Dukes Creek Marina is the way to enjoy your summer for any special occasion!!! They are super professional and have an outstanding customer service. I have been going to Dukes Creek for over 15 Years. Ive been 3 times this season so far. Every time is always the best! The boats all are always in excellent conditions and well maintained. The front desk and deckhands are super friendly and very informative. I will try to sneak another trip in before the season ends. Thanks for an amazing time always!

Great Rental Place - Great Day at the Lake! Our launched was scheduled for 830. We arrived 15 minutes early to check-in. Everyone inside the office and the crew outside were friendly nice and helpful. We arrived just after 4pm to turn the boat in at 4:30. The boat was a 2016 and in great condition. I know the boats must be used a lot and people can be dirty and not clean up after themselves; so was impressed how good of condition it was in. It was a great day on the lake start to finish. We listened to all of the advice and rules, followed them and had no issues. We will be back! Thank you Duke Marina and Thank you Collin for making the day great.

GREAT PLACE!!! We had a really wonderful experience at Dukes Creek Marina. After weeks in quarantine, it was so refreshing to spend a beautiful day out on a boat with close friends. The staff was very friendly and helpful!!! It was also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

Dukes was a frequent visit during our family Lake Anna trip, and every stop by was great. Every stuff member that we were in contact with had a positive impact.Huge shout out to Harrison in the repair shop for emergency jet ski help. And Ms Judy was incredibly accommodating. Overall a phenomenal little marina; well run and friendly.

Horrible place of service. My step dad had a medical emergency when our boat broke down, so when someone else helped him we called this place. They already had us ready to be towed but then told us we can’t be towed cause we were too far away. They left us in the hot sun with a boat that wasn’t working with two babies. We had to get help from some very nice bystanders to help tow us to get the babies out of the sun. Very horrible experience. I highly do not recommend this place at all.

Top notch! If your worried about how they are operating during these troubled times, don't! Everyone is masked and sanitized up in the building and even as they go over the features of the rental. Social distancing at it's finest! We got a 10 person pontoon for 4 1/2 days. The boat was perfect and ready at our arrival time. We returned the boat early due to weather that would have affected our last half day rental. The contract states no refunds for weather on extended rentals and because it was just easier for me to return the boat early I wasn't even going to ask for a refund or discount. But the outstanding management gave me a refund for our last half day on their own accord! Seeing as how I'm only 40 min from the lake I will definitely be taking the family for fun days on a boat as often as we can. Great pricing and even better staff! Job well done Dukes!

I recently enjoyed a day on the lake with my husband and in-laws out of Duke's Creek Marina. We had an amazing time and Duke's Creek is "the best marina on the lake" according to a source close to me with years of experience on and around the lake.

Dukes Marina is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend their business to anyone. After a perfect boat day our boat suddenly broke down. After calling around Dukes agreed to send someone out to tow us back. In the mix of all of this my father fell off the boat and required immediate medical attention, thankfully a bystander took him ashore so the ambulance could help. As soon as Dukes got there a young boy hooked our tow line up and was getting ready to leave and suddenly his boss called (the woman who manages there) and he unhooked our tow line to leave us stranded. Keep in mind there were two infants on board under the age of two, stuck in the middle of the lake with no way to get ashore. Thanks to some great boaters they were able to pull us ashore to high point marina who offered us food, drinks, and a cool AC for free. Take your business to High Point Marina where they care about their customers. Dukes has no compassion and is horrible at running a business.

The absolute LAZIEST and rudest people I've ever met! I've been at Lake Anna for two days. Since I arrived I've heard about how awesome the ice cream is. We've boated over twice to try it out. Yesterday we arrived 10 minutes after they closed. COMPLETELY our fault!!Today we made sure we arrived before they closed. 4 girls were sitting behind the counter doing absolutely nothing. I asked if anyone was working the ice cream station to which I was informed they had cleaned and closed "the kitchen". To clarify, I asked "you mean you cleaned the SCOOPER??" Their response was a snarky "YUP!"To be fair, if one or two people had been working and in the middle of 5 different things I'd have said "Fair enough". But 4 people sitting around doing NOTHING who can't scoop ice cream is just plain ridiculous. I hope the owners see this and start laying some people off. Clearly they're over staffed!I am not accustomed to submitting bad reviews. I love good customer service! Last night I went out to eat and overheard a waiter tell the bartender one of his tables with a $200 tab didn't leave him a tip. The kitchen had been REALLY backed up. Not his fault. We waited an hour and a half for our to go food. He came back multiple times with a great attitude and a smile. I left him $40, in addition to tipping our bartender, to prove a great attitude and hard work always pays off. He didn't serve us one drink or meal! The marina could learn A LOT from him!!!Oh by the way... the AWESOME ice cream we heard about at the marina was HERSEY'S ice cream. Great brand. Pick up at your local Food Lion and call it a day!

