Always like their bakery section. They have a variety of cake slices which is perfect for one. Employees are friendly and helpful. Also love their store brand Table Water Crackers! They go great with a variety of cheeses and fruits!

I just moved so this is my first time in this Safeway. It's newer then the one I used to go to. It's clean and a has friendly staff. Can get everthing I need quickly. Doesn't have the wide selections as some of the other stores but I like coming here for my staples and the bulk of my shopping. They have a good rewards program and easy to use app for coupons/gas rewards. I also like using Safeway to deliver groceries to my house. I do think they can work out a better system on how they deliver and customer service. I have gotten another customer's order and they have forgotten items. Most times there were no issues.

Terrible shopping experience. Out of date food. Bad customer service. Worst management ever. By all means if you do a grocery pickup do it somewhere else. This employee is terrible at his job. He is very unprofessional, slow at his job and just a bad example of customer service.

What an absolute horrible experience I had to endure at the Safeway in Bristow Va last night. It was downright wrong of the staff member at the deli counter and the gentleman who identified himself as the store manager! The way I was treated by these two employees was so rude and shameful that I will never return again ..

Local shop near my home I go there all the time. Clean, organized plenty of cashiers, and self paying spots. Very easy access with plenty of parking. Not busy at all quick pay and go.

If you are trying to get any prescription medicine, don’t bother sending it to this pharmacy. They will always tell you, they don’t have it in stock and that they will have to order it which will take multiple days.

Clean and well stocked grocery store. The guy in the seafood department was extra nice. They were cleaning up for the night, and I asked if i could get a few pounds of crab legs. He accommodated me, and for that reason and level of customer service, I'll be returning to this store.

Shopped here on August 8th, 2022 and found multiple produce with mold!!! Unbelievable. It looks like its been there for multiple days!!!

This location has great sales and very kind employees. Unfortunately the quality control for perishables has gotten worse, however. The cherries I bought from this store went soft and even molded after 3 days in the fridge. The 2 cucumbers I bought went soft overnight and had 2 puncture marks in both of them that only appeared after going soft. And it's not just the produce - my new bag of Toufayan Classic White Pita that was due to expire July 16th had mold spots on all the loaves on July 5th. I'll only shop for canned goods and non-perishables at this store from now on.

This review is specifically for the seafood department and store management team. Store is clean and neat with a jaded feel to it. Now the issue: my wife ordered a lobster tail special for Thanksgiving. One tail for $7.99, about half off. And she has a promotional coupon code for extra $30 off when buy 10. She placed the order online to pick up at this store. Half an hour later after receiving a confirmation email of the order, she got another confirmation email for 10 cases of the tails! Now we were out and about running errands, preparing for Thanksgiving Day so we didn't notice the email until we arrived at the store to pick it up, which we didn't pay any mind too since we're already at the place. My wife, whose English skill is pretty weak, went in for in. She got 1 case of 10 tails, and a receipt of $800!! Yes not $80 minus the $30 promo code, but $800!! The seafood clerk Doug (name on the receipt) said that's what we ordered, and he can give us some discount, to drop it down to about $700. Now on the receipt it supposed to say REPLACEMENT, and also stated 10 cases! Not 1 case!! My wife didn't know exactly what were being said so she just wanted a refund. They cashed her out and said the return was done! We thought nothing of it until the charge went through! We went back and talked to the front end supervisor. She investigated and found the department didn't do a proper transaction when fulfill the order and didn't make a refund as claimed. She said she will talk to the store manager and give us a call to update us. Well nothing happened. We contacted our bank and disputed the charge. And I am writing this review as a warning for the shady business this store runs!

If you like overpriced groceries that are usually of decent or average quality this is the place for you. Produce is nothing special and very expensive. This store often has expired sale tags and expired food products. Wegmans has comparable prices for far better quality. I have noticed this Safeway store is always quite clean so it should be noted. 3 stars as it does have some conveniences to it but not somewhere I shop very often. The occasional basket of stuff is all I ever get from there as I cannot justify overpaying here. I highly recommend lidl and wegmans.

