Rather than eating Seafood this time, I thought I would try something new. I tried the chicken livers, and the recipe is different than I'm used to having as these were deep-fried. The Chowder was excellent. Either on my way headed to Cape Charles for camping or on my way home back to Norfolk, I ALWAYS make plans to eat here

Sting Rays is a great locally owned restaurant. It has a variety of menu options so anyone can find something good to eat. They have local seafood as well. The gift shop is cute and has a bunch of interesting trinkets. Make sure to stop in to eat if you are in town. It also makes a great place to stop if you are just traveling through the area.

The store attached to this place is great. It has a variety of elaborate candy, as well as many convenience store items. Tje attached restaurant looked amazing but we had already eaten, unfortunately.

We stopped in for a quick lunch at the Stingray's Restaurant located inside. Food is great. Service is great. They also have a fair sized giftshop.

One of my favorite places on the eastern shore. Good is good no matter what time you go. Breakfast is really good. At the moment the restaurant is closed on Thursdays

I believe this is also the Stingray Restaurant in Virginia about 15+ minutes once we cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. We always stop there on our way to Maryland's Eastern shore. I always buy their Crabcake sandwiches. They were not as good as in the past. I bit into bits of shells, something I'd never experienced before. The quality just isn't there as it was in past visits. I'll give them another try hoping service & food improves.Selina D. Decatur, GA.

Wow I can't believe it's been 5 years since I've updated my review here. Let's do something about that. This review took place on Feb 28th, 2020. I was over on "The Shore" with one of my best friends Roy to help him record and document some family tree information. This meant a trip to at least 6 graveyards spread out from Cape Charles up to Accomac. We stopped in the Cape Center, only tourists call it Sting-Rays, for breakfast before starting our trek. We were going to need it.Service and hospitality start the moment you reach counter. A friendly "Good Morning" as everyone greeted one another and off to ordering. I ordered a fried egg sandwich and home fries while Roy ordered a breakfast platter. We paid and then we moved over to a table and took a seat. The walls in here have a great history of the restaurant and the Eastern Shore in general. We were looking around at some old newspaper clippings when one of the ladies from the kitchen brought us some coffee and condiments.About 10 minutes later the same lady brought our breakfast out. She made sure everything was as we ordered it and that nothing was missing before excusing herself. My fried egg sandwich had medium fried egg on it so it was just a tiny bit runny (Perfection!) along with some American Cheese and Bacon. The side of home fries were golden and came in a little bowl of their own. Roy's platter was fairly large. It came with 2 fried eggs, toast, a couple of portly sausage links and a bowl full of grits. Yeah my bud Roy is old school and loves his grits. All in all I think we spent about 30 minutes in there, 40 tops. Before leaving we also grabbed some soda's and water from the convenience store next to restaurant and then we headed on our way. Many hours later at the end of the day we stopped in again on the way home and grabbed a couple of Coca Cola's and chips for the trip back to Chesapeake. It's a good day when you can stop in the Cape Center. It's an even better day when you can stop twice. :)

Gas was inexpensive and equipment was clean and in good working condition. Didn't have time to go inside, but it was fairly busy so I can only assume others go by choice.

Stingrays is a excellent place to stop and grab a bite to eat while traveling up and down the Easter shore. It's about 8 miles past the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and tunnels.

Polite staff members. One we had told great jokes yet never skipped a beat while working. Not only was the person hilarious but it just made our trip even more pleasant because we walked in frustrated with directions. Lol

They sell gas. Not sure how you review a gas station. The price was competitive with other gas stations. The equipment worked fine and the charge went thru fine and correctly on my charge card.

Pretty neat station. There's a small restaurant (didn't eat there) and your typical go-to convenience items. Restrooms were clean as well.

Don't let the sign fool you. Sting Ray's has some of the best chili you'll find east of Ohio.
