Really fantastic. It's definitely out of the way unless you're hanging out in the south Delmarva. But it's worth the drive. Most are probably familiar with the Puddle Pirate or perhaps their oyster stout as both are in wide distribution. But everything I tried on this trip was fantastic. Top that with some pretty good food and a laid back, comfortable atmosphere, and you can't go wrong ... 8.1/10 !!!

Overall had a great experience there but a few things I would tweak if I could. My husband can’t have been and I feel that most breweries not have a seltzer or cider on tap but Cape Charles does not — only wine. I also did not care for the beers I got on my flight. The food was a bit overpriced but all-in-all it was very tasty. We sat outside and the weather was awesome!Kid-friendliness: They have lots of room outside for the kids to run and play

Nice restaurant and brewery! We came twice because it was so nice. The pretzels were ok, but the cheese sauce was delicious! I'd order the cheese sauce again for the fries to dip in. The burgers were good. Also loved the salad, it's huge! Too much feta cheese to my liking though. The beers are great. I liked the summer of love hibiscus lager.

The food overall was very good. My friend had a beer and fish and chips. Both she enjoyed. Loved that the vegetarian burger was cooked to perfection and not burned. The sea salt fries alone are worth a visit. My son had a big daddy burger which he said was "easily the best burger" he ever had. My friend's son had a pulled pork sandwich; he ate everything. I would have loved to order an alcohol free beer which unfortunately they didn't offer. The coleslaw was fresh and made from red cabbage, however for me it was a bit on the bland side. Maybe a bit of Old Bay seasoning would have done the trick.The one thing that bothered us the most is that you had to order at the bar and then pick up your own food yet we were promoted to leave a 20% default tip when paying. Tip for what when I have to do all the work myself?Vegetarian options: Beyond or impossible burger.Wheelchair accessibility: One floor only.

It was a rainy day. We went for a drive, and the very friendly woman at the Cape Charles visitor center recommended this place. The food was so good! My husband tried a new beer, which he enjoyed. Laid back atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The only bummer was they didn't have their famous Mimi's mac and cheese. They have a cute children's book written about Mimi's mac and cheese.

Wow, really impressed with this place. We got a flight of beers and 3 of the 4 were really good. As for food I was also really impressed. The fish and chips were really good (excellent tarter sauce). The clam chowder was definitely one of the top 3 I have ever had. The tuna sandwich was very good. Chicken tenders were average but the Mac and cheese was surprisingly excellent. Normally kids Mac n cheese is not great but this stuff was awesome. Overall great food and a good atmosphere and yes I would definitely go back.Parking: Plenty of free parkingKid-friendliness: Playground for kids and a kid menue

After Memorial weekend, I went there, and I tried some different Brews. The Brew I enjoyed the most was a porter, and then I asked for a bowl of their oyster stew. although the flavor was good, the size of the oysters was so minimal that I couldn't really tell there were any oysters in it. But the manager did go ahead and get me a second sampling only to see the same results. Everyone was hospitable, and I had a good time. There's an outdoor deck looking forward to going back and revisiting another time.Kid-friendliness: Children are welcomed.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ♿️ accessible yes.

Very nice experience. Burger was great. A ton of fries and pickle. Cannot attest to quality of beer myself, but friends enjoyed them. Friend had the fish sandwich (generous size of fish) and really liked it. Nachos delicious and generous size. Only concern was chips were soggy by the time we got to the bottom. Would consider asking for the chips to be in a separate bowl. Staff and service...great! Would def go back if in that area. From near Baltimore.

Don't pass this place up!We stopped in to get a quick bite and a drink.Pleasantly surprised!The food was delicious.I had the Rockfish Platter and it was SO good! They have outdoor seating and the staff are very friendly.The prices are decent, you get a lot of food.We will definitely return.

Solid beers and an incredible space- definitely worth a stop for the vibes. The puddle pirate porter is really fantastic, and the assateague island IPA is a solid offering. The staff was really friendly and the soft pretzel was real delicious. There is a TON of outdoor space- I'd wager this place is very busy in season!

