Absolutely, hands down the best I've cream I have had outside of Amish country in Ohio.I had the ice cream flight, such a fun packaging idea.🤩. Salted caramel was the right amount of Carmel flavor and salt. The butter pecan was very cream! The coffee Oreo, of you like coffee ice cream and if you like cookies and cream ice cream, this one is for you! The coffee ice cream has a nice strong coffee flavor but it is not overwhelming. Highly recommend the ones I tried! Also want to mention that they make their waffle cones fresh!They have a large area outside for kids to play and a porch with rocking chairs. Didn't visit that but it looked fun.Loved the history of the farm. Take the time to read it. This family had tragedy strike just after they began bottling their milk and they persevered and have an incredible legacy.The cow of the month is too cute. Shows that they love their animals and look after them well!Parking: Lots of parking.

According to friends we just "could not" pass through Blackstone without stopping here, and it turned out to be just the recommendation we needed to help shine some light on our otherwise gloomy day.Their team was polite, patient, and proud to allow us to savor the samples of the flavors they've perfected so far. Though Banana Pudding was a close contender, my mother-in-law ultimately picked Coffee Oreo, while I went with a scoop of Butter Pecan.My wife and her pop enjoyed their milkshakes and sipped them down so fast that I was surprised they didn't get brain freeze. Then again, her pop also got a speeding ticket 20 minutes later. So, he probably just needs to slow down in general.

xcellent ice cream and an affordable cost. We drive through here once a year. We are never disappointed. Ice cream is creamy and has great natural flavoring and homemade waffle cones. I got 2 scoop strawberry ice cream and honey zinger. Honey Zinger was surprisingly excellent! Strawberry ice had a good amount of strawberry chunks. The place is clean and tidy. Welcoming staff. They also had tee shirts, local honey,eggs, and much more!

Very cute place. Come here for the car show. Please for the love of everyone’s sanity. Please put in more than one register. Waited over 30 minutes in line for 2 scoops of ice cream, and then had to wait in another line just to pay.

Wonderful family owned farm. The dairy was amazing! There are viewing windows into the processing area. Walls were covered with wonderful photos going back generations. The store is bright and airy. I bought a gallon of milk, a quart of chocolate milk and got 2 half gallons of ice cream (chocolate and coffee). The ice cream is so rich and the milk so fresh. They offered cups and homemade waffle cones to eat your ice cream there. There was some fresh vegetables for sale too. There was a play area for the kids around the side.Can't wait to go back and have a waffle cone!

An unwelcome feeling:I am not sure if I can chalk this up to just an individual employee or the business as a whole. It’s been a while since I felt so unwelcome in a place. I traveled an hour with my wife and 3 year old daughter. Just looking to spend a nice Saturday with them and get some fresh ice cream and shakes. We’ve always passed this place on the way to Martinsville for Christmas and I always said I would take my family one day. Well today was the day and it was not a good one. We get there and another customer is heading out the door and just brushes by me like I didn’t exist, no excuse me or anything. I didn’t think too much about it until I got to the counter. I wasn’t greeted in any way. The employee was a young lady probably in high school or freshly graduated. She barely bothered to part her mouth to say a few words to me. I asked about the dairy and how we could probably walk around and all she said was “You can’t walk around the dairy” No other explanation or anything. Didn’t tell me if there were any activities or anything else. She was very short and cold in her response. When she looked at me, it felt like she stared at me. Almost like she was looking through me. I could tell she wanted absolutely nothing to do with me. I really try not to play the race card, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that we just didn’t belong there. I walked outside to let my kid play on the playground and looked at my wife. She felt the same thing and she just wanted to leave. My kid was really excited too. She thought she was going to see some animals and get ice cream. Her heart was broken because we had to go, and that probably pissed us off the most. Just imagine having a talk with a 3 year old about how you can be treated differently because of the way you look. I really hope that wasn’t the case and it was just a moody/lazy teenager. However, I just can’t shake the feeling I had.

We found Richlands Creamery this past Saturday with our grandkids. We found out they have a large pumpkin patch, so thought what a great idea for the kids for get pumpkins for Halloween with an ice cream treat on the side. What a great family friendly place this is!!!. Affordable pumpkins and lots of activities for the kids (hay ride, corn maze, playgrounds, farm animals to pet, etc.). The staff is friendly and customer service is top notch and the ice cream is awesome. We will make this our family go-to from now on for pumpkins in fall and great ice cream all the time. I will share this gem with our family and friends as no one should miss out on this great place.

Our Girl Scout Troop took a trip today and I was so incredibly impressed with our visit!! We took an educational tour of the Farm with Brittany. She was fantastic!! To our delight a baby calf was born while we were there! We got to see what food they eat, where they feed at, the Calf nursery and milking stations. We took a lovely hayride and learned about growing pumpkin seeds. The food was top notch and the ice cream is unparalleled. I have never tasted ice cream so smooth! Even better was the staff at Richlands. Everyone was gracious and amazing. Brittany and Savannah made the day seamless. We will definitely be back--the girls loved their visit and couldn't stop talking about it!

There ice cream taste so good. I had the Vanilla Crunch in a waffle bowl. I highly recommend it. The strawberry jam taste amazing. Definitely got to place for homemade ice cream

Well worth a visit! I loved everything about this place - warm atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and great environment to hang out. The outdoor porch had rocking chairs in the shade and an amazing playground.

We stumbled on this gem on our recent road trip… as in we passed the creamery then drove up via the dirt road. We tried a variety of ice cream flavors (6) and everyone LOVED their scoop. Although our 6 year old picked the best flavor: cotton candy! The flavor was spectacular and we were all surprised to have enjoyed it so much!The lunch menu looks good and the shop is super cute! We’re looking forward to coming back for lunch and ice cream on our next trip through.

I’ve been to Richlands quite a few times with my kids to get lunch, play, then get ice cream. The area is pretty it’s a nice drive and just a relaxing place to take your kids. I love the food, and ice cream that is made. They also have a very limited food menu in the winter because food costs are expensive and they are less busy. I get that. What I don’t understand is how the service is so slow. Every time I go there is employees ready to take my order right away. At least 4-6 employees up front and working on food. I think they need a number system and to have you pay for your food at the time of ordering. I wait at least 10-20 minutes every time I order a sandwich for lunch. I went on Friday after not have gone since this summer. Carol is always there and a great worker. This girl that took my order was just not very pleasant, none of the employees were. The girl did not have her name tag on, she had necklaces on and had shorter hair and glasses. Our food was up at the counter and she looked at me over in the seating section and was like “your food is ready “ didn’t say that or anything until I started looking around. Then when I came in for ice cream she was standing around and the older lady in front of me looked at her and asked for ice cream she responded with “they will get you over there” but she proceeded to take my order almost immediately after. No one was smiling or greeted us except carol. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be coming here for lunch. I might just come to play and get ice cream.

Was very excited to visit this extremely popular local creamery. It did not disappoint. Although there was a crowd, the line moved quickly, and the employees were cheerful and helpful. Be sure to look at all the pictures on the wall in the main room, then down the hallway so you can see their "hall of fame" for their favorite cows. It's awesome to see a family that cares like the Jones family. Keep up the great work, will definitely come again!

Love love love the ice cream! Stopped by today and they were selling from the food truck. Blackberry Cheesecake flavor did not disappoint, and the service was exceptional- so friendly! Definitely recommend.
