Great experience, pricing was fair. I wish there was more activities to do. But the did have a really cute area on the farm with bunnies you could check out. Very fun would recommend if you’re looking for a small day trip to pick your own lavender.

Lovely farm with lots to do for kids. My toddler loved the bunnies. Also the staff was so friendly and helpful. My youngest dropped her water bottle in the lavender patch and I didn't notice until we had walked back to the front and the woman helping us offered to go and find it so I didn't have to which was so nice!!

this place is gorgeous and the owners are so kind. i ended up grabbing close to 30 stems of lavender so my bunch was fuller, but the first 20 are free! lavender lemonade and cupcakes were great. don't forget to stop by the little shop before leaving, they have lavender honey, coffee beans, syrups, and jams. have already recommended the location to coworkers and patients.

This is a quaint farm. Nonetheless, it is very picturesque, serving as the perfect way to get away from the city. I spent about an hour here, splitting my time between taking photos and picking lavender. The staff members were helpful, teaching me how to pick the lavender and make various food items from the sprigs. 20 stems of lavender are included with each ticket purchase. Be advised there are bees, but they weren't a bother for me. I'd recommend this as a fun activity for people of all ages.

It was good but below my expectations. I expected this farm to have more things to do as it was described at the website. They did have bunnies and face arts and some food selling booths but they weren't as good as I thought.Lavender farm was smaller than i thought and it was at its full bloom either or there weren't many left after being picked up.They have pottys only. Gift shops were okay but I didn't like the products quality. Like the linen spray and body lotions had very mild scent and not as moisturizing. If you are visiting here only for lavender pickings, it's good but if you expect other activities or expect the facilities to be modern, this isn't for you.

This place was SO cute and a nice little afternoon trip! The staff is so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend trying the lavender lemonade! It’s a $6 entry that includes 10 stems of lavender. It smelled absolutely divine on the fields ! Cute place for pictures !

I've visited the farm five different years, and it gets better and better every year. Although it does not look like the website, it is still a beautiful farm in the country, and a great way to spend the day. On one of my first visits, two friends and I brought our picnic lunch. We set up under a large shade tree (on one of their many picnic tables) and enjoyed the serenity of the surroundings and our lunch before we picked our lavender. April spent several minutes explaining the various types of lavender, and took the time to take a group photo of us. We enjoyed a candle making demonstration, homemade lavender infused lemonade and treated ourselves to some of the lovely gifts in their gift shop. On my most recent visit with younger friends and their daughter, we set up on the porch and enjoyed the picnic lunch we brought. Their daughter entertained herself on the many kid friendly activities: playhouse, sandbox and slide are just three of the popular activities. We took many scenic photos. It was a wonderful visit; I will be coming back!

The trip was absolutely worth it. Upon arrival you are kindly greeted. They have a shop right in front, with a bunch of delicious homemade goodies like lotions and candles. They even have lavender/honey ice cream inside for purchase! Definitely worth going inside and taking a long and buying some things. Next, you go into the fields and it’s so nicely set up, they have different baskets of shapes and sizes, scissors for adults and kids and even bug catchers.I love that they teach you how to cut the lavender—plus, you’ll see a bunch of bumblebees and honeybees pollinating so don’t be alarmed!Lastly, their lemon lavender cupcakes are to DELICIOUS, with a side of lemonade!! You can’t go wrong with a break from cutting lavender to enjoy their amazing cupcake and beverages. It was a lovely experience and the owners are even better.

Very pretty and quaint farm and experience. The costs to pick lavender and wildflowers were lower than I expected, and there was also a booth serving lemonade and a few snacks. Wonderful place to take photos, and the little gift shop is a gem filled with a variety of lavender and lavender related goods.

Lovely lavender farm and wonderful products for sale — linen sprays, bug spray (which is incredible), cookies, chapsticks, stuffed animals for kids, teas, lotions, AMAZING homemade ice cream, and loads more. They have an area that has a legitimate playhouse for kids and picnic tables and chairs around the farm. We buy the lavender pass for the season and love it.

