Great store to buy Asian ingredients at a decent price. Things I buy range from spices (soy sauce, sesame oil, white pepper) to snacks (sunflower seeds, shrimp crackers) to food (Phoenix buns, Korean pancakes, Asian yams).

One of my favorite places to shop for produce, groceries and treats. They always a good variety. The focus is mostly Asian, but there's still a lot of options. Prices are reasonable, especially with the current economy, and the staff are all friendly. I always leave out with more than I came in for - and lots of kimchi!

Oasis--aptly named--is a treasure trove covering the majority of your Asian grocery store needs. My favorite part of the store is their produce section! Much of it is grown by local farms and even the staples like onions, tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, and herbs are extra delicious if you buy them from here. I make it a point to stop here first for all my culinary ingredients. Most things are labeled with English, but the camera mode of the Google Translate app can be very useful for things that aren't.

I have been coming here for the past five years. This grocery store has various spices needed for Asian and Indian cooking. They also sell fresh meats like lamb, pork, chicken, and duck and fresh seafood like blue crabs. Another great thing about the store is that they sell different types of frozen parathas, naans, samosas, and various frozen sweets. They do have an imported beer collection and different sake brands. This grocery store is the only one in town that sells a wide variety of international and specialty foods.

It's so nice to have this here in Blacksburg! They don't have everything, but they tend to have a good variety of Chinese products, some Japanese staples, a few Indian items, a couple middle eastern items.They don't restock that often so if you see something you want, get it now.

This is a great store if you’re shopping for worldwide food products and especially Asian food products. The prices are reasonable, with someone a bit more expensive. I am only taking off one star due to the fact that Discover (credit card) is not accepted here! Thankfully I had enough cash on me at the time. Just be sure to have payment that isn’t Discover!

Literally a holy grail. The staff is always nice and the selection is unmatched. I no longer live in Blacksburg but take trips to go to this market. Even if you’re from somewhere else, bring a cooler because you’re gonna find things you never knew you needed. Fresh produce, great meat selection (halal meats too), and tons of dry goods just not available at most stores. They also have a wonderful selection of alcohol and kitchen products too! Products are seasonal often, so going frequently means you’ll be able to find lots of new items they may not have prior, however you will sometimes not be able to find certain brands of items. That can be good if you’re still willing to try something new though!

The only asian grocery store in Blacksburg! Has some indian items but not all, they try to get different products like idli,dhokla mix, Frozen parathas, rasmalai, theplas but you cannot guarantee if the same product will be there when you visit next time. So grab what you want when you see it :)

Lots of Indian goods available here. Basmati rice. In 1 kg packs and 5 kgs.Tur dakl, channa dal, chole etc wide variety of dals.GITS idli mix, waa mix, jalebi mix. Also Indian pickles, papads, Indian branded biscuts.Indian vegetables. Also large variety of cut raw frozen indian vegetables. Like karela, tendli, methi leaves, padbal etc.Must for Indian students in Blacksburg.

The best place in the area to get Asian, Eastern European and Middle Eastern ingredients and treats. We shop here for fresh hot peppers, mushrooms, Thai basil, etc as well as noodles, nori, sauces, seafood, frozen buns, spices, and much more. Definitely worth a stop if your grocery list is hard to track down in rural southwest Virginia. My only caution is that because they really on imports and seasonal sources, you may not always find your favorite.

This is a fantastic place to purchase Asian and other ethnic ingredients. Prices are somewhat higher than a name brand supermarket for typical American staples, but if you cook diverse dishes like we do it's an amazing place! Be sure to try the drinks and snacks. :-)

The imported beer selection is great, and the beer prices are good. The rest of the store is kind of pricey, but you can find a lot of stuff here you can't find other places. Great selection of Asian vegetables, Korean items, crunchy snacks, seafood and Halal meats. It's a lot of fun to dig around and find new things to try out. Also a good selection of candy from around the world.

Prices are higher than all other market, they are in business only because there aren’t any patel brothers nearby.Tip: order from amazon or wallmart if you are not in a rush otherwise this is the last resort.The owner is rude af. Do not expect any kinda customer service.
