BEST Golf Cart Rental Experience EVER!!!Review of CC Ryder RentalsPending reviewMy friend and I were sailing up the east coast and came into the Cape Charles Marina for the day. Unfortunately we had some boat troubles and had to stick around for a few days. As we were walking around town, we saw CC Ryder Rentals and thought it would be helpful to have some wheels for the day. As soon as we walked up, the owner "Smitty" greeted us with a super friendly welcome. Super friendly and very knowledgeable of the area, Smitty gave us some suggestions to eat, drink and have some fun. With a super quick check out process, we were on the road in one of the nicer golf carts I have been in. The cart was REALLY clean, peppy and comfortable. The cart was supposed to be returned that evening between 5-7pm, unfortunately with a storm on the way, it wasn't possible. I called and texted Smitty to let him know we still had the cart and would bring it back as soon as we could. The next morning Smitty called and asked if I could bring it back, and I took it right back to him. He again, warmly welcomed me and when I asked what I owed for the extra few hours, he said "don't you worry about it, you are good!" We sat there and talked for several more minutes about business and what not, and then I was on my way. He even asked if I needed a ride back to the boat!! Overall, this was probably the best rental (of any kind) experience I have ever had. I will DEFINITELY be recommending this place to everyone that will listen to me! Hell of a business, and Smitty is a hell of a guy.

Very good service. Carts are reasonably priced and run very well. Smitty and his staff were super responsive, helpful, and friendly. We rented a cart for the last two days of our stay in Cape Charles after seeing others enjoying them. Honestly, we wish we had rented it earlier for the entire trip. Well worth it, and the kids loved riding on it. A lot of fun to drive too. Highly recommend getting a cart when staying in Cape Charles and would strongly recommend CC Ryder Rentals. Their location, right in the town center is also very handy.

10 stars!!!!!!!! We will never rent from another business. We stayed at Cherrystone for the week, it was our first time. A golf cart was a last minute thought. WE ARE SO GLAD WE GOT A CART! If you are questioning if you need one, YOU DO. Especially if you have kiddos. We have 3 in tow. It was so nice to have a cart for those forgotten items back at the cottage, taking trash to the dumpster, picking up food from the cafe, and just driving around with the kiddos for entertainment! We had multiple people ask us about the cart, even couples.Smitty was so awesome. I had contacted him Saturday night, and he got back to me first thing Sunday morning. We were arriving that day, he had a cart waiting for us at the check in! All he asks is for a 30 minute heads up; I kept him updated on our progress throughout anyways, we always tend to run late. I texted that we were 35 mins out, and again at 20 mins out, he was already at the site ready for our arrival! My husband got out, went over the cart with Smitty. It took all of about 5 minutes. That was that! We had the cart for the week! He offers drop off and pick up. We ended up leaving a day early because of the storm coming. I just shot him a text to let him know that we are going to leave the cart at the check in for him to pick up!So bottom line, YES, GET A CART, YES, USE CC RYDER RENTALS!

Stayed at the Hotel Cape Charles and the hotel said they were out of carts. Got on the phone and texted Smitty and he said no problem, we got you. The whole transaction was seamless and the carts were great. They all have unique names so you can find your cart around town. And Riley(sp) was great working the counter!

Smitty is so personable and accommodating! We rented for a few days and he had the best rates in town with brand new, clean carts He was extremely helpful with local knowledge and also flexible with our return. Will be back in a couple of weeks and will definitely head back to CC Riders!!

These guys saved my vacation. I rented a house in town that came with its own cart. That cart broke down on day 1 of vacation. Luckily these guys were able to get me one of theirs last minute. From now on I'll only trust using CC Ryder. This is my fourth time renting with these guys and I'll be sure to book way in advance next time! Thanks again!!

Could not be happier with our experience at CC Ryder Rentals. Smitty was very personable and knew the area like the back of his hand. We will be back to Cape Charles soon and our first stop will be to pick up a cart from Smitty.

This place is great! It's walking distance to downtown and the shore line, so you can walk from your airbnb or vrbo directly to CC Rider Rentals. The staff was friendly and helpful. Golf carts were clean and super fun to drive! They didn't have any 6-seaters available, but we managed make it work for the 5 of us. Rates were reasonable for 24 hour rentals and rental times were a bit flexible.
