Dirt farm has the most beautiful view of all the breweries in that area. A must stop. There is not a lot of seating inside. Although plenty outside if it’s not to windy.The beer was ok. We found nothing we cared for .

We stopped in here early afternoon on a Saturday after running a 10k across the road at Great Country Farms. Just a quick beer but the location is beautiful. It was a bit cold so we sat inside but the patio would be a great place to sit on a nice night. Ther was a food trailer out front but they might also have a kitchen because the trailer looked closed but we saw some people getting food. I had the tart cherry beer and it was very good. Parking is a stone lot. Bartenders were friendly.

Dirt Farm had consistently been a favorite getaway destination after a long week of work. It's a bit of a drive for us and had been worth it. Beer was okay; good seasonals. Vibe was beautiful and welcoming. Watching it expand for past 6 years has been exciting. And food was pretty good... Until now.We had the most disappointing night up on the hill recently. We've been going to Dirt Farm for some 6 years and particularly the last couple years specifically for the fish fry. Tonight was 100% nothing like the past many times we've had their fish. Before it was ample, well seasoned, and consistently well prepared. And the system of ordering ahead ensured a 2 hour drive up would culminate in an expected meal. We waited about an hour to receive platefuls of disappointment. And those fries you see in the photo? Nope. They served it with rock hard, cold waffle fries on this recent visit. Terrible. False advertising in a number of ways, including kicking multiple groups of people in the middle of dining out of a room that suddenly became reserved for a party, leaving many of us without seats. I let them know our disappointment in both the fish and fries (not even mentioning it was flavorless, which we even heard an older whyte woman saying it was flavorless and needed seasoning) on a post. They didn't hold accountability. They instead deleted the comment. (Edit: I see they now unhid the comment but my wife did not see it.) This is one of many reasons tonight's vibe was absolutely nothing like what we've experienced before. And a 20+ year Marine veteran left disrespected. With so very many consistently great options in the commonwealth, it's a hard pass on Dirt Farm now.

I try to visit local breweries at least twice a month, and this place is one of the better ones. The scenery from the brewery is spectacular, and the beer they serve is really good. When I visited, they were hosting a trivia game night, which seemed very fun. While I didn't participate, everyone who joined in was having a great time. They have a food truck next to the brewery, and it offered some good food.

This was a cool place to visit. Views are incredible! There are cottages you can stay at on the property also, which is awesome! I wish you could bring your own food though. The day we went it was so packed so we could only sit in the sun and it was very very hot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Huge plus for for gluten sensitivity, their beers only have 20 ppm so I was able to have a sour. I've missed them so much. We would definitely visit again.

Great views! And a friendly staff, I enjoyed a nice brew and took in the spectacular views from the great place.Revisited the brewery this week, the brew, the staff were great. And the pizza was delicious! This place is a winner.

$12 hot dog drenched in catchup after ordering one with only catchup and getting one with everything but catchup. Nice views but everything is expensive. No umbrellas out on a sunny day but $25 hats. Beers were good though.

Hillside brewery offering delicious views and tasty beers. Food offerings are simple (flat bread, nachos, pretzels, and hummus etc) but they offer a wide massive terraced patio offering lots of tables and amazing views. Grassy area nearby. Families and puppies abound. Pro-tip visit on a weekday when crowds are thinner and feel like you OWN it.

The only reason I’m giving Dirty Farm Brewery four stars instead of five is that the food options were somewhat limited. Although they had some snacks available, I would have loved to see a more extensive menu with food offerings that complemented their excellent beers.Overall, Dirty Farm Brewery in Blue Mount is a must-visit for any craft beer enthusiast. With its picturesque location, friendly staff, and exceptional brews, it’s an experience that’s hard to beat. I highly recommend checking it out and indulging in the flavors they have to offer.

Beautiful scenery with Mountain View’s. They have a good amount of space, it’s fairly easy to find a spot even on weekends when it tends to get crowded. Live music on weekends. Beers are fresh and the service is friendly. It’s also family friendly, al says aye plenty of kids (and there is a sandpit!) and dogs around. Parking can get tough, you often have to hop uphill on a gravel road to a secondary parking lot as the main tends to get packed.

