This place was featured in our Electric Co-op magazine and the food looked amazing. We drove by the food trailer once because it had the name Kahuna. And the presentation wasn’t very appealing. I am sure glad we went back because it is hands down the best seafood I’ve eaten. I never cared for scallops because they were always gritty. These scallops were lightly breaded and delicious with no grit. We ordered the fish, shrimp and scallops. It comes with fries and a few packets of sauce. The order was more than enough to feed 2 of us. Mr Breedlove was very kind and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit. My mouth is watering just thinking of Mr Breedloves seafood.

OMGsh, THE BEST fried fish ever, seasoned to perfection. All dad kept saying was THANK YOU LORD, after every bite. He won't share 1 shrimp!!!!Parking: Call it on, and slide out!

Being very honest, we were a little sketchy about trying this place when we pulled up. It doesn't look like much, but in this case, looks were certainly deceiving. The owner was super nice to our party of 12 hungry guys, and went out of his way to chat with us. The food is made to order so give it a few, but its worth it. Homemade batter, and it was cooked to perfection. Crispy, delicious and 1 large group of hungry guys super pleased that we stopped here for dinner.

Honestly, we walked right by this little white food truck at first, because it had a hot dog sticker on it and said Kahuna’s. After asking at the gas station, they said it was right next door, and indeed it was the little white food truck. Barely noticed the sign stating it was Breedlove’s.But, as the other reviewers mentioned, once there, we ordered a variety of fried seafood including scallops, shrimp and catfish, along with fries and hush puppies. Total was $32, and boy was it worth it. The batter was not too thick and it was seasoned just right to let the fish flavor come through. The scallops and catfish practically melted in my mouth.Breedlove himself has been cooking fish for others for 50+ years and is just the friendliest guy to sit and chat with in between all the call-ahead orders he was handling.I feel lucky to have been able to stop by and experience Breedlove’s!

Every since I was a kid Ive ate seafood from Breedlove's. They are always nice and make you feel welcomed whenever you stop by. They always have done an excellent job with making sure the food was of the best quality possible and they cook it to order to ensure it's fresh for their customers everytime! I feel right at home as if we're actual family when I visit because that's the type of atmosphere they provide for this customers! I'd recommend them to anyone!

If you like fish and food trucks, Breedlove has a tasty treat for you. I got a plate this week with shrimp, scallops, fish, and fries for $19. Buy some shrimp and scallops at any seafood restaurant and blow that budget right out of the water! Loved the food, and had more than I could eat. I will definitely visit again soon.

Just terrible! Thought it was ah restaurant. Sadly mistaken looked like ah old bust down food truck that look like a shack ! Worst of all food was supposed to be fried but was soggy and 🤮 ! Threw the whole plate out the window !!!! WASTE OF MONEY 🤦🏽‍♂️

Breedloves seafood is a wonderful, one of a kind experience of Southern Hospitality and Great Fried Fish/and or/ Shrimp Plates. Even have the combo platter. I'm a Shrimp fanatic......so I recommend getting a DOUBLE shrimp plate because ONE Will Please you but TEASE you!!

Oh My Stars....no this isn't a restaurant but if you ever happen to go to South Boston Va, you will not be disappointed. Breedlove's have been around for years and the fish plates or fish,shrimp and fries are very delicious.

Very tasty and filling fried fish portions at a very reasonable cost. You can even call ahead and it's piping hot, ready to take home and eat when you arrive.

Hole in the wall Seafood meal the fish is cooked per order and the conversation was friendly and my food was fresh tasting it was good and hot they are only open 3 days a week I recommend you check them out if you are in the area

Breedlove alway has great food if you are looking to grab something and go it takes about 10 to 12mins for your food to be ready...I wish he would open a restaurant so you can sit in and eat.
