We’ve really been enjoying The Dog Stop events and sales but most importantly what keeps us coming back is the exceptional grooming services provided by Katie. She was the first groomer we met when moving to Centreville back in 2020 and she really is the best in the biz. Katie truly has a passion for the work that she does and can handle the most difficult cases of grooming anxiety. We trust her with our 10 year old Puggle who was recently diagnosed with IVDD. Thanks for all that you do and to The Dog Stop for keeping her close to us! 😊🐾

I've been coming here for a month now. The staff is extremely nice and caring. This is my first daycare for my first pup so I was very nervous at first. So far, Growli has been loving his time here.The location is very convenient. Pick up and drop off is very quick and efficient. Highly recommend trying it out as the first day is free (trial/behavioral). Prices seem fair and competitive, especially if you plan on getting a package.I haven't purchased their other services yet (grooming, boarding, etc) but they are definitely my first consideration if the time comes.

Macie LOVES to go to the Dog Stop for her monthly grooming appointment….Katie is the BEST! It is so clean inside too! I highly recommend the Dog Stop because they offer outstanding customer service.

We were excited when we saw The Dog Stop opening right across the street from where we live. We really enjoyed the grand opening & barksgiving event where our pups got to tour tour the facility. We’re even more exciting now to have our favorite groomer Katie on site. The Dog Stop is really a one stop shop. Thank you!

Champ and I can't get enough of The Dog Stop! From their friendly staff to their spacious play areas or yummy treats, they truly go above and beyond. Champ always comes back happy from all the fun activities they offer. Champ just need to hear “The Dog Stop” & he is ready to leave from home 🐶 It's a pawsome place that we highly recommend for all you fur needs!!🐾🌟

What great team! Joony had her second grooming session today w Cathy - Joony looks/smells/feels great (and the bandana...aww)! Extra: Joony is new to being around other doggies, and I'm a new doggy parent - I think Cathy saw the tired look on my face :) - so, Joony had an opportunity to test out the day care today, too! Toured the very clean facilities, and was able to watch Joony on the dogcam while enjoying lunch w family - the team at The Dog Stop are top notch, and they understand when pet parents need a break to re-energize , too! Joony was happy at pick up time, now having a good nap at home. She'll be back weekly for doggy day care, so Mom can get revitalized for when the doggy training resumes!

My 5 year old Shichons have been going to Katie for their entire lives. Katie is wonderful with both of them, while admittedly they do not like to be groomed. (They don’t like to be brushed by me either@). Katie understands them, is caring and a great groomer! She is also a wonderful communicator. I highly recommend Katie, you won’t go wrong!

I absolutely love our groomer Katie! Since we moved, The Dog Stop is much farther away from us, but nothing but the best for our Lucy. When we rescued Lucy, she was a fearful matted mess. Katie had her looking adorable in one groom. We get the Head to Tail service every six weeks and it is clear that Katie is patient and kind. Lucy’s whole body wiggles with excitement when she sees Katie. We have used Katie for three years now and just love her!

I stopped by on a Saturday to tour the facility and was able to meet the owner who was super nice! All of the rooms were clean and you can tell the staff really care about dogs here as if they're their own. They were able to answer all of my questions and I'm excited to have my dog do a free trial of daycare to see if it's the right fit. They also have a storefront where you can buy treats, kibble, etc. and there is a groomer on-site.

Outstanding customer service. We had a great experience for grooming ! The dog stop is a beautiful and very clean place. Owner of the TDS is supper nice and welcoming. Groomer listen to our request and Joey had a bear teddy bear haircut. Will surely come back :)

The Dog Stop Centreville is the 3rd establishment we’ve tried for boarding and by far our favorite! We love the care and enthusiasm the staff provides to Murphy, our 7lb toy goldendoodle. They have numerous play rooms with play-ramps and windows. We like that we can view Murphy on video in daycare and at night in his room. They offer 2 board room types, which are both large, private and have a bed vs a crate setup. Murphy is always excited when we drop him off. The staff also helped our picky eater to eat more regularly by recommending meal mixers. All around a great 1 stop shop that you can trust.

Katie has been taking care of my baby since he was 2 months. I’ve never felt comfortable with any other groomer besides her. Our pup looks forward to his visits and she accommodates to our schedules. We absolutely love Katie and will continue going to her as long as she’s in business!

We had a great experience! The staff was friendly and handled our dog with care. Our baby Lucky's coat was very matted, and they fixed it up expertly. We highly reccomend this place if you're looking for grooming services.

