Our usual feed store had a system outage and was turning customers away, of course I absolutely needed to get feed that day. So I came to Blue Ridge out of desperation and was pleasantly surprised. The young kids running the registers were very helpful in finding me the feed I needed and even loaded my truck up for me. I was pleasantly surprised with their seed selection and locally grown house plants. Will definitely be back!

Friendly, fast, and usually have more than what I need. Just FYI, they are NOT carrying baby chicks this year, but you can blame avian flu for that.

5/15/22 I am LIVID...pulled up at 3:55pm to grab 2 bags of potting soil and lady came out of the door shaking her head NO and held up five fingers to indicate she wasn't willing to wait on me. I have bought my chicken food here for YEARS. Along with various garden plants flowers pumpkins in the fall...BUT NO MORE. In my life experiences with reputable businesses if you enter close to closing time you are still allowed to patronize the establishment. I am so angry...I will never come back to this SS! We will actually need 2 to 3 truckloads of mulch in the next week but will buy from another business.

I have been going here for a few years. The manager and staff are really friendly and helpful. I have been acquainted with Beverly for quite awhile and she has been friendly and excellent. Everybody works hard to help their customers. They always help load the car with large bags of animal food. I am very appreciative of this wonderful store.

My "go to" place for gardening supplies. I have always received excellent service and advice. I love the fact that they have many organic gardening supplies and a wide variety of bird seed and accesories.

Not a great experience....not helpful. I realize that I got there 30 minutes prior to closing but I appeared to be more of a nuisance than anything. I will get the balance of plants and seeds elsewhere.

The woman who talked to me was knowledgeable about what plants were perennials versus annuals and helped me group my plants together.
