Large clean venue. Food available on site. People bring small kids and dogs here. A lot of signs like "Don't bring coolers" "No outside food or beverages" "No guns" etc. It wasn't a welcoming sight, even with the "Please don't make us make any more signs" sign.Plenty of parking, on Monday it was near empty. Beers were more than I expected in price, average in taste, sampled one that was almost all foam. Didn't sample any food this trip. Might be back for another time when it's more lively or live music.

It's a very spacious brewery with great beer and good food. They have axe throwing, campfires, and both outdoor and indoor seats. There was a band playing when we went. They also have a ton of parking space.Really good vibe!

Great brewery. We thought the beer was really good. Tons of tables and places to sit - inside covered shelters and buildings, as well as under umbrellas. Lots of space for kids to roam and play outside. Great place to bring the family or visit as a group. We’ll be visiting here again.

My friends and I went here last Saturday. All I had on me was cash and the employee said we don't except cash and was rude about it. Then my friend checked her debt card account and it had been charged double on the bill. They also do a 50.00 hold when you open a tab, that doesn't come off the card for 5 days.

This place deserves 6 stars or more! We found it by chance in Google Maps. We gave it a try because many reviews said it was a family-friendly place. 100% true. Kids are allowed in all areas. Playground, live music, kids menu, fire pit, large grass areas, little gardens. all you need for a high-quality family day. Importantly, the beers were great, and prices were ok.

This is an excellent place to come with groups or family to have fun! Whether you like beer or fun or just have a good time! A lot of beer options.Something to note, on the weekends they do not serve beer flights. They also have a kitchen and for variety, they bring various food trucks!

We really enjoyed this place. The Hazy IPA was really good. They have lots of seating inside and a patio and stahe outside. Food was good. Staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. UPDATE: We went back for the Farmfest. It was busy. The band was good.

This is a great place to come have fun! Rhe main building has very long tables where you can stand at and enjoy the drinks. The pomegranate beer was amazing! They also had a live band playing. Then you have the ax throwing barn which was so fun to do. There are outdoor areas with fire pits to hang out by and a few food trucks on site as well. We enjoyed it all!

Fantastic brewery located just outside of Haymarket. Large selection of draft beers. Ample parking and tons of seating. Great place to bring your kids and or dogs. I recommend making reservations if you want to try your hands out on ax throwing.

We live 3 miles away but every Sat night they play loud country music that can be heard clearly from inside our house! How inconsiderate and annoying. Our kids cannot get good nights sleep on the weekends because of them.

i was charmed by my first two visits here, but the third time has shown me that i will not be returning. i went with my partner and his friends to celebrate someone's wedding, a psuedo bachelor party on a friday. the server, who i think was new, was rude and told my boyfriend to "slow down" on his third beer (he was entirely cognizant and polite). on my tab i bought us 5 drinks and an $8 pretzel that wasn't good enough to finish. it was a just okay night but it didn't end there.sunday at work i went to purchase my lunch and my card was declined. i checked my bank account to see a $75 charge from the brewery, and two pending charges, $50 and $25. i was aware of the very high $50 authorization charge but was assured by the server that it cleared once i closed my tab. although im not sure what the $25 charge is for. it was a sunday so i used cash and assumed they would clear by monday. no luck. tuesday still had me in the negatives so i contacted my bank and learned that pending charges can not be disputed. i left a voicemail with the brewery explaining my situation, asked for a call back and recieved nothing. wednesday, they opened at 3 so i checked my account at 4 and still had the pending charges. i called again with no answer during their business hours. i'm not sure how long this will go on but it has been very stressful and frustrating. im obviously not in a great place financially and fear that i will not receive any kind of recourse in this situation.reading through other negative reviews i see other people have had similar experiences and also that the owners are apparently holding a historic black cemetery legally hostage. i regret spending any money here. my boyfriend, friends, and i will not be returning here.i will update if anything comes of this

We went early on a Friday night. The place looks very nice and the beer I had was good. I would have liked to try more, and the beer tenders offered samples, but I couldn't get a flight because it would have been too time consuming for the tenders. This was explained to me, as I was talking to two of them, while three more were helping the only other person at the bar. So it was one and done.

Good music, cold beer, perfect summer day. I had the Broad Run Blonde ale, which was perfect on a hot summer day. The line at the food truck was over an hour, definitely skip that. But enjoy the beer.

This is an update to a prior review. We were here for a business holiday party. The staff was very friendly. The environment was great as usual. And the doppelbock was one of the best I have ever had from an American brewery.

Although I agree this place is perfect to let your children run around and play, it’s not great for couples who don’t have children and just want to hang out and have a beer. I’ve visited this brewery three times now, twice before Covid and once today and the prices are still just as high before Covid. This is not an inflation issue, rather it’s a place where you get two small beers, a $4 hotdog the size of a sausage and some fries for $27.00. Wow, are you crazy? I just got back from England where I can get a pint of higher quality beer for $3 a glass. Also, what’s with the signs everywhere? Do they really mean anything? Why can’t we pay with cash? What if we don’t have credit or debit cards? We asked this question and the snippy response was, people just walk away. Okaaayy? I suppose that’s an answer. Obviously not my cup of tea and I’m glad I’ll not return for a fourth trip even though I live only a few miles away. When friends and family visit, we will be sure to avoid such high cost establishments such as this place.

Such a fun place to take the family! The IPA’s and Cider are delicious. My husband had the Stargazer and I had their Pumpkin beer (forgot the name). I really enjoyed the Pumpkin beer it was smooth/subtle and did not have a strong pumpkin taste. Today they had the Fall Beertique so we got to enjoy some beer as we shopped. Love this place!

Made the mistake of ordering food here because I had been at work all day & it was almost $8 for 4 sad burnt chicken tenders. The beer was okay but with tip it was $30 for 2 beers and sad nuggets. Other places in the area are way more worth it. They also have the MOST uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. Drank my 1 beer and got out of there. Wouldn’t waste money here again for sure. Always like to review so other people don’t fall into the same bad trap. So many of the reviews on this place are paid local guides who get money to leave positive reviews.

Beer was awesome. Service was awesome. Wings great. Popcorn meh, not as good as theatre or microwave. Pretzel was pretty much a salt lick versus nice fluffy dough, obviously bought premade for the masses.

One of our go-to breweries in the DMV. Friendly, fast service even when it’s crowded, great live music, good variety of beer and family friendly.

We organized my aunt’s birthday party to have at the brewery last Saturday (2:30 7/8) everything went great! The service from everyone was great! Friendly staff and super accommodating. The axe throwing staff did an amazing job helping and entertaining us. Thank you for making my aunt’s birthday! Highly recommend

Although the beer selection was great and tasty the service was terrible! Also they advertise the best wings in the area and they were not edible. Did enjoy some football . . .

Nice place to go, also with family and children. Large outside area also for playing. You can eat some pizzas and other bites, but the speciality is beer. Great beers. Many options and you can taste 4 with flight. Among the beers, several IPA, one dark, some Ale, some lager, some with fruit aromas, some very light. Very very interesting the Strawberry Fileds, fruit flavored but definitely beer... great... and even The Beatles used to sing "Strawberry Fields Forever"....
