Being a senior citizen, a good pharmacy is especially important. My numerous interactions with Blacksburg Pharmacy and all of its staff has been so positive. Everyone I have spoken to has been kind, helpful and professional. They go out of their way to help the customers. Stephanie went out of her way after hours to deliver a much needed prescription last night. I greatly appreciate the owner for having such wonderful support staff to help the customers. 10/10 recommend! Kaylee is my go to she always goes above and beyond every time I go to pick up my prescriptions! She always makes sure all my questions are answered and needs are met! The staff always treats me like family and really are awesome!!! I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

extremely friendly staff that are always willing to go above and beyond what's expected at a simple pharmacy. i will always make this my primary pharmacy even though i don't live in the area anymore. i will come back just to get my prescriptions filled here.

I have had previously positive experiences with Blacksburg pharmacy but I feel like like the service has gone way down. I am no longer receiving notices that my prescriptions are received or filled. If you call to check the status, the phone goes unanswered. When you take a chance to head over there several hours later, the prescription is not ready or you find out that the prescription is out of stock. Inventory issues happen, particularly in winter when COVID is running rampant, however, I was told that I would have to figure out the issue myself and call around to other pharmacies to see who had it in stock. Previously, Blacksburg pharmacy has done their best to try and find meds or direct me elsewhere but never have I been told that it was up to me to find a pharmacy who had it is stock and do all the legwork. This is a lot to ask of someone who is unwell and struggling with COVID or the flu. Luckily, CVS came in for the win and was able to get this handled. It's a shame that the customer service has gone down hill as I was as loyal customer.

We have known Pharmacist Sen well before he opened Blacksburg Pharmacy, (approximately 15 years). He has one of the most efficient businesses, a nice person who really cares about the people who support him. Sensitive to all the issues, well staffed, and has numerous locations. His employees are personable and helpful.I never bother him after work hours, had a weekend medical issue/question. He called me back right away. Really impressed with work ethic and caring ways! The service here is outstanding, until I learned that I was effectively being price gouged. What would have cost me $60 from Amazon pharmacy cost... wait for it, over 60% more or $100!! For the same identical generic medication!! That is utterly overpriced, and frankly taking advantage of the situation. All they did was tear off a few blister packed tablets and put them in a ziplock bag, and for that I get to give them a hundred bucks? Yeah no. Take a hike!!Someone please open a local pharmacy in Blacksburg, these folks are taking advantage of their monopoly!

Excellent Pharmacy AND Service. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I'd always used grocery store pharmacies - and the pharmacists were great. But, when I switched physicians to Direct Primary Care, they recommended I try Blacksburg Pharmacy. I'm so glad I did. Not only are the prices fair, but I always try to go there for any non-prescription items they carry. They even took care of my Flu shot! My wife loves the fact that they deliver. I just picked up some medicine there and had some questions about it. They handled them with ease. I was extremely impressed with their professionalism. Highly recommended.

This pharmacy is the best! When you have a question and need to call them, the phone is answered quickly and by a PERSON! No annoying robot who gives all sorts of info I don't need, or press this button, then that button, to only be put on hold forever. Blacksburg Pharmacy has plenty of friendly staff on hand, and are very anxious to help. I am so glad we switched. It is always a plus to be able to supporting a local business that cares about our community.Wish I could give more stars, like ten or twenty, they deserve them.

I visited yesterday and had a great experience. One of the workers saw me hanging around the nasal sprays for a couple minutes and asked if I needed help, which I did. I never knew there were so many kinds of nasal sprays! He then grabbed one of the pharmacists to answer all of my questions. She was great; she even ordered one of the medicines I needed that they did not carry in stock.

I came in from out of town and stopped at the drive through to pick up a prescription for my mom. The pharmacist recognized the name & came over to the drive through window for a friendly chat (wow), then dropped everything to help me handle a refill I needed for myself when I asked him what to do about the way every Rite Aid in this part of the country has permanently closed. Normally my mom gets per prescriptions delivered and just raves about this place, all I know is the good vibes and stressless service here are definitely contributing to people’s health and well-being.

