2% category, but they still made my daughter horribly ill for the better part of the day (until she threw up), given she has a foid intolerance to soy. Given that she usually isn't THAT sensitive, I suspect the ingredient list is inaccurate with respect to proportions.

Horrible customer service managers, they don’t know their job, absolutely wrong interpretation one to another what I needed, I wanted to send just 50$ for my family as a gift for Christmas, through phone app but pay in store, they just didn’t listen to me and treated me because of my accent like I’m a nobody, they don’t know even the policy on Western Union , so sick of incompetence at service hubs. Pleas Food Lion train them properly!

Very pleased with todays trip. Clean and stocked , but I encountered 2 employees that made me laugh like I haven’t done in over 3 months. In a time when things are grim, dark , and just unsettling, these 2 employees made me laugh. And they laughed as well, the best medicine. Thank ypu Tracy and I didn’t get the gentlemen’s name👍👏😊

It's been totally remodeled and looks fantastic! Produce is always fresh, and they have a great selection of products. I withheld one star because they don't carry Fage yogurt or Bolthouse salad dressings and those are both staples for me. I have to go to Kroger to get them.

A great store for basics. The produce section is VERY small. Since their recent update, shopping is a more pleasant experience, brighter ambiance, & less claustrophobic.Prices are reasonable & the personnel are pleasant.

It is okay. The front end and deli are going through a remodel. I do n't think they have a salad bar there. Most of the time, you can get in and out pretty quickly.

Better selection after the store reconfigured a few months back. Store is clean and well lit. The sales come through often, so be on the lookout for your favorites. Plenty of parking. Convenient, neighborhood store.

I absolutely love Food Lion! I worked here and the employees are mostly kind and caring. This is my favorite store in the Charlottesville area after the Mill Creek store.

They are going thru a redo! It will be very nice! The cashiers are generally very helpful and it is the only Food Lion I have ever shopped in that will put your bags in your cart!!! Love that!!!
