Food city has a great bakery and deli department they have speacils all the time they have everything from fresh cut meat to pizza to balloons to flowers amd plants service is good and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable the produce looks good and the store is clean they also offer shopping for you and all you do is come pick it up. I added some pictures of the inside they have a great selection of items that other places don't carry.

I have always liked Food City personally and it's usually the grocery I get most of my groceries from.. They have always been very kind and polite and they have pretty good sales at times, and I have always loved their deli! 😊

Not I impressed! The store stinks. The self check out person is always visiting. They don't seem to care about their customers at self check out! The regular registers that are manned by checkers are much better.

Food was overcooked or burnt at deli. I asked if any fresh be added anytime soon and was told NO. Food left on bar so long it's dried out. Broccoli and carrots wasn't even refilled. Meatloaf was BURNT!!!!! Hope things change soon. Beef stew ( or whatever it was supposed to be) was even DRIED on the serving spoon. Was told this place is more than just a DELI.Step it up and remember... If it wasn't for the customers.... You wouldn't have a job. Be Nice and polite. MAKE THE CUSTOMERS HAPPY!

The workers are rude and snotty. Mostly they ignore you or gossip about you. They think they are better than you. Way over priced. And the store stinks like strong Fish odor.

Look forward to their weekly deals, especially the meat...5 post for 19.99, Fridays 14.99. The seafood department is always fresh & well stocked...I also use they're pharmacy & they are great with my medication management..there's a Starbucks inside, a small sit down eating area.The only thing I'd like to see is reducing the hot food after 4-5pm to avoid the dried up & unsightly left overs versus the full price of the undesirable food left in the pans. I always enjoy going there overall...

At approx 6:05PM on Sunday 10-8-23. I went into Claypool Hill Food City to buy Starbucks and shop for Groceries. I observed an employee that was standing behind the counter at Starbucks using a Marker like object to rub/touch her face, arms, neck areas which I found disgusting and unsafe in a food prep area. I asked to speak to the store manager, the manager said they would look into it and gave me no further details. Ended up going to McDonalds.

Deli is awesome, they always make cookie sandwiches for me that they don't normally make, when asking for the specialty item they are always nice and accommodating. Everything is always so fresh. It's my go-to grocery store now!

This is like my local HEB....(I am from Texas) cheaper than Walmart and always a sale going on (with a member card...which is free and easy to sign up for) we love their frog legs!

Love Food City and the selection that they offer. If you like to cook and picky about your ingredients this is the place to go. Great seafood and beef offerings at the butcher shop and a plethora of fresh fruit and veggies.

I work for doordash...I had an order to pick up in the floral department...the 2 lady's there where the best an so nice nice plz forgive me I can only remember the one lady's name but not the other one I apologize for that but the one lady name was Tonya but both of the lady's where amazing.. keep up the great work and staying so positive and so friendly..see u lady's soon...stay safe guys an everyone!!!!

Nothing personal to this store, I have been treated with professional courtesy the few times I have been there. But I believe the prices are way too high unless they are having a sale on a given item, always kind of hated this store along with all food city's just about and I'm honestly not sure why. But as far as the deli, they have great food, and their produce section seems to always have truly fresh meats, and willing to cut it to your liking on most meats, however I'm not much of a grocery shopper and no idea what prices for whatever items are normal compared to what's over priced and that being said, it's sad when I think that food city is more of a rich people, or upper class grocery store. For not necessarily the wealthy, but those making more then enough money.

My groceries were great except for one thing. The watermelon was not sweet. Tasted almost bitter, as if it had not ripened. The cheese and meat were great. All the extras I purchased were good.

Despite the large neon sign on the building, reading "Open Till Midnight", they close at 11:00pm. However, the staff was nice & they have more flavor options for Kool-Aid than any other large retailers.

I called them and spoke about a large chicken dinner. I was in belief that it would be hot and fresh. Went to pick it up and they served the cold they had for sell in the cooler. My Advice: Do not go to Food City for a hot, fresh chicken dinner

The store was clean, the staff was nice and helpful, and the displays were tasteful done. The bakery is my favorite one.I also enjoy the salads, especially the chicken and cheese balls ... more sales on these items... FC is a great place to unwind...

Food City is my main food store. That being said, I suppose the quality of customer service depends on which store you go into! I live in a more populated area but I'm often in Richlands visiting. Most of the employees attempt to be pleasant but there are those that seem to struggle to be courteous....

We eat at the deli food cafeteria and more times than none when we get our food it is Cold or the presentation of the bar looks unappetizing. So we choose to get grill orders instead. Like I said, "more times than none," the bar is this way. Please investigate this matter and correct it please.P.S. I've seen people walk off because of this.

The pharmacy staff at the Claypool Hill location go above and beyond to assist me with my father"s medication. While this store is not in my home area, if it were, they would certainly have my business. Wonderfully caring employees, not only in the pharmacy, but also the deli and the entire store.

This place has it all and good prices. Specials running all the time and a good selection of fresh produce. The butcher at the meat section will custom cut and meat you need. The floral section is a great place to get your floral arrangements.

Purchased a birthday cake Saturday the 20th. Great cake. Very nice people to deal with at the bakery. Even the checkout clerks went out of thier way to help with my overflowing buggy. Top of the line people.

They have a huge selection! Fast and friendly service in every department (even in the pharmacy!). Produce and meats are always fresher than the other local grocery stores. Also the best place to get a cake (always delicious!).