I can't tell if this is an older store or just a store in need of a refurb. It was well stocked and clean, but the age and decor were definitely showing. Staff seemed friendly with the little interaction i had with them. Prices seemed higher than the competition.

nice lady at the self checkout. i always come for fresh fruit and fresh seafood. there was no hot rotassiarie chicken like the other safeways, however i got a great deal on seafood.

The customer service has been great every time I have visited. They have many great sales, especially in the meat section (4 packages of select meats for $19.99)I often make a trip over to that sound of town just to pick up on the great sale options.I love that I can get points to use at the attached gas station. The convenience is great since the gas station options are limited in that Area.

I have had numerous wonderful experiences with Bristow Safeway bakery team. Melody and Jennifer are great to work with and really listen and help create cakes of my choice. I started creating cakes with Melody a few years ago and the finished product are almost everytime looks much nicer than I imagine.Recently Jennifer worked with me to create a beuriful baby shower cake. It was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. My guests were impressed. The other bakery staff are pleasant and nice to work with also. Happy Holidays to Bristow Safeway bakery team! It isn't very close or convenient to my house, but periodically they sales or specific items that aren't carried just anywhere. I'm certainly glad they are here and stock those items when I need them. Consider yourself fortunate if you do live close because they offer a great selection.

I was working in the area and needed some items so I decided to stop by Safeway. This was my first time ever entering a Safeway. I though the prices would be expensive since it was located in a upscale area but I was wrong. As I entered the store the place was nice and clean, spacious and the prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed my shopping experience there that I decided to become a member. I'll be back not just because their reasonable priced but also the great service I recieved.

We shop at this Safeway alternating with Harris Teeter which is also next door. We shop there every other day at least. Love the employees and we are actually great friends with them all. BUT third time in a row we have bought lamb and it was rotten. 🤮. Just jointed Costco again as a result And the management at Safeway was never concerned that they sold rancid putrid meat. I had to fight for a refund all times.

Incompetent and useless order pick up services!!!! They Always mess up my order and don't follow instructions. I select "no substitution" for every single item, yet they substitute and do whatever they want. It blows my mind how they can mess up everytime and management doesn't do anything about it. Avoid this Safeway for your own sanity!!!!

It's a traditional grocery store. Not much to comment about except for their bathroom. Worst smelling bathroom in the area. Highly recommend NOT using it. If you must use it take a hazmat suite with you or triple mask with febreze sprayed between each mask layer. Do a prebreathing exercise prior to entering the restroom to increase the oxygen levels in your blood stream which will assist you in holding your breath for a longer period of time. As you enter start holding your breath. After about 30 seconds start to exhale as slow as possible. This will also extend the time before a required inhale (yes with your hazmat suite or triple febreze soaked masks). If done correctly you should only need to breath in two or three times. Given the breathing restrictions required to enter the restroom it is advised you bring a friend to wait outside the restroom in the event you faint and they need to pull you out. Make sure they have a few masks at the ready and a timer. If you are not walking out of the restroom within a couple minutes have them rescue you. If you faint while in the restroom you should probably make an appointment with an ear, nose and throat doctor in the event of nostril or smell damage from the toxic smell of the bathroom. All that being said I recommend planning ahead and use the bathroom prior to going to the store.

It's our first time there but the shop seems huge and they have got everything needed like all the groceries. So if you need something in an emergency immediately or you want to do any kind of day-to-day groceries, this is a very good place.

The store is generally quite clean but I never see a huge crowd shopping in here. The prices are seemingly considerably higher on many of the products I usually buy, so I only visit the Safeway when I absolutely need something though I normally shop elsewhere. The quality of the produce department and seafood and meats is quite good but again just a bit pricey.

I had questions about a birthday cake. I came in at 11 AM. The young lady that was working in the bakery. Couldn’t have a full conversation with me so she couldn’t help me. So she told me to call or come back after 1 PM.I then called again the next day to talk to somebody and bakery and I spoke with somebody who also couldn’t answer any of my questions the only thing she kept saying repeatedly was please call back after 1 o’clock my manager coming.I just wanted to know if simple price on cakes for my son’s birthday party.It’s frustrating because every time I go into the store I have to take three of my kids with me.