This is by far the best pharmacy I have ever been to. Incredibly kind, helpful people- ALL of them! I've never had such a wonderful experience with a pharmacy. Ever. After the frustration of dealing with Kroger and CVS, I decided to give them a try- and I will never use another pharmacy as long as I have access to Blacksburg Pharmacy, because they are incredible. Fast, kind, extremely knowledgeable... everything you could possibly ask for. And this is every single visit (and generally go once or twice a month) for two years. Got my flu shot there this year, it was completely painless. I cannot recommend these guys enough!!

I cannot say enough great things about the people at this pharmacy and the wonderful customer service. For example, I had a prescription filled late by vet one evening and the pharmacist rushed to complete it and even offered to stay after closing if I couldn't get there. Everyone I have spoken too and worked with have been so kind and go above and beyond. I try to pick up other items that I need while I am there to support this local business!

What can I say about this local business that would do it justice! Probably nothing, but here is a try. The people who work here are amazingly friendly and service oriented. The business is locally owned. They are helping our city to immunize thousands of people against COVID. They care about their neighbors. I mean, the really care. It’s not just a letterhead slogan. To be clear, I’m just a guy that picks up a prescription from the pharmacy once a month. I don’t have any other affiliation with this business. But they have made such an impression on me during my time in Blacksburg (8 years) that I felt compelled to leave this review.

I have not personally been in here. However, I accidentally mixed this pharmacy up with a different one in town, and they were still so wonderful with helping me. The staff is clearly very caring and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. I have a lot of experience with pharmacies. I've lived and dealt with pharmacies in Florida, California, D.C., and New York City. I never thought I'd find the best pharmacy ever in Blacksburg, Virginia. The staff at Blacksburg Pharmacy is friendly, kind, and so fast; I've never stayed in there longer than fifteen minutes, and my usual wait time is about five minutes. I used to have trouble finding one of my medications and nearly had a panic attack every time I had to fill a prescription for it, but since I found Blacksburg Pharmacy, that anxiety has disappeared. The pharmacist keeps track of what I take and always keeps my medications in stock. You can tell that he runs the business well; his customers are happy, the store is always clean and neat, and his pharmacy techs don't seem harried and annoyed the way techs do at CVS and other chain pharmacies. They treat you like you're a person, which shouldn't be something I have to note in a review as a superlative, but at most pharmacies you're just another problem someone has to deal with. At Blacksburg Pharmacy, you're a patient with legitimate needs that the staff really cares about fulfilling. They'll answer questions in person and over the phone in as much detail as you need, order toiletries for you personally, and deliver prescriptions to your house. And you can feel good about supporting a solid local business. I've never had a better pharmacy experience, and I'll be sad when I graduate, move, and have to switch to another place.

Also, which is very very important did I mention the lowest prices I've literally ever seen! Love this place! I usually don't do reviews, but this pharmacy is definitely the best! Use this pharmacy! Blacksburg Pharmacy is without a doubt the best pharmacy that I have ever been a regular customer of. I only go in once every two months and it is unbelievable that the staff remembers who I am. When I needed to update my insurance information it took about 5 minutes and I was all set up. When my girlfriend or I just have a common cold or something similar we feel comfortable going there and simply asking what they recommend. As a student I always went to CVS or Walgreens because that was where my parents would go back home...now that I have lived in the Blacksburg community for much longer, this is far and a away the best place to go. I almost never review a business but seriously cut out the big chains and go here if you are a new member of the Blacksburg community, you will not be let down.

Everyone is always so pleasant, nice and helpful. Just recently, they didn’t have my prescription at the Blacksburg location so they said they could order it and have it tomorrow or, if their Christiansburg location had it, then they offered to have it sent over and said it would take about 20-30 minutes to have it sent over. I popped into the grocery store to kill some time and get a few things, wandered back over 15 minutes later, knowing I was early and figured I would just wait until it came. But, when I walked in, they waved me over because it was already there and waiting for me. You definitely don’t get that level of service everyday. You guys are great!!
