My Next Puppy, thank you for making my experience and enjoyable one. Denim Kei has settled in well in his new home. Kobe and I are happy to have him join our family. Shaun was very helpful with the process and the other staff including Charles were very hospitable during the process. Thank you so much!

Great service and patience by the team at this store. Really made our first puppy purchase enjoyable and comfortable with no commitments required. Keara was a pleasure to work with and her love for these pets really showed.

Bought a boxer I was told the puppy was 6 months old. Then took to vet they recommended and they said 5 months old. Then come to find out the pup had tape worm and a GI problem that they Vet never Included within the information they gave me. Also the vet they recommended charged for test that was never done. I feel completely screwed over by this business and has cost me and the puppy more than should've ever had. And all they had to do was to be upfront. Just feel absolutely awful and hopefully who every gets a puppy from Here get puppy completely checked out from someone else than the recommended and please be careful

My daughter and I received our sweet little pup Ms. Daisy Dooh about three weeks ago from this shop and we cant imagine our lives without her. Daisy is the sweetest little pup and everyone she encounters falls in love with her instantly. She acclimated to our home quickly and she is training well. Ms. Daisy Dooh is a paw-fect little princess pup and she fits right in with me and my daughter and loves to look pretty in pink. There was no way I was not leaving the shop without Ms. Daisy Dooh. Thanks for helping us find the right pup :).

They dont give prices over the phone but when you come in they tell you they are 8-10k and once you pay a portion to take them home ($4k) you somehow still end up w a $10k balance so in reality, they cost 14k. Youre welcome! Just letting you know so you dont make the trip if you dont want to make an emotional purchase like I did.I love my dog, and I still have him, hes healthy and all except for he can not control his bladder and pees out of excitement even now two years later. If I could give him back and get all or half of my money back I probably would. I simply dont have the time and effort it takes to have a dog like him that unfortunately requires way more time and attention due to this issue. So yeah think about it really long and hard! There are websites that will literally bring your dog to your door for $2k and I was so upset when I found this out because I was totally ripped off by this place.

My boyfriend and I adopted a Siberian husky from this store - best and worst decision of our lives. She is amazing, well behaved and semi-playful (you’ll see why only semi-playful) But they gave us a sick dog. Within 4 days of bringing her home, as suggested I was looking for a vet, I was told she needed to immediately be seen by an emergency vet because of how sick she was. I read the contracts, had them explain several times the policies for their vet visit financial coverage, but within 4 days of having our puppy she was diagnosed with pneumonia through blood work and X-rays (which were necessary for the diagnosis), put on 3 medications, and has to get X-rays redone as well as at least one more week of the two antibiotics she’s on. Despite all their talk of great health coverage and warranties, for vet costs of over $1,000 for her initial treatment and medication they offered me a $60.26 reimbursement. WITHOUT the continued cost from her upcoming vet visit to make sure she’s recovering. I also now doubt that my puppy actually saw a vet upon her arrival at the store like I was told. For a vet to miss something like this is something huge, with the advancement of her illness and the fact that she was sick immediately after bringing her home where there was no contact with any other dogs from our end, there’s no way she didn’t have it before leaving the store where I was told she’d only been a couple days. I live over an hour away so driving all the way back to go to ā€œthe vet of their choiceā€ when I’m told my puppy is in serious condition would be irresponsible as an owner. That time could make or break her recovery depending on what she’d had. We made this decision because the company seemed reliable and like they actually cared about both the puppy’s and their customers.Edit: in response to what was replied by the store. What I said to you in your email is that what was discussed in store did not follow what the contract states and when I asked about it the girl told me it was the vet visit in its entirety. BUT I would accept that if it was an illness my puppy picked up elsewhere. Pneumonia doesn’t spawn overnight, she was already sick when we took her home with us and that is why I’m frustrated by the clear lack of empathy your company seems to direct at your puppies and customers.

I recently purchased a Cairn Terrier puppy from this store and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff took the time to help me find a dog that fit my household and one that honestly was perfect for me . I don’t know how they do it but they matched me with the best most loving dog I’ve ever had! They even sent us home with a 40lb bag of puppy food so he wouldn’t have a drastic change in his diet . This was a wonderful experience and I’m so happy !!

