Happy Hounds K9 Social Club is awesome. We send our chocolate lab to Bryan and Bridget weekly and she could not be in better hands. Darcy, is a sweet eight-year-old, who does not run as fast or play as hard as the rest of the pack. That being said, I know that she is watched to make sure that she doesn’t do too much but also that she is having fun and doing things that she enjoys. The fenced in 2 acre field that the dogs play in is incredible and safe.Darcy has also boarded there and came home as happy as when she left. I felt very comfortable leaving her there for the weekend. The pick up drop/off service is a major plus for us as our work schedules are unpredictable.We could not ask for better care for our sweet pup and recommend them highly for yours.

I highly recommend Happy Hound K9 Social Club! We boarded our 2 dogs for a week and they were treated as part of the family. No kennels, the home has a dog room with tons of dog beds and dog couches! Large fields, completely fenced for the dogs to run in. We picked up two content, settled dogs. I would not hesitate to board my dogs in the future.

HHK9SCHappy Hounds K9 Social Club is the best dog care service I’ve ever used in the 25 years I’ve had dogs! Daisy has attended Happy Hounds Day Care twice a week for two months. Daisy is a Lab rescue who came to live with me at age one last January. She was quite skittish and fearful. While she did make some improvements she still displayed an underlying anxiety. Since going to Happy Hounds she is noticeably more relaxed and playful there and at home. Bryon and Bridget keep the dogs busy and engaged in play. They both have keen intuition and understanding of dog language, personality and behaviors. Daisy is definitely becoming more social when interacting with people and dogs. She gets lots of exercise and plenty of time outdoors in the Happy Hounds beautifully fenced acreage. I recommend that anyone with needs for dog daycare check it out!

There is Cesar Milan the “dog whisperer” and then there is…..well, Bryan and Bridget at the Happy Hound K9 Social Club!!!! Our fur baby is spoiled rotten at this daycare and boarding home. We do not have the land for her to run and socialize…..this place has been a blessing. We had struggled with dog park options but were afraid of some owners who have no control over their pups.Happy Hound is ultra safe and totally under control. From the van ride at the Boonsboro Shopping Center (YES Bryan picks them up in the Happy Hound van - you may have seen it with the drool marks on the windows and excited yipping coming from inside) to the wide open country space where they spend the day - we know they are in great hands. $35 a day???!!!! You betcha! She comes home exhausted and happy. Just go online and check out some of the videos - you’ll be “doggone” glad ya did ❤️ Karin and Jeff (along with Abby of course).

Happy Hound K9 Social Club is one of the best boarding places I’ve used for my dogs. We are very particular who watches our pups. Our pups loved them and when we went to pick them up they were so tired which I LOVED!! 😂 They also kept us updated everyday with how are pups were doing and even sent some photos! They were also very flexible when we could drop and pickup our pups which was very helpful for us! I would recommend Happy Hound K9 Social Club to anyone who needs to board their dogs!

Annie had an absolutely amazing experience being boarded here! She got to maintain a very active lifestyle instead of being shut in a kennel. She enjoyed playing with all the other dogs on daycare days and it was great to get so many pictures and videos as updates

Our Stella loves the club! She’s an energetic husky and gets all the running and exercise she wants. Bryan and Bridget are amazing! We were so fortunate to find them after we moved here to VA! They are very flexible with scheduling, even able to take our pup on short notice. And we know she is getting fantastic care and lots of pets. We get photos and videos while she is there and she is always having a wonderful time, or exhausted and sleeping soundly, resting up for the next day. We are clients for life. For those of you lucky enough to entrust your dog to Bryan Reisz, there is a lab named Duncan ("big chocolate" to Bryan) who is very envious. Bryan came into our lives about 6 years ago when Duncan's human litter mates left for college and he was lonely. Bryan rapidly became a member of the family, particularly for Duncan for would sit by the mudroom door when his internal clock told him it was "romping time". Bryan's concern for Duncan's health and well being was meticulous and we came to depend on his advice for "all things Duncan". Although we miss him (a lot!), we are very grateful for the gift he gave us (a happy, safe and content dog - not trivial with Duncan who is subject to "dietary indiscretion") and we are delighted that more dogs will be able to share that experience. If you have any questions, Bryan has my contact information and I am happy to share our experience, which was nothing but exceptional.PS My favorite picture is the first - Bryan and Duncan always had very long and serious conversations!