Farm was nice but unfortunately this is not the time for lavenders to bloom. The season for lavender is June and July. They usually have a short season. You will get couple other flowers. At farm site they offer lavender lemonade and cupcakes. Lemonade was nice. They also have a lavender shop which smells amazing.

This was a nice, little gem. I love lavender, I mean LOVE IT. I wanted to go to this farm for years but always missed the season. I'm glad I finally made it and planned it because of the Juneteeth holiday so I could come on a Sunday and stay near. I was able to pick 20 lavender stems. They had lavender lemonade. It had a mild lavender flavor. The lemon lavender cupcake was scrumptious. I also got lemon lavender cookies. I made a satchel filled with lavender. I was told it should last for years. There's a store with all kinds of lavender scented products. They had little stuffed animals with lavender around the animal for relaxation. I got one for my 12 year old daughter. I got an eye mask. I was told grandma made them by hand. They can used warm from microwave or cold from the freezer. I would definitely recommend this place. Oh... before I left, a lady gave us lavender biscuits free. She said since it was getting slow, she loved giving away things at the end of the day. There are only 2 portable potties for toilet use. There are plenty of seats for relaxation. This place is pure tranquility.

Relaxing, calm, quiet, serene are all words to describe Seven Oaks Lavender Farms. You can pick your own lavender or herbs or enjoy a picnic lunch on the property sipping lavender lemonade while indulging in a lavender frosted cupcake.

Convenient, small fun. It is convenient for DMV, only 40 minutes from Fairfax. We visited on July 1st and the lavender is pretty good. There are some other flowers as well. However the field is quite limited. Don't expect something like those big picturious fields. It is probably only a few acres. Maybe good for one-hour fun.Keep your expectations in check and you should be fine.

Such a great spot for kids and families! I have brought my daughter every year since she was 18 months old, and at 6 she’s an expert. Ample fields of lavender to pick, herbs, other flowers, homemade lavender treats, even several bunnies—there’s something for everyone! There’s also a play spot for kids, which is a huge draw. Even with closures and restrictions for COVID-19, they’re doing a great job getting people here and cleaning things/maintaining social distancing. Love this place!

Lovely surprise first time visit (Let's go for a drive, honey...)The staff was friendly, informative, and patient. The farm was beautiful and very interesting. We left with a bunch of lavender, several boxes of herbs that we picked ourselves, and baked goods from the gift shop.A great outing and we'll definitely return!

Lovely little farm. Ideal for a quick relaxing day out. You can pick flowers that are in season, enjoy their lavender lemon cupcake and lemonade, or shop at their store. You can purchase your tickets through their website or when you get there. They also accept cards for payment. It’s not a huge farm but the owners are nice and the place is very relaxing. I highly recommend their cupcakes and lemonade! Checkout their website for more info.

10/10 - recommend!! My friend and I drove from DC, just about an hour drive. A very sweet man explained all the lavender and herbs they offered. We enjoyed lavender lemonade and cupcakes at grandma’s porch. Such a nice change of scenery from the city.

We had a very nice visit here yesterday; a stroll around the garden and a little shopping in the gift store. The lavender lemonade was excellent. You only need to allow an hour or so to see everything. There is a Groupon that will save you a little money.

A wonderful place for a tea party! The tastings of tea & lavendar recipe treats were great. The history of the farm & uses of lavendar were interesting. It's truly a perfect tea party, even if you aren't a tea lover.

This was just something different to do. Everyone was very helpful and my mother had a great time. She enjoys plants so she was in her element. Wasn't too much to the place as far as activities but it was still a nice experience.

I have been visiting this farm since I was a kid, and each time made wonderful memories! Best lavender farm I've been to in the region!

Visited during the post lavender season so it was just $3 to cut as much lavender as we wanted! I believe during lavender season you cut a certain amount for that price. The lavender still smells amazing and they have plenty of other flowers you can cut too (+$0.50 per bloom when we went). We stopped by the shop on our way out and grabbed some lavender honey ice cream and lavender lemonade which were amazing!! They have tons of other goodies there too, delicious smelling lotions, honey, teas etc. We spent about an hour and a half there and was well worth the visit, cannot recommend enough!
