By definition schnitzel is a "thin slice of meat, usually thinned by pounding with a meat tenderizer"This meat was not thim nor had it been poundedOn the menu it should just offer breaded pork instead of insulting the Viennese by calling this dish schnitzel. While I appreciate the effort to mitigate plastic waste in packaging some things need more effort and protection on take away orders. Chicken pot pie would be one of those items that needs extra care.I was ten minutes later than the pickup time. My lodging was 3 minutes away and all the food including the fries were lukewarm, to include the potpie.Food flavor and quality was very good but given I spent $100 on a tocgo order and had to warm my food before consumption I can't rate as high as probably should be expected.Comsidering everything, I would probably give them a try eating in but schnitzel should always be pounded to avoid fat / chewy gristle pieces. 😉

The Philly Cheese Chicken Sandwich $12 was amazing with the pretzel bun. Mixed with green peppers, onions. Chicken was cooked to perfection. Side slaw was nice, light and no mayo. The sandwich stayed warm the entire time eating it, now that is a mystery to me. Possibly the best sandwich! Ordered two coffees $4/ea that tasted wonderful but was semi cooled by the time I got it. Staff supper friendly, tree hugging folks. Loads of beer selection that was honestly overwhelming to take all of it in. Parking is just past the first entrance, around back lower level. Will be back again!

The nachos were awesome we got ours with the meat. My husband had the chicken pot pie which the filling was very flavorful but the crust left a little left to be desired so he didn’t the shell of it. And I had the shrimp and grits flavor also very delicious my only small complaint was that it was tail-on shrimp, mixed into this beautiful dish that you had to cut off and plop off to the side, I personally like to get everything out of the tail which then meant getting my fingers full of grits.

Lots of great vegetarian options along with a huge selection of wines and beers. Our server Ryan was very friendly and helpful. The veggie quesadilla is my go to entree to order. The bar could have a better selection of Scotches but otherwise a wonderful place to eat with lots of outdoor covered space!

Another amazing find with fabulous and attentive staff, delicious food and homemade desserts. Hubby got the Avocado Goddess sandwich, and I got the Avocado salad, both absolutely devine!! Highly recommend this for any time of the day. Parking is limited, but there is parking around the back.

Ordered the bacon jam burger with frites. Burger was a 6.5 out of 10, and the frites were a 1.5. They were cold, super soggy, and mushy. Some of the most outrageous pricing I've seen for their beer selection. My wife and I got one entree, one side, and one drink each and it was still over $70. I want to give it another try, but be prepared to spend some money here for potentially mid-level food. Hoping the experience is better next time.

Beer Run hits that sweet spot that feels like it’s a locals neighborhood spot and has a low key vibe, a decent amount of outdoor seating snuck into a small space, and most importantly a well-curated beer list. Brunch is taco options. No frills, good vibes. Also “end of the line” for the greenway extension from downtown, so easy to bike here.

Beer Run's ever-changing menu is the perfect blend of crave-worthy bar food (nachos, veggie burgers, wings, and bratwursts) and super healthy ingredients (everything possible is locally sourced and organic). It's unpretentious attitude makes for a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It gets busy in the evenings, so go early to get a table, and leave your car at home and walk if you can as parking fills up.My favorite time to go is on Saturday mornings for the breakfast tacos-- nothing beats an authentic homemade tortilla and it's a good excuse to have a breakfast beer, spicy bloody, or a nitro cold brew on tap! It's also the cheapest place in Charlottesville to share a bottle of your favorite wine from the retail section (just $5 capping fee!)—they have quite an impressive selection. And, of course, their beer selection is out of this world. It's a great place to geek out on craft beer, but they won't think twice if you just want a PBR or a Natty boh. Get thee to Beer Run!!

Can't comment on the food but... WOW! The beer selection is mind-blowing. If you're looking for a craft beer, chances are you'll find it here. They also have a pretty decent selection of wine. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Visited after a long while - ordered the catfish like I usually do . Fish was lacking the delicious toppings . Frites were overcooked , dry and bland compared to what they used to be in the past .Brownie Sundae seemed like icecream on top of a mushy undercooked brownie . Will likely not be having dinner here again

Great selection of beers from all over and the food seems very gourmet. They have very good and fancy plating and the food is up to quality. Great place to come with friends and hang or just a date.

The food was delicious! This restaurant kind of reminds me of beach style restaurants. They have plenty of seating in the outside patio area but I only saw a few tables on the inside. The inside area seems to be mostly dedicated to selling beer and wine and some desserts. The guy that helped me find my beer was very helpful and super nice. Overall, this was a great experience!

Cheerful place, delicious food. The Saturday breakfast Tacos are a hit when we take family and friends visiting from out of town. There are plenty of choices for meat lovers (the El Mariachi is a favorite) and vegetarians (the Gardener is tops). Add an order of potato frites and cocktails. The Bloody Mary comes in Mild. The Spicy version is for the more adventurous. There's also a Mimosa for a lighter fix.

Very pleasant experience. Went around 9 am for breakfast. Service was great, food came out in a timely manner, and wasn’t too bad on the price. Food tasted great! Nice unique place to eat and buy beer/other fermented beverages. Will come back!

Dined outside at Beer Run on a Friday evening. They've added an additional outdoor dining area covered by a tent, which helps since they are not taking reservations. Orders are placed at a separate location, not with wait staff at the table. Staff act as food runners and are constantly cleaning. This appears to be a mitigation strategy to reduce contact time with customers.Beer run still offers a stellar beer selection both on draft and in cans/bottles. Special tappings still occur periodically, with the most recent one being Dinner by Maine Beer Company. The menu seems to continue to change some periodically. On this visit, I enjoyed the Beat 'em To It bowl. It consisted of chicken, sweet potatoes, beets, apple, kale, almonds, and goat cheese over quinoa. A side of balsamic honey was served to help tie all the flavors together. It all worked and was delicious.Looking forward to the next visit.

Casual and delicious. The half spicy bloody Mary is plenty spicy, so be careful when ordering. They pickle the green beans in it themselves and you can ask them to add bacon, even though it's not on the menu. The fish tacos are HUGE so think about sharing. They have a good beer list and lots of craft beer for sale to take home. A definite go to spot.
