If we could give Ever After Alpaca Farm a million stars, we would. Not only is the owner extremely kind, she is very responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly takes amazing care of the alpacas (and other animals) at the farm. The animals are obviously loved and taken care of, and the alpacas greeted her whenever they saw her. Her alpacas are gorgeous and so sweet! The tours they provide are perfectly timed and include just enough people so everyone can interact with the alpacas but not overwhelm them.Also, their store has amazing products that are very reasonably priced and created with beautiful craftsmanship. We already have three of her alpacas that we brought home, and I feel our collection will grow more.Thank you so much for the amazing experience, will definitely be returning!

I took my mom and we had a blast! You get to interact with alpacas and learn about them too! It was so neat! Then we also got to feed and pet goats, horses, and chickens! Just an amazing experience so fun! There’s a little gift shop where you can buy cool alpaca stuff. Heidi and Josh were so kind and welcoming you can tell these animals are happy and well cared for! I really cannot recommend this place enough! We had a fabulous time!

This place is amazing! The owners, Heidi and Joshua, are so sweet and kind! They take the time to provide a whole bunch of useful facts and information about all of their animals. I took my 4 year old and 1 year old with me and they both had such a blast. Do not hesitate to make a reservation for a tour, you won’t regret it!

I went to the Ever After Alpaca Farm on a Saturday afternoon (3pm) in September 2023. Tickets were $16 per person. It was easy enough to find and plenty of parking. I went with my partner and my dad and we had a blast! The owners/hosts, Heidi and Joshua, start with brief education and precautions about alpaca before heading in. They have pre-measured food in buckets for everyone and we got to feed the males, females, and baby alpaca. They ate right out of your hand and were so super soft! My partner even got baby alpaca kisses! If that wasn't fun enough, they also let us visit and feed treats to their goats, horses, and chickens. They also had a small alpaca store filled with socks, plushies, blankets, hats, etc. made out of alpaca fur. At the end of the visit, there was a hand-washing station. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to go again!!

Ever After Alpaca Farm offers such a unique experience! My kids (7-9 y o) and I loved to be there. Feeding and petting Alpacas are so fun. I need to mention well cared goats, horses and chickens as well! The best farm I have ever been! My kids think like that too. We visit the gift shop and kids have got two alpaca plushies, so we feel they are with us all the time!The owners are so friendly and kind. They have a big heart ☺️We definitely will come back.

We booked the Ever After Alpaca Farm for our Virginia wedding and it was a wonderful surprise for my friends and family! I was super excited to have alpacas join us on our special day and everything went very well!On the day of, guests complimented the Alpaca wranglers on answering questions. Leading up to our wedding, Heidi was very communicative and was wonderful to work with. We even had a chance to see their farm and visit all their alpacas before our June wedding.I highly recommend visiting them or have them bring their adorable alpacas to your event :)Photos by @amandamacpheestudios

We had a fun, educational, and relaxing day! They have built a wonderful animal experience where all the animals are obviously well cared for. Feeding and petting the animals was a lot of fun! The farm was easy to find and there's lots to do in the area as well. We were planning a trip back before we'd left!

What a gem! I cannot speak highly enough of this farm! Heidi and Joshua are so kind and brilliant at what they do. They went above and beyond to make our visit a memorable one. My mom, who has loved alpacas for much of her life, made plans to visit me in early April to celebrate her birthday. I reached out to Heidi and Joshua in the winter to ask when their spring tours would begin, hoping they might align with my mom's visit. Although they weren't planning to officially begin tours until mid-April, they were kind enough to host a "pop-up" early opening so that we could visit during my mom's trip. We are truly so grateful because, as it turns out, petting alpacas really is the best way to spend a birthday.We began our visit by learning some fascinating (and funny!) alpaca facts. Then we were able to feed and pet the alpacas, who are very sweet and sociable. (And you really will not believe how soft they are!) Afterwards, we were able to play with baby goats, pet horses, and feed chickens. Heidi and Joshua accompanied us the entire time, telling us stories about the animals and pointing out their unique personalities. It is clear that every creature on the farm is not only well cared for but also truly cherished. Before we left, we bought some beautiful and very warm alpaca items from their little shop. We'll be enjoying them for years to come!We ended our day with a visit to Pearmund Winery just across the street as Heidi and Joshua had suggested. Together, these visits made for the most beautiful afternoon and truly one of the best ways to spend time with your loved ones.If you're anywhere in the area or beyond (we drove from Maryland), you really must visit! My partner and I are already making plans to return to see the baby alpacas once they're born!

It was my first time interacting with alpacas and it was a great experience! It is a family-owned farm and the owners were very informative and helpful. It is an intimate, hands-on experience with alpacas and even other animals too (baby goats, horses, chickens). The handwashing station after the interaction is very much appreciated! I would love to visit again when the baby alpacas are born.

Had a delightful time at this farm. The owners were very knowledgeable and were willing to answer any questions. Took my 7 year old and she loved the experience. She asked when we could go back about 10 minutes after we got back in the car on our way home.

This alpaca farm is so much fun. Heidi and Joshua are knowledgeable, funny, and kind. My 3 yr old loved feeding the alpacas, and in addition to alpacas, there's chickens, horse, and goats. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

The owners are so kind and share their joy with you. All of the animals are extremely docile, which is a testament of how much they are loved and well cared for. The farm is a wonderful break from the hustle and bustle, and you leave in such good spirits. The store has a little something for everyone, and it's such a cool souvenir to go home with. How many places can you buy alpaca socks straight from the alpaca?!

Loved our experience there! Our first time visiting an alpaca farm and didn't realize there were many options to choose from in the region. So happy we picked Ever After Alpaca Farm as our first experience. We loved the ability to have such a close up tour with the alpacas and other farm animals. Josh and Heidi are incredible hosts and it's very clear how much they care for their animals. A very educational experience for all of us. My 7 year old loved it, and Josh and Heidi were very good at helping her feel comfortable around the animals. We loved being able to pet and feed them too. Will definitely be back!❤ ❤

Great farm tours with tons of alpacas, horses, goats, and other animals. We got to pet and feed all the animals. So cute! Josh and Heidi are great tour guides and the kids had so much fun. Also had a great gift store with handmade clothes, super soft and lightweight blankets, etc from the alpacas. Definitely recommend booking a tour!

What a wonderful experience! Heidi and Josh were great hosts...very friendly and super informative. You can truly tell how much they love their animals. You have the chance to get up close and personal with not just alpacas, but chickens, goats, and horses too. We had a great time and will certainly be going back!

Small group size, great owners who will teach you a thing or two, reasonable price that includes all the animals on the farm (I got to hold a baby goat), and the farm is run in a way to allow the animals to really engage with you. Went for a birthday and it was the best gift! I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.
