Staff is really nice but the store needs repairs. Recently got a self-check out but the front door has been broken for almost a year now, customers have to pry it open to get into the store. Kinda tells you a lot about the owner’s priorities.

Over all the store seemed to be well stocked, and employees seem friendly. That being said do not use this location for FedEx package pick ups. Had a purchased item shipped here, choosing a FedEx location instead of my address and they decline the package. Ship to an actual FedEx location or a Walgreens for package pick up, not dollar general. Their explanation makes no sense as to why they declined the package, and are unreliable as a parcel pick up location. Both me and the sender can’t make any sense of it.

Genuinely the best, cleanest, and well managed Dollar General I've ever been to.The store manager (or whoever is actually running it) should be a District or Regional because they'd have DG reputation fixed in a few months.

Very limited stock yet crowded with too much stuff. The aisles are small and tight. The store's set up is awkward and not conducive to customers moving around comfortably. The customer service was great though. The associates were very nice and knowledgeable of where items were in the store.

I frequent this location often and I can definitely say this is a great doller general. The people are kind and patient. The selection is like a mini Walmart. The snacks are top tier!

Location is very convenient and there is a wide variety of items to choose from. The store is also always clean and well maintained. Most of the clerks are polite and helpful. The only negative comment I have would be the seemingly unnecessary wait. There have been several times when multiple clerks or managers are working, but for some reason there is only one cashier working. Even when there is a long line. Costomers do not seem to come first...but should. Workers should stop what there are doing and open another line. Other than that, it is a great place to shop. I updated my rating from a 3 star to a 2 star. The blatant disregard for the customer's time is a huge problem that has gotten worse over the year.

Not much to tell. It was a while before I actually knew anyone was working in the store. No one greets you, or offers to help find anything. I am handicap but thank goodness my daughter was with me to help me. It wasn't until I went to the cash register that I figured out someone was there. Lack of customer service skills.

Love this DG it’s conveniently located not to mention the manager I forget her name but she is awesome she always greets me and my kids when she sees us and we come here often to pick up stuff if I need it quick. The staff there is pretty nice and professional as well the store is clean too!!

Digital coupons haven't worked for me in 2 weeks. They say nothing can be done about it at the store level. Can't use the digital coupons again even if the transaction has been voided to try another location.

Dollar General stores are known not only for their affordable prices on brands we use daily but also for the clutter as they seem to be trying to bring in more merchandise than the store can hold and under staffed most of the time causing rolltainers to come in and just sit but this location has just undergone a much needed renovation and it looks great the staff is great.

This is our Dollar General of choice. The store is immaculate and the manager and staff are second to none. The store is always organized and fully stocked. Awesome job store team.

This location is relatively new and has a ton of stuff in it from groceries to candy to toys. The atmosphere is dark (probably to keep costs down so they can keep prices low) and the service is good.

Today was my 2nd time shopping at Dollar General - I was buying supplies in preparation of Hurricane Florence. There were empty clorox boxes in an aisle to be recycled - naturally I thought I could have 4 boxes to pack can goods in for easy transfer to my car as we evacuate tomorrow. When I got to the register, the staff told me "they cannot give me the boxes because they have to recycle them." For a moment, I thought I was being punked. I spent $67 at this store, and they prefered to take the boxes from me to recycle them. Dollar General has now lost a customer for the price of 4 old boxes. There is such a thing as word of mouth advertising...from now on, when I see a DG I will recall this experience. Well, back to shopping at Walmart, Target, etc. DG will never get another $1 from me and my family, and I have a lot of dollars.

I'm giving the 4 stars for the gentlemen working last night at the Carrollton branch because I get no cellular service in that are and my DG coupons NEVER WOrk. The guys honored the coupons for me as a courtesy which stopped me from leaving everything I was buy in the store. You have to fix your DG rewards system because it's not just the Carrollton, VA location that has issues it's been others in VA too. Your STAFF is what keeps your customers from flipping out. Praise them, they are keeping your coins flowing! I was so upset I forgot to get their names.

DO NOT HAVE ANY THING SHIPPED TO THEM VIA FEDEX ONE STOP. They will claim their system is down and not allow you to have your package even with proper ID. I even called FedEx and they sent a message to the store saying they could release it and they still refused.
