Took my German Shepherd with lots of hair and 94 pounds. Bob did a great job with her. The time to pick up was less than 2 hours. Very happy with my service. The price is the highest I've ever paid. I am new to the area. All previous services were in Richmond. I will return.

Apparently my dog is scared of the blow dryer so they could not finish. Called me to get him and when I got there I was yelled at by the "owner" because his card wasn't filled out by the last groomer, how is that my fault. Took him straight to a another groomer a friend recommended and she brushed him out used a blow dryer (he reacted like you think a dog would) and made me a apt. Horrible customer service they couldn't talk to me at all the owner just kept yelling after I asked her to stop.

A great neighborhood pet store. We love shopping here for our GSP. They have high quality dog supplies and the staff are always friendly! We feel very lucky to have such a great store so close to our home. We highly recommend coming here for any pet supply needs.

I'm glad I discovered this place. It truly is a pet paradise. They have everything you could possibly want for your pet. And they also have an excellent awards program. I just wish it was a bit closer to where I live.

This is a great store. Every time I go into this store and I need help finding something or need suggestions on what product would be best to use, there's always someone there that can help me. I'm glad they are close to where I live instead of going over the bridge to Petco, Petsmart, or any other pet store.

Every time I come in for my cat's Primal, the staff is very friendly and helpful! They handle all of my questions professionally, and when I ask for personal insight they tell me what they can! When they first realized I was becoming a regular, the usual cashier asked me questions getting to know the pets I was feeding. Made me feel like they genuinely care about the health of my fur babies, and they never try to oversell you on products!! I drive 30 minutes just to shop here.

Love this place and the employees who work here. I've been bringing my blue pit mix here for 6 years to get her nails trimmed, teeth and ears cleaned. They are quick and efficient. They have a great variety of treats, toys, collars, leashes, harnesses, beds, food, bowls, anything and everything you can imagine for your fur baby. Now they even have CBD oil's for animals and humans. Two locations. One in Carrollton and one in Virginia Beach.

It's a locally owned pet shop that also offers grooming. The team there is super friendly and the owner was great in how she approached my dog who is typically skittish. They have a great variety of high end dog food and plenty of unique dog treats.

I had won a pet bed in a contest at the MUTT STRUT and having a full time job working 55+ hours a week i just checked my messages a week later and they said that they gave it to someone else, that's really disappointing especially because as soon as i heard it this morning i got really excited that my baby boy would have a new bed since he had gotten sick on in the other day and tore it up because he wasn't feeling well so thank you so much because you only called once and left one message not stating that there was a time frame to pick it up. Shop employee was rude when returning an item . Was told by other employee when purchasing a cone for our senior dog with two children in tow - keep the receipt and returns are within 30 days . Today went to return , as we did not need to thankfully use it , and was told that it was only store credit or exchange . It was listed on bottom of receipt and two signs (one of which was covered up by a toy). The store is not that busy for their employees to mention to keep the receipt but too busy to mention it would be in store credit . Never would have bought the merchandise to begin with due to the situation of not knowing whether our dog would need it. Suggest not using return and say store credit provided within 30 days of purchase , or highlighting the receipts and using a bigger font and placement for your policies.

Pet Paradise are amazing, expensive for collars and toys. But the employees are very sweet and helpful every time I go in. I get medicine there for my hounds hotspot. And the employee sat there and went over options with me explaining each one and what they do. And my baby hotspot has cleared up which is awesome, saved me a trip to the vet!!!

