My husband and I eat at the Bracey, Va. location very often. The food and service is always great. Best of all, we are always greeted coming in the door with, welcome to Huddle House. We usually see friends from Kenbridge, Va. South Hill, Va. and North Carolina, too. Looking forward to going for breakfast next Saturday.Also, sign up for the reward program, it’s a great benefit!

I would never eat breakfast here again. The waitress was great. My food wasn't. I deconstructed my breakfast bowl. I ate the eggs, crispy potatoes, though not seasoned at all and the bacon. The lukewarm, canned sausage gravy was terrible. And the cook put it all over the food. The waitress said a large plate of hash browns came with the bowl. These were not seasoned, undercooked, soggy and sat in a pool of grease. I gave those away. I could not believe it. It was so bad. I wouldn't try this restaurant again.

If I could give no stars, I would! Absolutely worse place I've ever been to. The waitress was completely clueless, with no common sense at all. Got the order wrong and came back 3x to ask for it again. Took 30 min for mozzarella sticks no sauce brought salad after everyone was done eating with no dressing. Asked for something, and she walked by 3x and never brought it. The food was not great. Will never be back here again!!

Slow & Inexperienced Service for Saturday Breakfast! An hour and a half for an omelette and turkey sandwich. Not enough staff to accommodate a typical breakfast rush. Staff weren't phased by long wait times as if it happens every week. Cooks are disorganized. We sat at the bar and watched 5-6 meals get made incorrectly and thrown out. Food was not worth it. Have had tastier meals from McDonald's. Save your time and money!!

After reading some of the reviews I was nervous walking in the door. I find majority of them way off,though. Place is clean, and waitresses are personable. Food was cooked perfect. Not from the area, truck driver, so this Huddle House is not as bad as some of the reviews state. My waitress was Taiya, and she was friendly and attentive.

10/28/23 First time going, food was bland, not even butter was added to the grits. Food was hot but it was awful. Bread had butter on it but wasn't even toasted. It's not like they were busy so they could of taken their time. Was not greeted when I walked in, but noticed the Waitress did great the guy who walked in 10 min after we had. Will not be returning.

This is the worst service I've had at a restaurant in a long time. When we walked in, no one greeted us. They ignored us for about 4 minutes. The dining room is at half capacity and yet we've waited an hour to get our food. The cooks stand back there talking and laughing, chatting on their phones, while people are waiting forever for their food. None of them have masks or gloves on, and they're touching their faces and bodies, then handling food with their bare hands. The guy that looks like the manager just walks back and forth acting like he is busy but accomplishing nothing. He isn't talking to any staff. He isn't motivating them to work faster, and he isn't helping them get food cooked. What would these people do if they had the whole dining room open and filled? This place needs new management and staff who aren't lazy and slow as molasses.

Horrible service experience - we waited 20 minutes for menus and drinks as the waitress (Tyeshia) assigned to our area went to great effort to ignore us and pretend we weren’t there even after making eye contact several times. She made snide remarks for all to hear indicating she just could not get a break, obviously speaking of us and other customers. Huddle House do Tyeshia a favor and give Walmart a reference as her non customer friendly, don’t want to work attitude is comparable to their customer service expectations. Her wages could be divvied between Angela and the other staff who hustled the entire time we were there.

Breakfast: Tried today was absolutely delicious! From waffles to eggs to grits’s!Previous 2023:Food was awful (lunch and dinner menu) had burgers and chicken strips. Fist we got home missing items from our order that was read back to us over the phone... Missing items were not on receipt so was it never put in? Anyhow burgers way overcooked, Fries meh. Chicken Tenders taste like they were cooked with shrimp gross. Tots were okay. Overall would not recommend the dinner and lunch menu.... might try the breakfast not sure after this experience. Overall felt gross to eat.

I have been there before and the food was better before. The menu is 3 pages of breakfast foods and 1 page of entrees. The waffle was overcooked and hard, and the french fries were tasteless. The side salad, however, was fresh and much larger than expected. Pancakes were large and cooked well, and the BLT was large but the tomatoes were definitely not the best. The waitress was nice, did her job, and received a tip based on her service and not the food 👍

Not taking orders over the phone or online just hurts the business and the server's. She said you have to come in or place the order online but online says the store doesn't accept order's. This place needs new management it's part of the truck stop they should be so busy that this store makes all kinds of money, but they are missing out on opportunities for more order's. Truck drivers have a clock and certain times to be to places we can't waste all day inside if we are to make money.
