Our pup Luna looooves this place so much, and we do too! We are too far away for it to be a convenient daycare location, but this is our go-to boarding location as it's conveniently located on the way out of town. We always book a grooming for the end of Luna's stay, and she always comes back to us smelling good, feeling soft, and clean! The ladies working here are really kind and accommodating - sometimes, our flights are delayed coming back, and they never mind keeping her for an extra day. Thank you for taking care of our little crazy hyena!!! Attached photos of Luna right after her pre-Xmas stay - she fell asleep on the way home smiling :-)

Excellent, careful and thoughtful in taking care of pets. Our 12 year old dog had been reluctant to be groomed at other places we had tried, but ever since CG&S has been taking care of her, there is no anxiety and she gladly walks into the shop. All interactions are professional and on time. It is no surprise they are highly booked.

Post your tape. This place is horrible. Ive been treated rudely and havnt even seen the facility. Im definitely going to the Cat Care Clinic. (Psa to customers, don't bring records on your pets)If you want people to read your door signs you should let them get within 10 feet of the door. Also I will reiterate again that I was trying to be a customer. I'm sorry that you don't get that. I am also sorry you don't understand multitasking.I stopped by to ask a few questions, as I had just adopted a cat. I also work with small businesses, so I figured I would also see if they needed my services. As soon as I pulled up the lady came out and started saying repeatedly (I'm just going to point in that direction) and pointed at the door, so I went to walk in and she stopped me, and clarified that there's a no soliciting sign. Okay, no worries. So I asked if I could ask her a few questions on a different note, and she said no! Run people off with the tude. Why don't you.I had to reiterate that I was attempting to be a customer for her attitude to change. However, I don't want to give my money to people with no respect or social skills.

Pepin is a big guy (27” at shoulder) who first came to Creatures Great and Small 2 years ago for grooming. He was terrorized and fought them on the nail clipping and fur clipping, especially around his feet and face. Now he behaves and walks right in to the shop on arrival. These folks know their dogs! Jasper and the others do a great job on him, retaining his Briard look in the face but providing him a more comfortable, shorter coat. Great place!

We have 2 very fluffy small dogs and Creatures Great & Small is the only place that I trust grooming them (especially our 17 year old senior dog with health problems). They always handle him with extra care and I know he's in great hands when we drop him off. The staff really cares and takes pride in what they do. Our dogs always come out happy and looking great! Everyone that works there is very friendly, professional and we've never had any issues booking.

The team at creatures great and small has exceeded all of my expectations. My dog Mowgli is extremely anxious and is very picky about who he spends his time with. We were not able to board him for the last 6 years due to his behavior but they have made him enjoy being there. I can’t thank them enough for all they have done for mowgli and our family and allowing us to go on vacation again!!!

I tried out several different groomers before finding Creatures Great and Small. But finally, with Katie, I found the professionalism that I was looking for.Very prompt at replying to emails and phone calls. They do an Excellent job with the grooming, and they really care about client satisfaction.I drive quite a ways to take my dog there even though I used to have a groomer that came conveniently to my house! So that says a lot.I would recommend them to anybody!

Just picked up my dog and I am so impressed with how great she looks! I’ve tried every groomer in town and this place is the best! I have a small Cockapoo and her haircut turned out exactly how we wanted. She also got a cute little bow on her head. I will never go anywhere else!

I brought my quirky Cockapoo here to get his nails trimmed when other groomers and even the vet refused to trim them. I offered to give him a sedative of some kind (which someone had recommended), but they insisted he be unmedicated so they could know his true temperament. Somehow - they were successful!! I now bring him regularly for nail trims and have started getting him clipped here as well. Very professional. They do a great job!!

They took great care of my almost 13 yr old lab for 5 days. They like the older dog and have much patience with a slow walker. Will definitely use their services again!

My Aussie was there within the time frame to get a bath, trimming, toenails, etc. Her haircut was choppy, her back hairs were not cut properly. I specifically said to NOT shave the dog and the back half of her stomach was shaved. On top of all that I called at 3:30 to see how long it would be after 6 hours and whoever answered the phone said they forgot to call me. At the end of it they charged me $10 more because she is a "large dog". I had been there earlier this year and dog is no larger now than she was before. She had not had a drink of water in 6.5 hours and drank 3 full bowls of water. The staff at this place is getting really sloppy in their work. I sincerely recommend NOT taking your dog there

This was our first grooming experience at Creatures...with my Bichon....it was an excellent experience and it certainly won’t be our last grooming visitation.My dog looked awesome and was happy and not a bit fearful...They scored a perfect 5 stars...kudos

Great experience. The animals are well taken care of. Katie and her mom are AWESOME!! You can tell when you first walk in that they truly care for each and every animal there. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We have a Maremma Sheepdog lab mix, and she can be a difficult dog to take care of. Creatures Great and Small has done an amazing job of taking care of her when we have to leave town. Our dog actually loves going there!

Took our terrier Emrys to get a terrier haircut from people that really sounded like they knew what they were doing. Setting up an appointment was quick and easy, I set it up and on the day of my husband took our dog in. He filled out all the paperwork and reminded them to call him when they were done because I work 12 hour shifts. They apparently finished around noon and called me twice about it. I was at work so I was unable to answer and my husband was unaware. He finally just went and got our dog around 4 or 4:30pm. When he got Emrys home he noticed he was favoring his ear and checked it out.Turned out the had cut off part of the inside of the ear!I ended up calling them about this because it was distressing to find. I totally get that animals move and jerk away, just let us know! They never ever got back to us about the ear. Don’t think we’ll ever get back. Plus I didn’t like his cut. They took too much of his eyebrows. He ended up looking like an Airedale instead of a Welsh Terrier.UPDATE: After posting my review, I was contacted. Once Emrys' hair grows out we will try another haircut here. We were informed that when I was first called the groomer had the intention of telling us she had cut off part of his ear but she forgot about it by the time my husband picked him up. We will try them again, but the owner did make it seem like this was partially our fault when talking to my husband on the phone. He felt very uncomfortable when she was telling him all the steps she had taken with the staff, how stressed the situation had made her, and the fact that it was a month later, etc. But we had called in a timely manner and I had given them time to call us back. Anyway, we shall see what happens the next time we go in. Hopefully I will get the chance to delete this review and leave a more positive one.UPDATE #2: After a few more groomings I can say that I am thrilled with CGAS. They check with me to know exactly how I want my dog cut, and while I know it kills them not to cut breed standard (as they judge show dogs and are very well versed in breed standard cuts) they have been very accommodating and check in with us often. While we had a rocky start, I am pleased to say we are very pleased with CGAS now and their willingness to make it right with us.

Creatures Great & Small are absoutely the best! If you need a groomer or boarding facility that has knowledgeable, friendly, patient and honest staff, take your pet to Creatures Great & Small. I have tried several groomers and have found no one with the patience and knowledge like this staff. You and your pet will not feel like a number, you will feel welcomed and well cared for. After an initially bad experience I went in to talk both mother and daughter seemed sincerely concerned about my pet and wanted to make things right. They offered and have paid vet bill and called to check on him. I have used them in past without problems that's why it was a surprise this time. I truly believe they care and are worried about him. It was unfortunate that they let him get in that condition but are trying to make amends