My Dog Loki is an anxious puppy fearful of other dogs. The wonderful team at the dog stop took the time to understand his personality and eased him into interacting with other dogs. He loves going there now. For me the place is clean and safe. He is very relaxed and happy when he comes home. And smells good too :-)

Though I’m a bit late in leaving this review, it’s important for me to share our wonderful experience. Akiro, our cherished mini Poodle, had his first stay at Dog Stop a few weeks ago, and it was nothing short of fantastic. What really set my mind at ease was knowing that the dogs are never left unattended in the playroom, with dedicated staff always there to supervise and interact. This level of care and attention made a world of difference to us. Akiro had an incredible time, returning home happy and well-exercised. We were so pleased with his experience that we’ve already booked our next daycare visit.

I recommend this Dog stop. I had a wonderful experience. It was our first time leaving our puppy on their hotel. I was a bit nervous, but I felt right from the start that my dog was in very good care. The staff was very caring and knowledgeable. Any time I called to check on her they were so receptive and also the camera, we were able to check on our dog. Best place to take care of our precious puppies. I highly recommend the Dog stop of Centreville.

We came here with my dog for a quick trim and it was amazing. Katie the groomer is super great and the staff at the front desk is super friendly. Bonus points because they foster dogs from local animal shelters like HART and Lucky Dog. Can't recommend them enough! :)

My dog has had the privilege of being cared for by the owners before they opened their doors to this The Dog Stop location. The owners are true dog lovers! I have found them to be the most responsible, trustworthy and conscientious dog care providers out there! This facility is an expansion of their passion. It is a gorgeous, spacious, light-filled building, even shaped like a stop sign — perfect for being a "dog stop"! It once was a pre-school building for children but now it is even better suited for our doggies! You can’t go wrong sending your dog there. They will get great care and services. Just watch for yourself through their online cameras as the dogs play…it is a happy place to be!

We love the Dog Stop! Everyone treats Mac and Cheese the leanest beagle and Johnse, the old man beagle corgi mix like royalty! They somehow come home smelling fresh and Mac and Cheese who never seems to get tired is always worn out from all his fun. The staff is top notch and we highly recommend!

My dog Freya loves coming here she can’t wait to get out the car as soon as she realizes where she’s at. At first I was a little scare to put her in daycare since she deaf but the staff completely made me feel at peace after seeing how they treated her from day one they are so patient and caring with her. they make sure she takes brakes thought the day since she can get very crazy and get multiple Zoomies thought the day and doesn’t know when to stop playing. And as a frenchie let’s just say her breathing isn’t the best at times. I also love that I can see her in camera when ever I miss her and it just brings a smile to my face seeing her have fun with all her new friends. I think what I love the most is the fact that they will ask me if I want Freya to have a exit bath at the end of the week or whenever she gotten to dirty from playing so hard. I’ve used that service a couple of times and she comes home smelling so good. And of course if she been a good girl at the of the week she makes sure to pick up a treat from their retail store. Definitely love this place they have everything you need for your fur baby all in one place. Thank you TDS for being so amazing and loving my girl like your own.

Our pup, Olive, travels all the way from Reston to get grooming services at TDS Centreville. The has a great time in the play room before and after her grooming. The facility is the best I have ever seen and they even give tours! That is unheard of! The place has been open for a short period and I haven't yet smelled that horrid ammonia/urine smell I have encountered at 95% of facilities. I commented on this and was told that the owners have installed a start of the art HVAC and UV system to combat the odor and maintain cleanliness! And, finally, can we talk about the retail space! Top of the line food, treats and toys. I will definitely be stocking up at our next grooming appointment.

The staff at this facility is exceptionally friendly and truly values our furry friends. Unlike other places, they don't rush you to bring your dog in for grooming within a set timeframe. My dog, who usually resists having her nails done, has had a wonderful experience thanks to Julie. No skin cuts, no uneven fur, and no signs of frustration.I've learned a lot about their daycare setup, where dogs are carefully placed in rooms tailored to their size and behavior. For dogs that prefer a more private setting, there's a designated room for them to enjoy and have a great time. The facility is impressively well-organized, complete with equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment, including bacteria-killing tools.Overall, they are doing an outstanding job, and I highly recommend their services.People in The Dog Stop, Please remain as good as you are.

The DogStop is an absolute gem  it’s one stop for all your needs. My dog Teddy, has been there three times, and I love the amazing job their groomer Julie does. Without fail each visit results with my dog looking great with a haircut that's consistently well-done & it's evident that the groomer takes great care and precision in their work. Not only does my dog look fantastic but he also smells wonderful.I also am very pleased at the clean and welcoming atmosphere at The DogStop. So like many others, we have been looking for a great affordable location for our dogs to play. Lately, our doggie daycamps have been steadily increasing in prices and have been adding "mandatory costs" onto packages that are forced upon people. The DogStop is a breath of fresh air. Their prices are great, but their facility is immaculate. My wife and I are very impressed by their professionalism and cleanliness of their location. We are excited to be able to bring our pups to this new daycamp. Also, as an added plus, our dogs are EXHAUSTED when they come home (which is always a great break for us :) ) Thanks DogStop!