My dream used to be becoming rich to own a Lamborghini, but it has changed since I visited my next-door puppy. There's no way I can afford to buy an adorable puppy from this shop, but someday, I will work hard and become wealthy to fulfill that dream!! :)

NO reputable breeder sells to shops like these, despite what they'd like you to think--they are straight-up lying. My Next Puppy and puppy shops like them sell ridiculously overpriced, unhealthy dogs from backyard breeders and puppy mills to folks with more money than sense. Do yourself a favor and do your research.Go to a reputable breeder (and yes, you will have to get on a waiting list, but it is worth it) and get a cheaper dog (I'm talking 1/4 of the price) from health-tested parents that's properly socialized and brought up in better conditions. If you are going to disregard this advice and move ahead with a purchase from My Next Puppy, be sure to read your contract thoroughly and demand that your dog see a vet of YOUR choosing before forking over thousands of dollars. Several of their animals have been sold sick or with severe behavioral issues--just check out the other reviews.

This place would not tell me how much their puppies were over the phone before my visit. Since it was almost an hour away from me, I would have benefited from this information before the drive and wasting my time. I came in to see a Pomeranian ready to adopt him that day and buy him in full. However, the prices for not only a Pomeranian but all of their puppies were completely absurd. As a previous owner of a Pomeranian, I would say that the average price for a Pom is $2000-$4500. This place wanted $8,000 for a puppy which doesn’t even sound real. That is absurd…. They claim it’s because it comes with a package deal of surgery if the animal needs it , first trip to vet covered, ect. It isn’t an option to get this package, it is already included in the price. It is definitely not worth it. These poor puppies fate are determined because of this places overpriced money hungry prices. Also, although they offer payment plans it still is absurd to pay that price for a puppy. My heart sank when I heard that the corgis were $9,500. I will definitely try my best to have this place investigated for their practices, because from their prices alone I can tell they do not treat their puppies well. Their intentions are to make money off these innocent animals and not care for them in their small and crowded glass cages.RESPONSEAnd as to your response, that is bullsh*t. I have had purebred designer dogs my whole life and have never seen prices like yours. The lifetime package is comeptlley unnecessary. Pet insurance is only $20-30 a month. And your health plan is awful, I was in disbelief that you could fool people into buying it while I was at the store. All puppies find a family? The Pomeranian I saw was already 4 months old. That is because of your high prices and stupid ā€œhealth planā€ . It is unusual to see puppies that old in this type of place. You are in it for the money and don’t treat your animals well, overstuffed into glass cages and smell like urine.I ended up adopting from premier pups and could not be happier. They delivered him to me. Very reasonable prices and my puppy is amazing and healthy. They are also breeders who care. Unlike this establishment

Never again and one of my biggest regrets. This is the puppy version of the worst used car experience you can imagine. As with other reviews, it is true that the prices are exorbitant compared to anything! They do get you with the dog that you choose online or over the phone into a small cube. Once you have bonded, then they drop the mother load on you. Everything in me said run away...dogs in glass cages (just like a zoo), and when I asked about when they go out and how long they stay here, the answer was vague, uh, well, uh....I should have left then. But, we did it and the complications began almost immediately. I had to threaten a lawsuit when we got her home and discovered the next day she had a severe ear infection. The vet explained it was quite progressed and after a few hundred in emergency visit and meds, My Next Puppy claimed that it was all exempt per the contract. Finally after days and the obvious vet report to show this was clearly present before we took her home, the company sent a lousy $36 check. Since then we have been plagued with thousands in vet bills for UTI's, worms, and what was clearly an underfed and malnourished dog when we got her. Who knows what is next. We are barely 2 months into this nightmare! Our dog is adorable and sweet and we love her, so we will work through this to save her from My Next Puppy. Unfortunately this rescue from this horrible retail front comes at great cost, and I feel an obligation to warn everyone about this horrible business. They are slick with their pitch and fast to gloss over the amazing comprehensive medical coverage that is nonexistent. If you want further proof just look at their responses to the other customers in our same situation; My Next Puppy responds with the basic bad marketing lines of , "we feel so bad" and "we understand your pain and want to help," while they also point out their contract that would rival any rental agreement and some home closing docs I've seen. Don't avoid this place, run away! This is the first time that we did not adopt, and I will never make that mistake again.

The staff was lovely and very patient with me in the process of adopting my miniature schnauzer Cersei! My puppy is very energetic, lively, healthy and has really made herself a space in her new home. Thank you to the staff and Keara for all of her help in the process of contracts and medical updates on my baby girl.

