They consistently fail to have orders filled in a reasonable time. Doctor can send script at 9am and at 4pm they still haven’t even looked at it. Many times they don’t fill until customer comes in first and ask for it. Then they say you have to come back. Oh! And you come back two hours later and still they haven’t touched it!! When you question how this happens they give you the “I don’t know?” “We’re busy” answer typically w and attitude. They are consistently late opening and offer no apology to those waiting in line. I guarantee, incorrect prescriptions are coming out of there. There’s no way a pharmacy with this much disorganization and dysfunction cannot be making dangerous mistakes. I have never seen a pharmacy this bad!!!UPDATE! Don’t call number provided in their auto response. It’s not CS . It’s a sales scam for Home Alert. What a joke!!

This location used to be fantastic, I recommended them to everyone. Over the past few months it has gotten to where they never answer the phone, you will sit on hold for forever, and they are always having to order my prescriptions. I always have to wait a day or sometimes more to be able to pick up. Tonight, they gave my husband two long acting insulin pens instead of the 12 that should’ve been given all together. How does that happen? We were never notified. He went to the grocery store after picking up which took about an hour then gave them to me at home.. to my surprise there were exactly TWO. ? Again, no call to tell us of their mistake. He walks in and they had them under the register inside, waiting for him I presume? They literally have numbers on them showing how many go along with the two in the bag…?(1of3/2of3/3of3) I understand that things happen, but I am concerned for those customers that don’t know to check the amounts and then the pharmacy is shorting them without making them aware. We are going to have to find a pharmacy that gives accurate times on when prescriptions will be ready as my husband was told last night that they’d be ready this morning so I drove there and they said they’d be ready around 5:30 -6pm and of course they don’t answers the phone so we continue to waste our time and gas. This pharmacy has started to go to the wayside and it’s really quite sad.

This review has nothing to do with the Carrollton location themselves, it’s for Rite Aid as a corporation. In the past, Carrollton was the best service around, I’ve been a customer for years, they’re fantastic. However, Rite Aid, why on earth would you close a location, transfer an entire store worth of prescriptions to a location that is already overwhelmed, understaffed but always doing their best, without factoring in a systematic, logistical approach needed to make this process seamless?? It’s a complete managerial failure on your part. There are countless people whose overall health rely on getting routine prescriptions on a regular basis, not to mention urgent care transfers, etc. And, cherry on top, the pharmacist is also expected to administer vaccines in the midst of the chaos. DO BETTER RITE AID!!!Sincerely,I’ve been waiting over a week for my regularly filled script and have spent 3 hours of my life “3rd on hold.” Still waiting…

The pharmacy is unprofessional and doesn't have the ability to be proactive. My doctor sent a prescription to be filled Thursday, and that afternoon it wasn't ready. The next morning Jasmine tells me come back Monday, after I told her how urgent I need my heart medicine. Only after being there for nearly 90 minutes another associate provided me with the meds.Another incident occurred when I was told my meds would be ready that afternoon, but when I arrived I was told my medications would be ready the next day. I arrived the next day to discovered this Rite Aid didn't have the meds I needed in stock. This pharmacy is not proactive at all. I could had the prescription sent to another pharmacy the day before if these people had their act together.

If you’re expecting them to answer the phone in the pharmacy , don’t count on it. Then you when you go see if your prescriptions are ready you have to wait at least 30 minutes in a line and get ignored at the window. I’m not sure what happened to this location used to be my favorite. Customer service is horrible and extremely unprofessional. I wouldn’t give this place a one star.

I get it that the pharmacies are busy and typically understaffed. I’m waiting to get vaccines and there are 10 people around the pharmacy needing help. The person behind the counter was very short tempered. I understand but please try to be a little polite. Wouldn’t hurt.Got my vaccines and they were on time with appt. Lady was very nice and friendly. I revise my review.

I have filled prescriptions and bought general healthcare supplies and medications here for several years. They are always courteous and prompt. Prescriptions have always been accurate and ready when promised. I have gotten various vaccines here, too, and they always get it done in a few minutes.EDIT 1/23/24Stopped by yesterday and walked in about 11 to pick up a refilled prescription. I was 3rd in line and it took 30 minutes with 6 people working in the pharmacy. One person was working a register for inside customers. When I left, there were 6 or 7 people in line behind me. I am sorry to see this happening in my favorite pharmacy. I'll give it a couple more tries. Then it will be time to move on.

Nice to know that Rite Aid’s pharmacy is now closing at 5pm on Saturdays. This location absolutely SUCKS. People continue to say oh cut them some slack they’re doing the best they can. I’ve cut them slack for months, I was understanding but at this point I’m done. The idea that there are customers needing scripts to survive and they aren’t able to get them due to the pharmacy closing an hour earlier than they had been for years is so incredibly INSANE! Also the hours were updated TWO WEEKS AGO according to Google which I’m assuming was this change, which no one notified customers of the change. I guess that would be silly to assume they would and they don’t even have the decency to answer the phones. Absolutely asinine establishment.

I've always been a walgreens customer however after moving to carrollton I decided to give rite aid a try. At first it was amazing. They always had my meds, and they always answered the phone. I called 10 times yesterday as I was not able to drive up there one time of which I let the phone ring for 10 min. Nobody answered. I started calling at 10 am and stopped around 830 pm. This is very disappointing 😞

Been a Rite Aid customer for decades, but think it may be time to make a switch. Just to try and talk with someone on the phone to see if they have a prescription that’s been sent it, on hold at least 25 minutes. Also tried the delivery option on a Rx recently, said it was coming via USPS, and never came. Went to the store and it was sitting right there. 🤷♂️. Not sure why the decline in care but it’s a shame.

