Highly upset. I placed an online order at 2pm. Reserved my time mind u we get charged for. Was notified it would be a little late so, I’m thinking a few mins. It didn’t get started for 2hrs, making my pick up time an hour plus later than what was scheduled and expected. Very upset with the customer service and support on this situation. Honestly if I didn’t need the groceries I would 100% cancel my order and shop elsewhere. Brookneal needs another grocery store…Foodlion is failing this small community

The great store has great customer service and the staff is really nice the only reason why it's a four stars because I think they need to have a team meeting on how to back groceries properly I remember when I was a teenager had to be trained on how to bad groceries properly I think they need to do this at can't be mixing meat products what other meat example ground beef with chicken should not be back together same thing goes with produce do not mix with meat products do not mix box goods or canned goods with produce or meat products something I think that really needs to do

New configuration of the store give me more exercise. The clerk was efficient, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Sales receipt/coupon was a big plus.

Very friendly employees, however the store could stock the spicy variety of some items. Whomever buys for them must not like hot. Never any Tostitos hot salsa, no spicy pickles, no hot of the chili magic. Not even medium of this last one c’mon, some of us love spicy!!

Produce area is still in need of work, including lack of some berries, few fresh salad blends, very overripe avocados with mold. Otherwise, things were okay.

Horrible employee-customer experience. Complete lack of professionalism on multiple visits. Rudeness towards customers, lack of care for the job at hand and employee-to-employee obscenities are a few of the reasons I will go out of my way to a avoid the Brookneal, Virginia Food Lion.

The staff at this store is very friendly and helpful, but cleanliness isn't their strongest point.I purchased an "in store made" turkey Swiss and lettuce sandwich from the deli this afternoon, and after taking a few bites was stunned to see that they hadn't even bothered to dust off the dirt from the lettuce - much less wash it! I thought my dirt-eating days were over when I hit 2 years old, but NO SIR, today proved me wrong!Fortunately, the cashiers refunded double the purchase price for the sandwich, which is apparently their policy - but I won't be returning any time soon.

This is one of the cleanest Food Loins I've ever been to. The workers are nice. I guess being so far out of town is the reason for the higher cost, kinda like a convenience fee.

They need to close it down the dates on most foods are expired and take it home and two days later have to throw it away. I love to see another vrkc store come In so they would have some compition. It's relly sad the dates on foods there. Not to mention the employees are not kind go n about 1t before closing and see no discounts ECT and rude OMG...dont bive me go down at 15 t closing and you will see. Ha better than. That let expose this matter.. GLADLY THANKS

Based on Brookneal, VA Stor, . Clean and well lit/maintained. Fresh mears and veggies abound, correctly tempered and stocked in a very appealling manner.And, as with with this whole area-if you are watching close enuff, you can lay hands or lips in and around anything that u may be interested in. 💥😁🐕😝😊

Very good Food Lion. Good maintenance, management, and stock. The only thing I didnt like was when we got to the register the cashier didnt put our cold foods in blue bags.

Isn’t the fanciest or nicest of grocery stores even for a food lion. It gets the job done as long as you aren’t looking for anything out of the ordinary.
