Recently attended a statewide youth conference hosted at Hilton Garden Inn - Bristol, and I have to say, it was exceptional! The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating to our needs, ensuring all dietary requirements were met with delicious food options. The rooms were not only clean but also serviced frequently, providing a comfortable stay throughout. Moreover, the hotel's convenient location near entertainment and restaurants added extra convenience to our experience. Highly recommend this venue for any event or stay, thanks to the wonderful hospitality!Rooms: The rooms were clean and tidy. No complaints.Nearby activities: Restaurants and local shopping center surround the hotel. Cheddars and Cracker Barrel are the closest to restaurants.Walkability: Conveniently located in between several restaurants and other shopping centers. The only thing you need to watch out for is the hill you have to climb in order to get to the hotel

Hotel looked nice, workers were friendly. Only bad part of our stay is my room had bed bugs and we brought them to my house and I had to pay thousands of dollars to heat treat our home. It’s been a living nightmare. Regret staying here, do not waste your money. I’ve called several times to ask them to check that room and they said they would call me back and it’s been weeks with no call back. Save yourself money and find somewhere else to stay. The meltdown it has caused my wife, the thousands of dollars in things we’ve had to throw away, thousands in treatment and having to stay somewhere else until they are completely dead and gone. It’s truly not worth it. (Edit: pictures are from my house after returning home and discovering the bugs and throwing tons of things away).

We stopped here on our way to Nashville. There was a snowstorm coming in and we are Hilton Honors members. Lots of dinner places were closed so we ate in the hotel restaurant. They were quite busy, but made every effort to ensure the service was friendly and good, if a little slow. It is not a super new establishment, but it was very clean. The TVs were out, but the internet worked. We would be glad to visit here again.

This hotel rips off military service members. They advertise military discounts, but my grandson stopped there on 10/29/23 for the night. He asked about a military discount and was told he had to have his orders to get it. But tge web site says military discounts and when I looked up room rate it showed 133.00 with military ID. They charged him 176.27 because the clerk said they could not give him the discount and he was dead tired and wasn't going to drive any further. This is really a very sad way to treat soldiers who make very little money to begin with. I am sure they could have given this 21 year old soldier a better rate than that. I actually had to send him some extra cash because that put a big dent in in money until he gets paid. He would not have had enough to get back to Texas.

To all of you Military Personnel traveling through VA on interstate 81 beware. I reserved a one-night stay at this hotel. I was charged the military rate along with the regular rate. I was double charged. A total of $370. 00 for one night. I have spent the better part of a day trying to get a refund. So far, no good. So, in the future I will think twice about staying in any Hilton hotel. To my Brothers and Sisters in whatever branch you my be, be advise to check your receipt before checking in and out of this hotel.

Great location and awesome customer service! Chip was so helpful . Very dog friendly, which is a huge plus. They even have dog poop bags and waste receptacles outside. The kids loved the pool and the outdoor seating area was great. The bar was an added bonus! My dog found an empty water bottle under the bed, but the room was perfect otherwise. I'd definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay with easy access to I-81. Cracker Barrel’s front porch is right outside the hotel’s back door; and since the continental breakfast isn’t complementary unless you have gold status; I’m guessing the Cracker Barrel does pretty good business. The bar does have a good selection of red & white wines; although the selection didn’t match the many list. The staff was fantastic at every interaction.

The hotel lobby is welcoming and clean. The rooms were great! Clean. Bed comfy, pillows amazing. The hardware is showing wear and tear. But it's all kept clean. Not really a big deal. A nuisance is bathroom door does not stay open. Understand why because it opens towards the front door. It's also a very light door like it belongs on a closet. Not a deal breaker though.Bring safety pins if you want the blackout curtains to stay closed and not have that gap in center to block the sun.Now for the BREAKFAST! Yes the comments are legit. It's not really included. The woman working it clearly has to explain it to everyone how it works. While there is a board up that kind of explains it all. It's really not straight forward. With all the bad comments about it especially demanding it should be free like other hotels. IDK $11.95 is the most expensive. A breakfast sandwich i think ran 8.00 or something. That sandwich was AMAZING BTW! When you put into perspective of say a McDonald's breakfast, or Wawa/Sheetz/RoyalFarms/Starbucks and what you'd pay there you're getting better food in hotel. The breakfast this place offers is actually real/legit food for the most part. Not reconstituted - microwaved garbage. The cut fruit is fresh not a can. They had croissants! I did not see juice though 😒 Eggs are made to order like an Embassy Suites.I just don't believe people actually know what garbage is served at the "Free Continental" breakfast hotels, read your labels. The $11.95 for a buffet or 1 meal off menu is still a decent deal. Considering the cost of everything FAST these days.A side note there is an issue even when you pay extra for the room to have the breakfast. I'd say just make sure you are on the list for the waitress in the morning. 😃2 elevators, indoor pool, saw an ATM in lobby (weird 🤔), a room with 2 desks and printers, market shop had a plethora of items, a decent meeting room in lobby.Staff was all super friendly and helpful...Would stay again!
