We came to the store to find out they were closing at 6PM. We got in about 5 min before that. We were practically running in to get what we needed. We asked why they were closing. We were told because they didn't have enough employees. The guy was very nice and friendly. We told him and the female employee to get some rest. They had been working for like 9+ hours. We will go back, but hope they stay open later, hire new employees.

Very shady location. Was told they couldn't take my credit card because it was cracked (chip worked just fine). Phone number is just someone's cell phone... wow really? Better places to go in this vicinity!

There's a lady name Joy who works there. She is highly dedicated and committed to her job. She matches her name full of Joy. I always look forward to seeing her when I come in there. Today although the line was long primarily because she was the only one working, she handled it well in good spirits and in a fast manner. She is a great asset for the family Dollar. A promotion is needed. Thanks for having her there.

I came into family dollar and bought a pack of candy. As I was browsing, I felt uncomfortable due to various social cues from an employee. It seemed like the employee was suggesting that I was stealing. I was with two other individuals and they also felt uncomfortable. I overheard the employee mentioning the "dish aisle," and that just so happened to be the aisle we were in. Soon after, the security guard came on the intercom and began an announcement about video surveillance and stealing products. Very abnormal. I've been into this family dollar multiple times and there's never been an announcement like this. As I was leaving, the same cashier was checking a customer out and would not stop staring at us walking out the door. I am completely and utterly disappointed in this service that I received at this family dollar and I probably will not return. I go into many other stores and I am NEVER treated in this manner. The cashier who was exhibiting these social cues name was Connie. I would suggest that Connie take a discrimination awareness training course. I'd like to say that I have NEVER stolen in my life and the fact that I was treated in this way is abhorring! I have no idea why this woman felt threatened by us. I was very friendly when I was greeted by another employee when I initially walked in.... I'm very disgusted and disappointed.

I was in the store this past week, and the service was VERY poor. I asked to speak to the store Manager and was told she was in the store. Could not find her. Only one cash register was open with at least 10 customers waiting. As I was leaving the store she was in front of the store smoking and on her phone. She was there when I went into the store. The line to check out was long and yet she is outside on break? I was told her name was Lisa. On a previous visit, she was in stock area with an employee an older white gentleman socializing and when I asked both of them a question, she dismissed me like I was not worth her time.The previous manager was always in the store helping the cashier or stocking the shelves. I hope someone at corporate looks at these reviews.

Very large , well stocked store. A bit over crowded but fine. Good parking and helpful workers. There are men's and womens bathrooms on premises. Pretty good sized $1 only selection.

WAS LOOKING FOR CHRISTMAS CARD'S & THE ONE'S THEY DID HAVE LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD THEM FOR 10 YEARS. WAS LOOKING FOR SOME N A 2023 CALENDAR. DIDN'T FIND EITHER. DID GET A FEW THINGS BUT LEFT A DOLLAR ROLL OF CHRISTMAS PAPER THERE & CALLED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND I TOLD HER TO KEEP IT AND TAKE IT HOME YOU SAID SHE COULDN'T. I TOLD HER I WASN'T DRIVING ALL THE WAY BACK THERE JUST FOR A DOLLAR ROLL CHRISTMAS WRAPPING PAPER WHEN I LIVED IN CHARLOTTESVILLE. SO I GUESS YOU JUST WAS A DOLLAR MORE THE SAT WE WAS THERE TWO WEEKS AGO.

There is always a wait for a cashier, whi h is ok but last time the line was all qay down the asile and only one cashier and she was closing at 2pm and had an attitudeAlso cant get answer phone

Cashier was talked ng to her friend standing on the side of reguster. Rang up items I retrieved my receipt didn't say thank you. Until I said thank you

I went to Family Dollar. I found the items I was looking for. The employees are very friendly and I was very glad to shop at Family Dollar. I hope you will shop here 2 and I hope your experience is a good one 2.

Good store to shop at just you have to wait a while to check out sometimes and the parking lot is very difficult to get out of. you have to cross three lanes of road when turning left out of parking lot

They are never open after 2 and some days they are closed. They only have 1 cashier in there. They never answer the phone when you call to see if they are open.
