The difference between this and the Johnson City, TN store is amazing... I will not waste my time at the TN store again. Choice is so much better in VA... so glad we took a wrong turn and found this shopping center. The only down side is -- they do not accept returns from Marshall's (weird as they are the same company).Anyway, can't wait to return again next time when we have a lot more time yo to really look & shop!

I just wanted to share that I shopped in this store today and absolutely found it the cleanest most organized T.J Maxx I've ever been in in my life. A lady at the fitting room her name was Jane and she could not have been more helpful and it was greatly appreciated. Please keep up the good work. I certainly like trying on things before I have to buy them bring them home try them on and bring them back. So thanks again.Carol H

While shopping today two employees were sharing expletives….. thankful I didn’t have my children with me. I don’t use nasty foul language and prefer not to be around it. What you do in private is your own business but it shouldn’t be allowed while on the clock in a child-friendly public venue. Cashier was apologetic and kind. I’m not one to complain, but this is why it’s not acceptable because no one complains anymore.

I am a frequent bargain hunter at TJ Maxx. Came to this place recently and was followed by an older dude step to step. I even took picture of him sitting and waiting on me to check out. I only used a bathroom there and been followed since from stand to stand. I felt uncomfortable and did not make all the purchases that I planned for.

Todsy, spent an hour helping my friend find 5 clothing items and we both bought a purse. My second visit there in last 2 weeks and used all my gift cards to get a lot of nice items. Love T.J. MAXX

When we travel we love to stop at all the different TjMaxx locations. The one in Bristol always has the best prices. We stop here everytime we're in the area.

The selection is very broad, a lot of great items with prices you can't beat. The store was clean & organized. The cashier was welcoming. We buy a lot of our pet supplies (toys, shampoos) there.

Great place to shop! Has a little bit of everything! Very cheap discounted items, offers cloths, shoes, luggage, kitchen accessories, food and personal hygiene products. Store was very organized and staff was extremely nice willing to help with anything. Would definitely recommend for Christmas shopping or a little indulgence in yourself.

Always has a great selection of beauty and skin care products. They are one of the more organized locations that I have been to in the TJ Maxx/Marshall stores. I love how they even have a table dedicated to Korean skin care products. <3

I have to take time out of my day to compliment the outstanding customer service I received today. The level of outstanding customer service exhibited today by associate “ Jane” was unparalleled . In an era where customer service is somewhat lacking, Jane went above and beyond. Besides being courteous, she kindly offered to allow me to pull my car up while she waited with my cart and then proceeded to load my vehicle for me! Thank you Jane for your kindness even in a pandemic to make sure customers have a pleasant experience in your store! TJ Maxx needs to do whatever it takes to keep you in their employment!

This location is always clean and the staff is friendly. There is always a very nice selection of clothing available for all sizes and style. The beauty section is fantastic and very well organized.

The worst experience at a TJ MAXX ever! Always love going to this store. Went in on a Sunday night a whole hour before they closed knowing I would have plenty of time and wouldn’t be a rude last minute customer. Tried on my items, checked out with 30 minutes to go and realized I bought the wrong size in one out of the four items I bought. They had 15 minutes til close and knew if I hurried I would be in and out of their way in just a few minutes. I went back into the store and they had ALREADY closed their front entrance with 15 minutes til close! An older gentleman was standing at the exit door staring at me as I walked in and I asked politely if I could leave my bag at the counter and go grab the correct size. He took my bag and I grabbed the right size and brought it to the register. The young girl processing my exchange was very nice but took at least 5 minutes to change the price of my item. I was hurried out of the store and they turned off the lights while they were still open!!!! I got home and she had given me the size I had originally bought and the one I went in to exchange it for was left at the store. Worst experience ever at any retail store. I am giving this review because I work retail and have for years and you NEVER rush customers out. Customers always come first. I’m not sure if the man standing at the door was running this place but I will be telling many people to never shop at the Bristol TJ MAXX.

It’s one of my favorite stores in the area. It’s not as great as some TJMaxx stores in more upper crust areas such as West Palm Beach, FL or Dallas TXBut it’s pretty good!

Went here before Christmas and believe it or not the prices were less than half of what they are now. The staff is no longer helpful and very rude if you do find them. Staff acts like you should be paying them for the privilege of being in there

This is a great store for discounts on makeup and beauty. Clothes are a little pricey and they don't have a lot of cute stuff for plus size young adults. Like size 14.

The people in Bristol VA. Are so different than the ones in TN. Grouchiness and bitter must be in their water.... TJ Maxx had always been a great place to shop but I think Marshalls is much better