I’ll start by stating that I’ve been a customer of Pet Paradise in Carrollton for about 2 years now. And I’m going off the overall experience I’ve had at the place.The front desk greeting/helpfulness is hit or miss depending on, I’d imagine, the person on duty. Overall they have been if not warm and welcoming, but reasonably accommodating.The point at which my overall satisfaction started to suffer was when I started noticing materials supporting very partisan agenda appearing at the front desk. I am all for freedom of speech, and I can’t say I personally was offended to the point where I’d stop going there as a customer, but I was puzzled why a small business would want to risk losing or offending at least 50% of their clientele at this hyper divided day and age.The tipping point for me came when mask mandate was introduced, and all customers were required to wear a mask inside, the personnel of the store still refused to wear masks, even when helping customers, potentially putting their customers at risk. Not only it’s dangerous and disrespectful, but it also makes you wonder what other safety and public health standards might be considered “optional” at this Pet Paradise. What other safety or sanitation requirements might be violated? Anyway, pets can’t go on Google and leave a review about how they are being treated, and so, I’m afraid I lost my confidence and won’t be supporting this place of business any longer and won’t hesitate to advise others against supporting it if asked.Another consideration I’d like to add, I know that this is the time when a lot of small businesses are struggling because of the COVID restrictions, and I try to be a supportive customer whenever I can, but in this case I will be turning to online retailers. It makes no sense why any business would be so careless about keeping their customers.

One of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. Everyone was helpful and attentive. I got free samples of dog food to ensure my dog did well with it before purchasing. Also informed me of coupons available. I live all the way in Portsmouth but will be returning to shop here for my pet's supplies moving forward. Thank you!

She answered every single question I had about my rescue dog usually before me even asking. She had the best advice also on how to make my dog more comfortable in situations that are scary for him. Im so thankful for her!

Our pup has gone through some pretty dramatic changes, and wasn't eating her dog food anymore. They were great about recommendations for food and helping us find something the dog would like, even toy recommendations (although, the dog was still able to chew through what we got, but that's standard of any toy for this power chewer lol). Great store that genuinely cares about your pet!

I will never bring my dog here for grooming ever again. First, they kept my dog in a kennel for 7 hours to get groomed. Second, it does not appear that they even groomed him. I requested a golden trim and all I can see is they bathed him and trimmed his nails. I was initially given a time frame of 4 hours until he would be ready. After the 4 hours passed, I had to call to check in and the people answering the phones continued to say that other dogs could come in and it would push back the other dogs grooming. This is unacceptable. If my dog was groomed, maybe I would understand, but this was nowhere near worth the 75$. I would not recommend this place for grooming to anyone.

GREAT store!!! I love that they are locally owned. They are very knowledgeable about their products and brands, which is very important to me. I have noticed a huge difference in my cats by feeding them better quality foods; their kidney levels actually improved! And they are happier on good food, too. I moved out of the state of Virginia over a year ago and still call Chris for animal communication. She is amazing!! Helped me fix behavior problems that 3 veterinarians could not solve. She is amazing and I don't know what we would do without her. If your pet is having a behavioral problem, or you just want to know more about them, call her!! It's cheaper than the vet and many times more effective.

they always place special orders for me if they don’t have my dog’s food in stock and always update me on when they receive my order. and since i’m a college student, they always work with me on pickup day/time! love this place and i travel because their customer service is always 10/10!

They’ve cut my dogs hair before, and they actually did a pretty good job the first time. Which is why we brought him back a 2nd time. They must have changed ownership or they hate their jobs bc they refused to cut his hair the 2nd time. I understand he’s got extreme anxiety, but we loaded him up with anxiety meds prior to the appointment. The older guy is a huge jerk and has no people skills. Rude on the phone and rude to my wife when he saw that it had been over a year since they cut his hair. What does that have to do with anything? He’s been professionally groomed by another business recently, but bc THEY didn’t do it, they had it in their heads that they couldn’t groom him. Lazy, rude and incompetent!!!

I get my dog food from here every week (feeding a pack of four 100lb+ pups) and they are worth the 40 minute drive. They always have my food in stock and are incredibly friendly. When I switched to a different feed formula they don't keep in stock often they told me to let them know when I needed it so they could order it for me and have it ready. They have an array of great products and I love supoorting a local business. Highly reccomend!
