This store has inconsistent hours everyday Is different. Opening at 12 closing at 5. Staff is rude and refused to take change for my sons purchase. They wanted a card. For a corner store in a small town they need better policies and manners.

I just want to take the time thank the new GM JC. Not only is he a great GM, he is also a good man. Had a problem and he called me right away and took care of it. Been a loyal customer for years and I will continue to be thanks to him.

There's two redheaded women are very nice and 2 dark hair lady very nice there's one very old lady short lady with glasses and gray hair not very nice at all wouldn't let you use the restrooms in this establishment at all very rude about it this needs to be as soon as possible 😞

Wonderful staff that are all friendly and hard working. The 1 star rating is due to the toxic gaseous fumes that invade the store daily from the Bristol VA landfill. It is repulsive and is seeping into your retail and grocery items. I can smell it in my bread I bought. 🤢 I hope corporate understands the hazardous environment their staff works in there and compensates them well!

Dollar general, like any other, shelves crammed with merchandise, handy to run in and grab, prices to rival the superist of Super Walmarts. Checkout clerks, friendly and eager to help you find that one thing that you know you don't really need but will chastise yourself for going home without. Great store. Love it as always.

It never has enough people running the only 2 registers they have. Seems to me they'd have 3 registers and three cashier's. No reason why when it's so busy one person has to wait on ppl when there is a register a manager can open that's just chilling working in the office or if someone's cleaning stocking them come help. Seems this would speed up the accumulation of ppl stating waiting in line for 20 minutes. I also think leaving stock piled up in carts and things all nineteen the already tight isles. Just saying staff is very friendly and courteous except in not knowing how to work as a whole by knocking out the customer waiting 25 to an hour at times in line which is just lack of management or dollar store folks ain't got a handle on how their stores are operated. Always very clean though and great amount of lots of different sections.

I just ran in on my way home and picked up a couple valentine's cards. This store was kind of busy. May have been due to the holiday. I don't frequent this store often enough to know normal traffic for it.

They have regular sales on their soft drinks that are better than anywhere else. Easy to locate what ur looking for. Employees are friendly and helpful. Love their $1 aisle!!

Upon entering, mask are provided for the public on a table to the left. When I arrived it was busy, both registers were backed up. However, checkout was quick, and the associates were friendly.

Glad the Dollar General was open on Christmas Eve. I was able to buy a couple food items since the grocery store was closed. However, I'm highly frustrated right now because I spent a couple bucks on a jar of jalapenos that were for making taco soup tomorrow. The flimsy plastic bag they gave to put my groceries in busted. My jar of jalapenos broke allover the sidewalk before I could even get them home! This is insane! Stop making and supporting plastic! It is useless!

For some reason this location doesn't seem to have the same selection of items as other Dollar General stores in the area. Still a good store, and the folks that work there are very friendly.

Friend of mine went in and tried to buy cigarettes. He was an elderly man and was turned away because he apparently wasn't smelling great. This too me is really sad. I mean there are circumstances beyond his control or anybody he currently lives with. He walked to that store and was turned away. I am speechless. Idk what else to say other than I'm disappointed.

Dollar general is a good conveniently located, conveniently sized less than a mile from my house store to go to when you don't want to go to Walmart or a bigger store

No customer service what so ever. I even had a manager use vulgar language toward me at the Dollar General in between ext. 13 and 10 on Lee hwy in Bristol Va.
