Yesterday I went in to grab a few things there were two cashier's up at the front one was getting ready to count down a drawer. They both leave the register and the older lady with the short brown hair told me it may be a minute I'll be waiting. Both cashier's went back to their office and proceeded to count down a drawer I heard the change clinking for about 15 minutes and watched the line grow all the way down the isle. The customer service was horrible I thought customer come first after that I left my items on the counter and left the store upset. I'm hoping they hire new employees that have customer service skills. To the older lady you are old enough to know better.

They need to shut it down and start over. They keep on changing people. It was doing good. It’s time for them to shut down and reopen all new people new management. They got one little lady on the cashier and they got a manager always be outside talking to people for hours, it’s time for a change

Usually has what I need. Would be nice if they actually opened when they're supposed to open.Lowered rating because the manager slowly walk up well after posted hours, went in, but immediately locked the door behind him.

The blonde lady who works there is really sweet . But the big lady with the bright red hair is Beyond rude. Actually mean. She ignores me and other customers when I ask how she is doing . She doesn’t say my total outloud and she huffs and rolls her eyes at me every time I’m in line. It’s to the point now where I don’t even feel comfortable shopping there anymore. Jeez lady, who hurt you.

This place ALWAYS looks like a tornado hit the inside! Things all over, on the floor, shelves not stocked, dirty, and we don't like coming here. They have 2-3 employees that we have seen and they don't seem to do anything. Most DT are neat and organized, well not this one. You would be surprised bc the shopping center and shops are so nice. We don't feel comfortable in this store and go to other DT now. We DO NOT recommend this place!

SHARON & RALPH have been the workers in the store for these less than pleasant recent visits. Due to my schedule, I happen to have recently visited the store within the last 30 minutes of store operating hours to purchase lights for my home. The store has been closing at 6:00 PM recently. Upon entering the store Sharon has looked at me and without giving any greeting has said to me: "STORE IS CLOSING AT 6" ... exuding negative energy and causing me to feel very uncomfortable getting items that I needed before going home. Ralph, while standing at the cash register would project his voice at those who entered the store and state, "STORE IS CLOSING AT 6" -with no greeting and also with very negative energy. I think this is worth noting in this review for the store owner to know about because the store is OPEN until 6 and staff should not subject paying customers to such rude, negative, and unwelcoming energy and body language for entering the store during the time the store IS IN FACT OPEN. I do have compassion for the staff because we are all facing a very challenging time in society. The whole world is short staffed and they have the strength and dedication to show up. I commend them for their resilience. However, I do not want them to treat me with less than decency for arriving to the store to spendmoney for needed items.

That store is absolutely trash They only had one cashier today on register one I waited 10 minutes in line. and she was so obnoxious and she didn’t give me my receipt never coming back here again.

A lot of the shelves were pretty bare and the ones that weren't were very messy as they are somehow already getting ready for Valentine's day! They are clearly understaffed as there was a long line with one register open. Hopefully they find staff soon!

Friendly staff. Up-to-par with all other Dollar Trees I have been and better. They are clean and organized. I enjoy the item of the day/week being right in the front of the store and easy to find. I always purchase tons of holiday decorations for all holidays here as they are cheap and normally last.

Dollar Tree has a wide variety of items for sale and everything is a dollar. They have a great assortment of candies shampoo as soap. All kinds of snacks. Sorry, you can't get a better deal on birthday cards or any type of cards stuff for parties plasticware, especially and it's good quality stuff. Sometimes the store can be a little crowded due to having to keep self shelves stocked all in all it's a great experience. And they also have a good choice of food items as well.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I just called looking for Wreath Forms and the guy who answered didn’t know what I was speaking of, so he put the Store Manager on the phone. I asked him did he understand what I was asking for and he said yes. The gentleman quickly said “No we don’t have any that the manager from the other location stated that they have never carried them” which is a lie because I’ve bought them there many of times. He then put the phone down and let it sit there!! Terrible!!! Who does customers like this?!?

I love all dollar trees. You can find good name brand items that cost in the dollar tree for a dollar. You would be surprised what you can find. My kids love it because I say pick whatever toy you want. They love that they can get hot wheels here to add to their collection. If I ever need anything I stop to think if dollar tree have it before any other store comes to mind.

10-18Poor Customer Service!Purchased items that cost less than $10.00 .I gave the cashier $20.00 who in return gives me change for $10.00.Cashier calls the manager,who asked the cashier, Are you sure he gave you a $20.00? Of course he wasnt sure because he would have given me the correct change if he were sure but I was sure what I gave him.11-18Rude!If you don't like the job,you shouldn't be working there.Morning cashier!Update!6-18-19Still there!Still rude!

One of the best kept secrets in Cville!!! So many amazing things— always for $1. So perfect for kids rewards. Why pay $7 for a balloon at Wegmans when the exact same ones are $1 here?!! And don’t get this confused with Dollar General across the street— dollar tree is much nicer!!!

I had left my id there Monday. It accidentally fell from my pocket. I’ve been going up there all week. They remember seeing it but can’t find it. Just called and someone left me on hold for 25 minutes. He sat the phone down and was talking to other employees but never picked my call back up. Thanks for nothing.

Good friendly workers and a solid knowledge of where items are located in the store. Like everywhere right now keeping things in stock is an issue but what they do have is neat and clean.

When I went to 5th street dollar tree the lady there “Emma” was one of the kindest people I have met she was very considerate of my Situation and helped me fully even while running the register and stocking and the store was very busy. You have hired a keeper!!!

They usually have any thing you're looking for.. (not furniture)..but you can purchase items such as toiletry, kitchenware, toilet paper and ECT.. the prices are reasonable..

Why does this close at 7 p.m. on Sundays??? That means going up Pantops or out 29 North....otherwise it's ok.