So the place seemed great at the time but now I’ve found they get all their puppies from puppy mills. I looked up the breeder they got my puppy from and he was completely shut down due to abuse and being a puppy mill. My dog can’t be AKC registered because of it even tho they said he would be able to but the breeders aren’t AKC breeders and it’s a ridiculous amount of money for really no reason. I paid almost $5000 for my dog. But I’m the end I love him and he’s a great service dog so

The best experience ever! Allen was professional and friendly when we were making the appointment. Easy process that is safe for everyone!Once we got there, the experience got nothing but better. Jazmine helped my friend, who had lost her Yorkie of 15 years a month earlier, find the perfect dog! My friend went in thinking she wanted another male Yorkie and left with a little girl Bichapoo, almost 4 month old, now named Charlie!Thank you Allen, Jazmine and the rest of the staff at My Next Puppy for an AMAZING experience!

It broke our heart to leave behind a sweet mini Shepadoodle. our one-hour experience inside My Next Puppy was close to traumatizing. I knew from the moment we were ā€œgreetedā€ by a young girl (not sharing her name as a courtesy) at the front door something was off - not a very friendly welcome, and frankly she had a bit of an attitude. As shared in multiple other reviews, prices are not shared until you have spent time in the ā€œcuddle cubeā€ with the puppy for a period of time… $10,400 (including the 6% sales tax.) was the total cost to bring this 3 month old puppy home with us. The entire experience was very ā€œsalesy.ā€ The girl talking to us had clearly had general training on how to answer common objections and questions but seemed irritated with our questions and hesitation to move forward with the paperwork. maybe we would have had a better experience with another employee… they have a policy where you have to remain seated in the ā€œcuddle cubeā€ I don’t remember the reason. Maybe to not disturb the other dogs? I’ve seen in other reviews it was Covid protocols? I’ve also seen reviews that remaining seated limits your view of the glass ā€œcagesā€ lined up and down each side of the facility. Who knows.I can’t believe we actually considered putting the total amount on a credit card so we could walk out and just take the dog out of the facility and give it the good life we know we could give it. We finally decided against it because we knew in our hearts we couldn’t live with the fact that we helped fund this kind of business. After getting home and reading the pages and pages of reviews we know we made the right decision, however we are heart broken. I’m curious how the business will reply to my review …

I got a dog recently from here, she’s very clearly traumatized and has been abused. She is terrified of everything and her behavior is not normal puppy behavior. She exactly like a dog I rescued years ago who was maimed and abused when I first got her. I took her to the vet the day after getting her because she was extremely sick and bleeding a lot, the vet confirmed that she has deep bleeding caused by stressed that’s definitely been going on for a long time and very abnormal. The store of course gave us no warning about this and pretended she was in perfect health. I’m seriously worried for any the dogs who are still stuck there who knows what goes on behind closed doors

Charles was very courteous and patient with our family as we took our time looking at several dogs to potentially join our family. Furthermore, he was never pushy about making the decision to purchase one of them and he was very helpful throughout the financing process. We are in love with our most recent addition to the family. Thank you!

I drove from Rockville MD, and the weather was great. Although it was a 45 minute drive, upon arriving to MyNextPuppy we had the rules explained and were viewing puppies by our appointment time at 4pm.Darren and staff were very accomodating and helpful when it came to our questions about selecting the perfect dog to match my personality. We stayed for about 2 hours and I am taking home a dog that I match with perfectly. I certainly will return if I have any questions, or want to adopt again.

This place ruined the next 5 years of my life. They refused to tell me on the phone how much the puppies were so I drove 3 hours with my roommates to go look. Felt entirely pressured to sign up for a loan so I could get a dog (my fault for not bringing an actual adult with me). So I get a loan of $6000 and pay almost $2000 up front. Then the worst happens my puppy becomes terminally ill in just months. She required prescription food and medicine morning and night. As a 22 year old with a terrible paying job and bills to pay this was not what I needed but an expense I had to pay. A couple months go by and my puppy is doing worse. I take her to the vet she’s barely moving and they tell us she needs to be put down because she is suffering. I will now be paying on a dog that I do not have until 2025 because all this place will offer you is a replacement dog of ā€œequal or lesser valueā€ does it look like I want another dog? No I’m traumatized and so are my roommates and friends who had to go through it with me. I can’t say I regret my decision because I will forever cherish my time with that sweet angel but the fact that they won’t pay off my loan or offer an actual refund makes me sick I know they make plenty to do so.