Probably the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I have never witnessed such a dysfunctional pharmacy until we moved here. The techs are all under trained with no experience. Im not even sure if they actually do anything all day because prescriptions don't get filled, they dont answer the phones, and from prior reviews they lose perscriptions. My issue: The "technician" couldn't look up my sons name in the system and kept insisting he didn't have a profile, eventhough we filled the original prescription there. Eventually she found it with someone elses help. I requested a refill 5 days ago and it never got filled. And I've been on hold for50 minutes and nobody answered the phone. I can't wait for publix to open so Carrollton has another pharmacy.

Never a smooth experience. After being at the doctors office today around noon, I come to pick up medications at 7:20 pm and they are not processed. I’m told to come back or wait 30 minutes. After waiting I’m then told it will be an additional 15 to update my insurance information that had not been done yet, then a additional 20 to reprocess my order. I just don’t understand.

I use to like this Pharmacy but lately they are not ordering meds when they say they are. I shouldn't have to wait 3 days for a medication that comes in Tuesday morning 8:30 am and not be ordered till Thu night after going there 3 times to make sure they ordered it .Time to find a new Pharmacy

So I’m not a big fan of the pharmacy overall. They are backed up and can be rude at times, but I did just get my flu shot from Richard and he was great. He was nice and quick, can’t ask for anything more

Guess customers/patients aren't important enough to answer the phone for 4 days now. Go in only to find out they aren't answering because they are busy...guess what, we are all busy and having to chase down meds is just insane!!customer service has requested I contact their 800# 🤣 it's automated and no one answer it either.

After a nightmare ordeal with the Rite Aid in Smithfield, we opted to have our scripts sent to this location. In comparison, this location is heads and tails above the other with regards to customer service and filling our scripts. Staff was very friendly, both in the pharmacy and front counter. We will be using this location going forward.

Please believe EVERY bad review that you read! If I could give the pharmacy a 0, I would. Not only are the pharmacists rude, but they have lost my prescriptions several times AND once when I had it filled, paid for the medication through their Pay N Go, when I arrived to pick it up, NO ONE seemed to know where my medication was and had to reorder it. This took 2-3 days because they do not owe it in stock!If you are looking for a pharmacy with great customer service, answer their phone and you can get your medication in a timely manner, THIS IS NOT THE STORE for you!

This place is just as bad as the CVS I just stop going to in Smithfield. I have called many times at different hours of the day and no one has ever answered the phone. Staff seems aggravated and annoyed when you go there. Pay online and go to pick up prescription and they don't have payment. Is this just because we live in the country or what? Pharmacies in this area are awful. This one included

Turned off the phones in the pharmacy, couldn't get through all day. Drove all the way down to have them tell me that they won't do the leg work to find where my script is. "Its the customers job to call the doctor!" OK buddy, but my doc has been trying to call YOU in the pharmacy for the last 4 hours and it's YOUR JOB TO ANSWER THE PHONE!.

Telling people you can't let them know if you have a medication is a ridiculous thing to say. Saying its policy, when I've been informed at previous times and by other rite aids is just completely uncalled for!! This is 1 of the many reasons plenty of people go elsewhere!!

Can not get prescription orders right and sometimes not at all! It is mid July and STILL waiting on Blood Pressure medication order called in by my Dr. several times Since June!!!! Some staff are Rude and snippy. Although I found there to be one staff very nice, personable and helpful and is their only asset! (Wish you well dear!)I’m moving on before they kill me!🤒😷🤕😵💫

Just switched to this location from the Smithfield one, and wow what an amazing difference. They actually answered the phone and even helped get my account back in order which had been a multi month ordeal. Also filled my script in just a few hours. I’m glad this is my new pharmacy thank y’all!** I think some of these negative reviews are confusing this location with the Smithfield one up the street. This place is night and day different.

This pharmacy used to be one of the best in the area and now it’s the worst. it takes 2 to 3 days to get your medication ready .And 10 to 15 minutes in line to get it .

I paid for my prescription and went to the drive thru to pick it up. I went through the process and the young man put my prescription in the drawer not in the basket pushed the button so that I could retrieve my prescription and it fell straight on the ground. I looked at him and then he finally says oh I'm sorry I never had that happen before so he says the temporary manager said that it was probably alright. I told no that is not acceptable and probably just won't do I need a real manager so that I understand what will happen if the glass is shattered. To make a long story short I will never use the drive thru again especially since he didn't put my package in the tray to keep it from rolling out onto the ground.

I have been coming here for years and have always been greeted upon entering the store. The Pharmacy staff have always been professional, even if there were problems with my Rx. They even found a way to save me money over an above my insurance plan. I moved all my Rx from my previous pharmacy to this store. Everyone has bad days and less than optimal encounters, but so far I've been very happy with this location.

This Rite Aid is excellent. Clean, Courteous and professional. There is always someone in the front to greet you and help you if you need to find anything. David the pharmacist is excellent as well as the technicians. I’m extremely happy to have such a great pharmacy right near my home. Most of the customers always seem to be very patient during these trying times, unfortunately there will always be a few who aren’t.

I'll call the pharmacy for over 20 minutes and nobody answers the phone. It just rings off the hook. Basic customer service at this place is pathetic.
