Employees there are dependent on self check out along with smoke breaks and playing on there cell phones. It’s a shame how messy and unorganized this store is for no older than it is. Desperately needs a manager that wants to make a difference!

Dont go here their registar never prints Receipts, and meanwhile they are talking with other people, and telling you they cant print a reciept, you get ripoed off. I got ripped of 5.95 plus tax, all becuase they said i didnt have a reciept. I had the person hand write me one, and that was not good ebough. They rip people off here

While this location generally has what I need and the staff is nice enough, the store itself is always such a mess. There's always carts of empty boxes sitting in the aisles, and most of the product is messy and misplaced aside from grocery items. I've started going to Family Dollar instead because it's much cleaner.

Let me start by saying, "look Dollar General their products....The Price Its Awesome!! Not so awesome is there is always 10 cars outside and there not there for shopping there there for the Wifi....me I really miss the atmosphere they have at the Store located in Mount Jackson, Virginia. (22842) way different the Ladies down there greet you coming and going and actually care.

This visit was just ok, I asked about location of something, no one answered. Front door is "broken" has been for months. Inside there's always isle clutter with tubs of merchandise needing stocked on shelves, or cages of merchandise in end cap area. Always dirty, its nothing to see where floors been dust mopped & pile of dirt sitting along wall ....Been wanting to report this for a couple years

I was here with my fiance, we had placed our items on the cashiers stand and she rang up everything except one .60 cent mentos, we had placed 3 on counter, i noticed it sitting there still and asked if she had rang the item up, she said no. I was fine with that and placed the item back on the candy shelf and grabbed our items after paying and walked out, i get into parking lot only to have an older lady with short hair and glasses chasing me asking me if i stole the dr pepper pack in my hand. I was baffled as to how she got that assumption but said no and explained that it was one mentos not rang up not the dr pepper. This lady got an attitude and said well i dont know how i mixed that up, sighed like she was upset i didnt steal and said ugh ill just go ask her. I was asset protection for wal mart and US Army Military Police, their corporate doesnt even seem to care as the last time i was in there..Friday last day of May 2019 she was in civilian clothes and followed me into an aisle..then as she is being checked out she goes behind the register in her plain clothes...i sure wish i could ring myself up and then accuse others of stealing...so funny also she had no problem chasing me into parking lot but wouldnt even apologize for her error...i would suggest staying away from this Dollar General and just go further up to Harrisonburg.

Clerk very helpful. Can't get to the products you need for all the carts and boxes sitting in the aisles. Lots of clutter. Definitely needs some organization.

This place is just trashy and disgusting. People just standing around not doing anything when there is carts everywhere, the whole store is a mess, and we even saw a used tampon wrapper outside our car! Ugh I will avoid this place at all costs!

To many carts and boats sitting around with merchandise in them. nobody working on them. Some aisles you couldnt go up or down them.

No room, iles always full of stock, employee so busy trying to find someplace to put stock customers have to wait and wait to check out. Will be going to family Dollar from now on!!!