I had the blackened rockfish tacos, fries and a porter beer. The tacos were very good, a little watery (not sure where the water was coming from) and could have used a little more seasoning for my taste (I like things spicy). Th fries were abundant, crisp and very tasty. The beer was awesome, that is the primary reason I came here and I am glad they had a porter on tap in the summer. I will definitely go back when I am in the area!

Sharp location. Affordable flights with a lot of variety. I enjoyed the beers on tap I hit. They were my kind of brew. Strong, tasty and delicious. I took a picture of the selection there. I even bought a growler to take home with me to the Midwest. The employees there were really nice and friendly. They were patient and willing to give samples to try. The growlers were $8.00 and $15.00 to fill. Any choice of beer on tap. It is kid friendly and has an nice eatery menu. The nachos were glorious. The kids hammered them. I got three different flights. One for my recent marine, another for the girlfriend and mom and then mine. Would have loved to stay longer. The venue has a nice outside vibe for kids and picnic area for the adults. Built off a railroad track area and really has its own nostalgic feel. Wish I could visit again with more time. Consider going here if you find yourself in Cape Charles. The coconut rum barrel porter was my ultimate favorite. It really set the tone and made it hard to compete with. The puddle pirate porter is a similar feel, just a little toned down. I also enjoyed the barrel aged bourbon stout. Bayside Belgian was also a good time. The others are also good: Hefe, Pilsner, Lager, Belgium Blonde and Summer of Love. They are a lighter blend. Give this place a look!!

I can't believe that I hadn't written a review sooner! All the times I had been here I figured I had already and yet here we are with Google asking me for a review! Anyway, CCBC is an absolutely fantastic place to sit, enjoy a delicious tuna sandwich, and some excellent brews! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a welcoming attitude really make this a local, and travelers, favorite spot. If you're traveling by or staying in town then I highly recommend stopping in and enjoying delicious libations.

Found this little gem by accident. We were shopping for souvenirs across the street and saw it we came out. I had a dirty vodka martini and my hubby had a flight of whiskey. They also had oysters. Being from the Gulf Coast, we are always comparing size texture and taste.......let me tell you, these rival Gulf Coast oysters. Sourced locally and drinks are made with their own distilled products. Everything was so good! Vibe was awesome indoors. Funky music playing. Comfy seats. Clean decor. Very nice hostess. Highly recommend this place!!!

Stopped in while headed to OBX from Delaware. CCBC had a really nice setup. There is plenty of seating both indoor and outdoors. The staff is very friendly. There is a food menu. We had the wings with the special sweet, spicy sauce which were pretty good. The beer was decent. The IPAs were the best thing on the menu. It was a nice stop off spot. We will be back.

Debra i told you I'll put with red rose.Amazing experience Pineapple 🍍, orange 🍊, Pilsner and Belgian ale are wonderful flights to go in air. Wonderful ambiance outdoor seating. Small 🍷 makes it more presentable. Clean restroom sufficient seating place make ot perfect for weekend gateways. Staff was nice and helpful. Go get the glass Worth 2.50 after order. Food was very good although less vegan options.

Terrific beer, we ordered the puddle pirate porter and smith island oyster stout, both are fantastic if one likes dark beers (and even if one doesn’t), and also the fried rockfish bites. It’s amazing, batter perfectly thin and crispy. Come here if you’re coming through Cape Charles, you won’t regret it!

🔥 This place is awesomesauce! The crab cakes are the BEST I have EVER had. They fall apart and are so great! 😁 All of the dishes here are well crafted, textured deliciously, and are even visually pleasing. Aaron was my waiter, he was very friendly and just fun to chat with, he was so funny with our 2 year old! ❤ He interacted very nicely, definitely a family friendly establishment. We arrived 5pm on a Sunday and the ambience and environment was warm and inviting. 🌼 The food arrived freakishly fast. I love this place and would definitely recommend it to locals and tourists! 🍀

Beer and food was delicious. Our favorite beers were the Beach Bumpkin, Honeysuckle Wheat, Parramore Pilsner, Blood Orange Phunk, and Puddle Pirate Porter (5 of the 8 we tried!). And the food was awesome, loaded nachos, Rockfish sandwich was HUGE, and chowder lived up to its reputation.