Today was my husband's birthday so we decided a nice break from our busy lives would be a day on the lake! We both grew up in the area and are familiar with the lake. The renting process was very smooth. We got there about 8:30 to set out. The assistant manager was amazing running through all the details with my husband. The young men that showed us to our boat we polite and very knowledgeable. They had no problems answering any questions and even made sure we knew we could call the marina if any problems or questions came up while on the lake. The boat was clean and comfortable. We will be using their services again soon and even once we have our own boat. If you are a novice or educated boater, I would definitely recommend you to rent from them!

My vacation was saved by the awesome service of Harrison in the service department. I was visiting Lake Anna with my grandchildren and we weren't able to explore the lake or go tubing because my Yamaha motor on the pontoon boat was overheating. I spoke with Harrison in the Service dept and told me to bring it over. He quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the water pump (impeller) that had failed. I was back on the water quickly and the bill was more than reasonable. He literally saved our vacation and I am extremely grateful. Thanks again Harrison! A++++++

I purchased a boat on consignment at Dukes Creek. After the purchase a few problems started to become relevant. They were there for me every step of the way. The mechanics here were absolutely the best and the most friendliest I have ever encountered. They kept me updated every step of the way and made sure I knew what was going on. I was given an estimate before they started any work to make sure I was good with the price before they proceeded any further. The marina manager Judy was up front with me about everything and worked with me every step of the way, she made sure I did not feel like I was left hanging after purchasing this boat. She could have easily said sorry but you are on your own, but she didn't. She made it very clear to me she cares about her people and her customers. I was given the option at one point to return the boat if I wanted to, but I did not feel I needed to do that because I continued to feel like everyone was being honest and upfront with me. The mechanic I dealt with the most was Harrison and he was beyond helpful. He answered all of my stupid questions and even explained to me why certain things happened to the boat. Again I can not say enough about my great experiences with this service department.

We visited here on our week long camping trip in the area. Unfortunately the day of our boat rental storms moved into the area. Luckily Duke's was very easy to work with and happily moved our appointment to the following day. Leading up to the day and on the day we spoke with numerous people all of which were very nice and helpful. The young gentleman working the docks were great to work with. All of the woman and young ladies working the desk were polite and nice. Thanks for a great day on the lake.

Dukes Creek has won me over as lifetime customer. They offer rentals at a very competitive rate but what really sets them apart is their customer service. The process to rent a boat was very smooth. I caused an issue on the boat that in fairness I should have been charged to repair but they had the integrity to let me know they had the part on hand to fix it without charging me. That level of customer experience is few and far between.

Friendly and professional service. The boat we rented was somewhat gutless (not their fault). When the boat failed later in the day they towed us in and made things right. What a business does when things go wrong says much more about them than anything else. In my book these guys are very caring about their customers and their reputation. A+

Absolutely the worst customer service and worst run business I have dealt with in a while. While staying at lake Anna we called dukes to rent a boat and provided an address of where we needed the boat. They checked the address and confirmed the booking. Come to find out we were actually on a part of the lake that did not have access to the side of the lake where Dukes is and thus couldn't get the boat to our house. When we tried to get a refund, they were extremely rude and unapologetic for their mistake. I was eventually able to coax a refund minus a "$20 processing fee" - what a joke. Come to find out, they charged me again after asking for the refund, so I paid double plus a $20 fee... complete scam and scummy business! STAY AWAYThey are clearly hurting for business and need every penny they can get, but here's some advice: treat your customers right and you will gain more customers and perhaps even some repeat business!

Rented a pontoon for 1/2 a day and had a great time on the lake. We didn’t really go too far from the marina and ended up anchoring in a cove and taking the dogs in the water and soaking up the sun. We ended up back at the marina with time to spare. They hadn’t received their gas shipment and was told we’d get a call the next day with how much was going to be charged on the card. I didn’t really think much of it since we didn’t use enough gas to come much off the full tank mark and I made sure to ask ahead of time how big the tank was (25 gallons).Well, to my surprise I was called the next day at told the total charge was going to be over $70. I asked how many gallons were put in and was told 11 gallons. Hmmm 1 1/2 gallons from half full and the needle barely came off full when I brought it back. After explaining the math and that something must have been incorrect I was asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. After saying yes I was then told the manager asked if I’d be ok if the dropped it to $30. Really?!!Since there’s no actual proof of how much was really put in I just said I’d accept the $30 adjusted charge since it seemed more plausible and would have been more around the 4 gallon mark. This was my first and last experience with this marina. I’d much rather pay more and be treated fairly over this experience.Edit: I appreciate the prompt response and it does show that this may have been an oversight. There’s no need to refund the $30 as that seems more reasonable than what was initially mentioned when I received the call. Unfortunately the experience won’t make it likely that I would revisit doing business again in the near future.