Place had some awesome hanging spots, all over the place nice seating tables, good quality drinks and food options. A little hilly for the the walk from the parking to the venue, long lines for the food trucks and limited variety for beers BUT a really good time with amazing views, that will probably make you feel great about choosing this place to visit.

We went to Dirt Farm Brewing today for the first time. They had the Nomini Bay Oyster Fest. The Farm has a really nice view . The set up is really nice and the grounds are kept well and very clean.There is also a food truck on the premises. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and accommodating.The Nomini Bay Oysters are out of this world. I have never seen oysters that big and tasty.We had a good experience.

Beautiful location, excellent views. Staff is fast and friendly. There’s plenty of seating. There was a decent selection of beers. I didn’t have any food, but they did have a decent menu. Very family friendly. I saw lots of little kids there. Busy busy busy on a Saturday- even when it was cold & gray outside.

It's a bit of a climb to get here, but it reveals an awesome spot to enjoy a beverage on a warm summer day. Better yet, the beverages are fantastic. Definitely stop if you're in the area..... 7.6/10

Love Dirt Farm! The perfect reward after hiking Sky Meadows or Cool Springs. Boots Off is our favorite brew and the food is delicious- but most of all the view is spectacular.

Love this place - and that’s just after two visits in one week!We were in the area at wine tastings and our friends suggested ending the day with a “quick pint” at Dirt Farm! Well, that was a great idea.Great beer, superb friendly staff and just an amazing location and views.The food (lunch on the second visit) was simple, tasty and good value from the resident ‘food truck’ and I hear that they regularly have themed food options the first weekend of each month! Eg oysters and seafood!Just like Arnie, I’ll be back (regularly)!

Wonderful beer and food with a view that can’t be beat! This is one of the most peaceful stops in the area. They have tons of outdoor seating, and there is more being constructed. It’s the perfect place to watch a sunset or go on a date. There is a food truck outside that has a variety of food including one vegetarian option. There is a snow cone place when the weather is warmer. I go here multiple times a year, and it is always fun.

First time here and loved it. Amazing views. Good finger foods. The beers were really good and lots to choose from. Must have been 10-12 to choose from. My favorite was made with cherry, forgot the name of it but it was fantastic, which surprised me since I don't usually like fruit flavors in beer. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of Adirondack chairs and picnic tables on the lawn so you don't have to squashed together with random people. Even saw corn hole games on the lawn as well.

Been here a few times. Amazing location with great views. Fresh beer. Seasonal Som's peach was nice. Live music sometimes. It tends to get very busy sometimes, parking might be bit of an issue. Ample seating. 4-5 seating spots.Food needs a lot of improvement. Tried falafel and loaded fries. Both were passable.

Great brewery on top of a hill in Bluemont, overlooking a vineyard. There were two food trucks when we went, one serving delicious items like beef dip and chips, pulled pork with fried potatoes, shrimp tacos, and wings, and the other one serving oysters.

We were trying to go to Bear Chase Brewing but the lot was full, so we wandered down the road a bit to Dirt Farm. We had a really fantastic time here. The beers were fantastic! They have all the usual suspects you would expect from an American brewery - three varieties of IPA, a red, a brown, a lager, and a few different fruit beers. Everything we tried was really good. However, we were really blown away by the atmosphere. First of all, they are on the side of a mountain that offers ridiculous views of Loudoun County. The patio and lawn areas are beautiful, and there is plenty of seating and additional space for kids and dogs. The facilities are beautiful. They have cultivated a great farmhouse vibe. There are events and specials here almost every night, and they offer military discounts. We had a great time here, and I highly recommend checking it out.

LOVED THIS PLACE!!! The pumpkin ale was SO GOOD ugh cant wait to go back and have more! We happened to go the weekend of shrimp and oysters so we had some dang fresh seafood with our brews and it was delicious 😋 we also had the beer cheese and pretzels and it was really good! This place would be amazing to have an event or wedding, and the views are fantastic! It looks like they have a sunflower farm too in case ya want more insta worthy pics hahah

Loved it. Great beer and incredible views! I'm a fan of lambics and enjoyed their Sour Cherry very much.Plenty of seating both indoors and out. We enjoyed a warm October afternoon while sipping beer, and food from the food truck.We'll be back.