Let me say this in the nicest way possible. If I could give no stars I would. This place is a mess might as well sell pigs. These people are thee worst of people in this world. They did nothing but rush. Wouldn’t even tell me a price until they went a grabbed paper work. They label there dogs full breed and they are not…. They couldn’t ā€œdiscloseā€ where the puppy even came from. They are shady and down rite rude.*Let me add as well this our dog. They have the same dog labeled as a full breed Pekingese and let me tell you it’s not. They wanted $9,500 for there’s I payed $750 for mine big difference.

Update: Thank you for your response Owner. Trust and believe this incident happened. Just review the tape. I was hoping for a lower price. I'll go elsewhere to get my puppy. I visited this location to see a Maltese puppy. They told me it was $8,500. That was way outside my budget. He was a 13 week old cutie but too expensive for me. They justified the cost based on the puppy's age. My boyfriend went the next day to see the same puppy and he also saw another puppy. The worker told him the cost for either puppy was $9,500. This could be looked at as discriminatory. How can the cost of puppies, who are now a day older, grow $1,000 over night? Can anybody explain?

Terrible smell, terrible service, TERRIBLE place. Sick puppies being sold for 3x their worth. Complete opposite experience at XO Pups only 1.5 mile away from MyNextPup. Please save your time and money. My heart goes out to the dogs and their caretakers. The sales team & owners should be ashamed of their predatory tactics. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN.

UPDATE:True to their MO with other customers, My Next Puppy refused to fully compensate us for our puppy’s care. Between the regular and ER vet, we paid close to $3000. My Next Puppy offered only $171. $171!Also, anyone paying attention to the reviews should note that the ā€œ5 starā€ reviews with no description are clearly fake and made to try to keep the overall rating above a 3. The reviews from customers like my family are the legit reviews. Another woman recently bought a dog and just like us, she reported that her dog has severe pneumonia. It’s unconscionable! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Like so many other people, we were duped by My Next Puppy. Every single concerned comment and review is spot on. They overcharge for the dogs they procure from puppy mills, they sell sick dogs for profit, and they won’t take responsibility for their actions. We bought our mini golden doodle on a Saturday night. The price was 3 times what the sales lady told me the average price was over the phone. By the next morning, our dog was coughing and sneezing and it quickly got worse - we took him to the vet the next morning and they said he had kennel cough. By Tuesday our dog wasn’t eating, became lethargic and the coughing was worse. We took him to the ER vet and they diagnosed him with severe pneumonia. They had to treat him overnight and could not guarantee he would make it. We have two kids who were very upset their new puppy was so sick. Thankfully the ER treatment helped, but he is still not out of the woods, as recent x-rays show his lungs are not clear. We asked My Next Puppy to pay for the ER bills and they refused, hiding behind their contract.Don’t be fooled by the ā€œ5 star reviewsā€ - they are clearly trying to mask the true reviews with fake ones. The exorbitant prices alone make it impossible for anyone to give a high rating.

We had a great experience getting our new puppy. Staff was really nice, helpful, and professional. I really liked that they gave us space to discuss things as a family and get to know the little puppy. We are completely in love with our smart, sweet little girl Lily (previously known as Sweetpea) she’s been home for 6 days now and everything is going great.

After my visit to My Next Puppy, I would not recommend anyone shop here. We almost felt bullied into purchasing a puppy. They operate by appointment only, which makes sense. However, we were asked if we were ready to take a dog home the same day multiple times without knowing any prices. We were able to meet an Aussiedoodle who had feces stuck in his fur (still asked us if we were ready to take him home). This puppy was 17 weeks old and was offered to us at $8,500. For $8,500, the poor guy could at least be clean. There were 2-3 dogs per kennel and the place smelled horrible. Not to mention, that there were employees standing around conversing instead of cleaning the place up. It makes sense why there are so many puppies because their prices are insane. When we told the employee that we wouldn't be purchasing we were asked, "Well, what's the problem?" We told her that he was the oldest and most expensive puppy we had seen that day and we needed a day to sleep on it. At this point, we were basically scolded for exposing the previous puppies we saw to all kinds of diseases. Overall, the experience at My Next Puppy was not ideal. I honestly feel bad for the puppies in there. Hopefully, they are able to find homes, but I doubt it with prices ranging from $8,000+.