Really nice boat! We rented one for a half day and had a great time! The lady there was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves despite a rainstorm that cut our half day in half. When we returned she gave us a discount because if weather. Like I said, they were very nice to is. We did practically have the lake to ourselves!We'll definitely rent again- the boat was a 2016 and loaded!

I tried to rent a pontoon boat for a half day in early April per their website rate. When I called I was told that if I did not arrive by 12:00 noon I could not rent the boat despite the fact that I said I would arrive by 1:00pm and was ok paying their FULL 4 hour fee for only 3 hours or less of float time. Still I was denied rental. I then contacted Mid Atlantic Water Sports who were happy to help me with my 3 hour float. I later had to use Dukes for boat gas which was almost $5 a gallon and had rude and not helpful customer service while there. Poor customer service and rude people work here. Please do not use. Contact Mid Atlantic or a different rental/boat gas provider.

This was our first time visiting Lake Anna and decided to rent a pontoon boat. I had called around to a lot of places during a busy time and Duke’s Creek staff stood out as the most friendly and had the most patience for my newbie boater questions. Once we got here, the experience was even better in person. The staff was extremely friendly and had all the patience in the world to answer any question or address any concerns. At the time of this writing, their Google review rating is 3.5 stars, but I have no idea how!! It should be 5.3 stars!!!! We have plans of coming back again and again, but have no plans of going anywhere other than Duke’s Creek Marina!!

We've rented twice now from Dukes Creek Marina. Both times the boats have functioned properly and we've enjoyed our time on the water (8 hrs for a full day rental). They rent towables, allow dogs (for a pet fee), and make pizzas since places won't deliver to the marina. You should always take a picture of the prop of the boat before you take it out as it could be a different person checking you in.

Rented a pontoon boat for two days of family vacation. This is the first time we have rented from Dukes, as we are usually on the private side. The whole experience from beginning to end was terrible. They changed boats on us, we had a shabby boat with no radio (they don't guarantee a radio ) torn seats. The kid that was taking care of us had an an attitude after we questioned him about switching boats on us.. the folks in front of us, he asked how much each child weighed, how many adults how many children so that he gave them the appropriate life preservers, and the boat that originally was assigned to us, he never asked a question one about our life preserver needs. My son spoke to the "manager on duty" who was as rude as the rest of the staff - she said there was a mix up in the boats wrong boat number on contract. Not so.. we watched them scribble boat numbers out and change them on our contract and the other folks. The customer service is the worst ever. If the owners are going to allow teenagers to run their business they should at least hire competent, customer service minded kids. They just don't care about the business. I spent over 600.00 and the customer service and the boat were terrible. I have rented pontoon boats every year for the past 6 years, so I definitely am able to compare. Just heed my advice........if there is nothing available anywhere else when you go to rent except Dukes Creek....save your money and do without.

The lake fun and really nice easy to drive in so you should differently go there just DON'T rent your boat at Dukes Creek. The people are rude and they make you feel uncomfortable renting their boats they make you be responsible for everything also stuff that's not even your fault.The boat I had was really really slow and it could't keep up with the 3 other boats me and my group rented. But if you choose to rent from Dukes Creek remember to take pictures of your boat, so you have proof that you didn't damage the boat otherwise they will charge you for whatever they can find.

Rented an 8-person pontoon for the day and had a fantastic time. My wife, 4 year old, 2-year old, and in-laws spent the day enjoying Lake Anna. We included a two person tube with our rental which ended up being a highlight of the day. The check-in process was smooth and fast; equally so was check-out. The staff was great (shout out to Thomas) and the boat looked new. I'd highly recommend Dukes Creek Marina to anyone considering a pontoon rental. We'll certainly be doing it again soon!

Rented a pontoon on extremely short notice (called 30 min before they had us on the water) and had a great experience! Our boat was almost brand new and worked well. Hesitated a bit before renting due to all the bad reviews but it seems that the large group who posted most of them didn't follow the motto that if you treat other peoples property with respect then they in turn will treat you with respect. Had a great experience and would highly recommend them!

The rental process (paperwork and training on the boat) went pretty smooth. I would pay particular attention to the condition of the boat before you leave the dock. The person renting to us was pretty good at pointing out things that were broken or missing but as a person with little experience around boats it would be hard to know what things to look for. The boat itself was in good condition but it was dirty with food on the seats and floor and trash stored in a compartment that looked like it'd been there for quite a while. Recommend you bring cleaning supplies so you can clean the boat yourself. And take pictures of the boat before departing. The return time of 4:30 is ridiculously early though. Should be more like 6pm. Overall a good experience. I would rent here again.

I rented a ten person pontoon boat on a Friday. The rental experience was great. The staff responded to my emails within hours. The check-in was quick and the instructions were straightforward. As long as the boat stays away from shallow water, I do not see any potential damage to the boat. Will come back again.
