Quintessential drive-in food. A buddy of mine and I rode up on our motorcycles today to grab lunch. Service was STELLAR! Burgers and dogs and fries were all excellent. Prices were great.They've got a couple of picnic tables if you don't want to sit in your car or take it to go.Clean. Fast. Friendly. Delicious.

The 2 girls that helped me make my selection were fantastic. They had a positive attitude.Just to let you know this establishment is cash only. It's like an old drive-in, just no car-hops.I like support local establishments.I had the chuckwagon sandwich with lettice, tomato, with mustard and onion rings.Can't eat inside, they do have plenty of picnic tables available, but Google asks the question.

A shared historical, local experience. Been enjoying the chili dogs for over 45 years and counting. The tradition continues every year when going back home for the holidays with my kids. You can tell an out of towners' review because they don't get the 'yelling of the order', the food style or the eating in the car. That's OK though. Dairy Dell is clearly the winner when you look across the street at Hardee's or even Burger King.

Get your breakfast of champions here!! Bacon,egg ,and cheese on toast is my go to and the bacon is always nice and crispy! Ad in some fries or a hash brown and some perfectly sweet southern the way it should be tea and you have it made!! Oh don't forget the ice cream. I know you are saying you can't have that for breakfast and normally I'd listen to you but there is something great about ice cream first thing in the morning or any time of the day for that matter!

Food was amazing for a mom and pop joint, that being said, I asked for onion on my burger. And in doing so, I did not mean literally half an onion on my burger. I don’t quite see how this accidentally happens so someone in the kitchen must be having a good laugh.

Good food. Update : food is not as good but almost twice as expensive. Very disappointed. Even free food doesn't taste good. Dairy dell needs to reevaluate the quality of their food. This is ridiculous.

Reminded me of the burgers the cafeteria ladies used to deal out in high school. Dry, lukewarm, low-quality meat. Tasted like it was prepped 2 hours ago. Shake was too thick to be enjoyed with the straw provided. Limited outdoor seating (no indoor). No restrooms. Paid $9 for a burger and shake, so not a bargain by any stretch. Not recommended!

Besides the guy in the window hollering he could help whomever is next -while I was standing in front of the window, Our hotdogs tasted watery, boiled all day -bland & mushy. My strawberry nut sundae had old tasting nuts , & the few strawberries that was on it left me under the impression they were running low on strawberries.The young lady that took our order was very courteous, Polite.

The service was nice and the young lady was friendly. The prices are about what you'd expect for a local ice cream shop. I didn't try the food, only the ice cream cone. Definitely worth the time.Today I ate the lunch, the burger was excellent though the onion rings were way overcooked. The service was fast and very friendly. Still a good place to go.

Old style, Pic up and go drive-in, there is a picnic table and you could eat in the parking lot. Heard someone pick up a call in order. Place to stop when traveling through South Boston. Cheeseburger was like from the backyard. Good clean crisp lettuce and tomato. Hot Dog was good but if you are up in the air about the 2 go for the burger. Large drink, no complaints but way bigger than I thought. Fair prices, cash only, was busy but the line ran smooth, and wonderful service. No reason to settle for a chain fastfood joint when traveling through. Will be my got to spot there for a quick good meal. Don't let a standing line deter you. The orders came up quick and people were in and out. Always wanted to stop here and wish I had before now. My other regret is not eating in the parking lot and trying some of the ice cream I saw people get

Busy place 1st time there. Ordered 2 milkshakes and 2 large hand dipped cones, told later out of that flavor so I said give me a twist and chocolate soft serve instead. Gave me a small cone of chocolate, I asked is this a large? She said yes until customer behind me said "That's not a large" Then gives me a large twist cone dumped into a cup. And another small chocolate also dumped into a cup. I realize people get busy but don't try to rip someone off over a cone of ice cream???

Cash only. Very generous with the bacon on my breakfast sandwich. The bacon cheeseburger all the way is the best in town!! Order ahead if you'd like to grab and go, if not, there's a couple minutes wait if they're slow. If they're busy, 15 to 20 minutes wait. Not cheap but not too expensive either. Enjoy!

Staff were friendly, outdoors eating area was clean, order was correct, food was hot. Topping on hotdogs were a little lackluster and there were a bunch of overly fried and burnt pieces of ?batter? in the fries and onion rings. Chocolate shake was too thick, as usual, practically like soft serve. Great price for the food.

The burgers are amazing, and the ice cream selections are delicious (they have hand dipped as well as soft serve). The staff are friendly and this is a drive in restaurant but the area outside they keep clean. Someone had dropped ice cream in the parking area before we arrived and when my dad got out to walk to the window to place our order the gentleman working there told him to watch his step not to step in the ice cream and was bringing warm water to clean up the mess. This is a great local staple and if you're passing through give them a try!

Great food. Had the ribeye biscuit, best I’ve ever had. This is going to be my new regular place.Update: had a double bacon burger and it was terrible. It had clearly been sitting around for a while and was worse than McDonald’s.
