They had everything we needed, plus a few things we didn't know we needed. The fishing gear was incredible. And the customer service was fantastic - genuine smiles! I had to get a t-shirt to remember them by. A great stop!!Stopped again on our way out of the park. The food being served and the chatting going on. Definitely a hometown feel!! Must stop!!

Awesome place ran by great people. Great spot to stop on the way to fish at Kerr Dam, they have an impressive selection of fishing gear including custom rods and lots of handmade baits.

Gills is great. This was our first trip to Kerr lake Dam area and Gills was a continuous place of provision for us. They have just about everything one would need for camping, fishing, boating, and general groceries including pet food. They just a couple minutes away and have a friendly staff. All around great experience!

Mainly because they have 93 non-ethanol in a real pump! A boon for air cooled motorcycles (Harley's). Was riding up near Kerr dam and happened across this quaint county store/gas station. Very clean, neat and nice little store off the beaten path with just about everything you may need.

Stopped by on a bicycle tour. I couldn’t believe how friendly and clean the place was. The owner and I had a lengthy conversation and I was glad to meet her. What a wonderful stop on the way to Kerrs Dam.

A little high on pricing but they are the only place in town, so you pay for convenience. Folks that run the store are damn nice folks.
