Our first time boarding EVER! We were so nervous and unsure about leaving the babies. My doodles REALLY loved Lake Gaston Dog Boarding! The staff was really great at communication, providing photos, and asked a lot of questions regarding their care! They made sure to help us (my entire family) feel safe and comfortable leaving our fur babies in their care. Definitely recommend and WILL use them again!

Lake Gaston Dog Boarding came highly recommended by a neighbor and on facebook. We had to leave town for a business trip. We have used another boarding kennel in the past. They were expensive and just OK also they would not let our dogs stay together. This was not the case with LGDB. They were terrific. We booked a double run and the dogs could stay together. Picked them up this morning our dogs were not real excited to see us. I think they really enjoyed their stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely use their services next time we have to leave our dogs behind. Thank you LGDB for taking such good care of our pets.

I loved how everything was set up to cater to ANY fur baby. The staff there were the best. We took two babies there for a weekend. They were looking happy an playing. No signs of trauma or abuse. An you know as a fur parent. You can just tell. My babies didn’t want to leave no matter how happy they were to see us. They will be going back. Very soon. I give them 100 stars.

Ellie had a wonderful experience at LG Doggy Daycare. She played with others and completely worn out from today. Got in car and went to sleep. Wonderful staff that takes pics of your fur child and post on FB. Staff very kind and you can tell they love fur babies.

A few years ago we boarded our dog here during an emergency. When we got her back she was obviously ready to go home but was in good shape/health. The employees were very nice and took her on relatively short notice. She's not friendly with other dogs and they said they would keep her segregated from the other dogs. Was impressed.

Beautiful facility, boarders are super nice. The groomer was HORRIBLE!!! I can't even describe how poor this haircut was. I have FAR more to say, but PLEASE hire someone competent for grooming services.

My baby Missie LOVES it here! By the third day, she would cry when leaving & in the mornings she can tell when shes going! She gets so excited!! When i drop her off, she jumps out and runs to them! I'm sad she doesn't say bye to me , LOL. By far the best place i know , my baby is safe and loved and meeting new dogs her size. The price!!! is awesome and helps so much! Best owners hands down! Thank you!

Best boarding place I've ever used. The staff and so kind and helpful. they really love animals. I have a rescue that was abused. They offered for me to bring her in to see the place and meet the owners. She had a blow out in my car on the way there. They gave her a bath, helped me clean the crate without charging me. I will continue to use them for as long as I'm in the area. There are a wide range of services available as well.

Love Erica and Lake Gaston Kennels. They are so good with my Sasha. She gets all kinds of quality time with other dogs. I don't work but still take my big baby to daycare so she can have fun with her friends.

It was a new environment for our German shepherd. He was there for 4 days. On the 4th day he received a spa treatment which was second to none! Aries will be going back for more spa days. Outstanding service top shelf! Thanks again 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The folks that run this place are great. Friendly and seem to love the animals. Our dog always comes back happy. I gave it four stars because the size of the facility does not allow for a lot of exercise for the bigger dogs. But they make the most of what they have.

I came into town from Atlanta, GA for deaths in my family and needed a place for my energetic pyppp to stay while I handled things. LKGDB was incredible. They accommodated us when we weren't totally sure what our needs were (day care vs. boarding) and when we realized we needed our pup to stay longer, it was no issue. We we're a little jealous when we picked him up because our pup didn't want to leave. The staff was so kind and helpful and spoiled our fur baby like we do. They even gave us pictures of him playing outside. He can't wait to come back and we'll always trust in their care.

I trust only them with my animals when we go out of town. Friendly staff and my dog loves going. They even upload pictures to Facebook of my dog having fun which makes me feel better about leaving him. Love this place.