Happy Hound is an incredible addition to the Lynchburg area! We started sending our two pups to daycare there two days a week in September and they love it! Depending on your location they provide pickup and drop off which is so convenient. Our dogs get so excited when they see the van pull up and can't wait to jump in! They come home happy and tired. Bryan and Bridget are so kind and sweet to our dogs. He has a special gift reading the pack dynamics and ensuring safe play. We've also boarded with them. They were super flexible and I loved knowing that the dogs were not left alone overnight or crated. I highly recommend them and am thrilled to have found this gem of a place!

Incredible daycare for dogs in a pristine environment designed for dog socialization with endless options for open-space running and exercise! Transportation is a wonderful perk of Happy Hounds K-9 social club, and the owners are exceptional experienced Pack Leaders providing safety and supervision of all participants. My dog is developing much needed social skills interacting with other dogs, supervised by the warm care of these owners. Once he realizes that the day is a Daycare Day he howls with excitement on the way to meet Bryan and Bridget at their van! They often share pics and videos of the dogs interactions which provide a sense of connection!

We have been using Happy Hound K9 Social Club for 2 months now and I can’t say enough positive comments as to how happy were are to give our one year old poodle such an awesome experience. Brian and Bridget both have a great rapport with all the pups. The convenience of door to door pick up and drop off is exceptional. The beautiful farm, large well groomed fenced in areas with a huge sandbox and nature made agility course make this a one of a kind daycare facility. I love seeing the videos on Instagram each day that my dog attends and I’m always seeing Brian present and interacting and Bridget’s excellent video and picture taking skills at work. My high energy poodle pup comes home exhausted. It is so good for her and I feel good about her having an outdoor natural experience. We are so fortunate that Bryan and Bridget have come to Big Island to offer a first rate doggie haven! Whether boarding or coming for a play day your dog will be well cared for. And, your pup will come home tired! Bryan gets out in the 2 acre fenced field to guide play as needed. Then the pack will move up into the smaller yard or the house for rest and toys. Running and play back at the field finishes off their day. To top it off they pick up and return your dog to the Boonsboro area. Bryan is great with the dogs—he is definitely the pack leader—and I always accuse him of getting more kisses from Lulu than I do! Lulu is beginning to learn the T/Th schedule for play days—she is at every window watching for Bryan and the dogmobile! We are so grateful that Bryan and Bridget have come to our area to provide such fun and safe times for our dogs.Happy Hounds is a winner!

Bryan Reisz has taken care of 3 generations of dogs for us, over the past 25+ years. We have the greatest confidence in him and appreciation for all he has done for our dogs and for us. We were so sorry to see him leave Maryland and at the same time so happy for him to be creating what we know will be a fabulous environment for Virginia's dogs.He has taken my dogs for fantastic romps where they can run, play, and be dogs, with a few other dogs so they are well-socialized and well-supervised. He was aware of every dog in his care, and reported to me any possible issues or concerns. Completely reliable and conscientious about safety, the dog's wellness and communicating, I always knew my dogs were safe and very happy with him. He is as kind and caring of the dogs as he is responsible. His rates were reasonable and competitive. When my dogs have boarded with him, we’ve gone away with no doubts or concerns, knowing our dog was in for a great vacation as well --what a great feeling!Bryan is as good as it gets in dog care. In fact, when we got our most recent dog, I checked with Bryan to be be sure he’d be able to care for him. This was our first time using Happy Hound K9 Social Club and we were extremely pleased! The fenced in area for our boxer to run around in was so big it seemed almost free range! She was able to socialize with other dogs and was loved on by the owners like she was their own! Would highly recommend this place to anyone that doesn’t want their dog to feel cooped up or left behind when their families are on vacation or at work!

Bryan had been taking care of my succession of dogs for almost 20 years when he moved. We were very sorry to lose him, but it is Virginia's gain. He was always extremely responsible with them and they loved him back. I can report that they loved staying at his house when I was away. I have a dog with heavy anxiety so finding a place for him is tough. I need to look no longer—Happy Hound was incredible. They were both attentive and knowledgeable about dogs and really cared about their wellbeing. The 2 acre dog park was AMAZING. My dogs didn’t want to come home. I highly recommend them!

By far the nicest grounds my dog has been to! She had an absolute blast playing with the other dogs. They have a gigantic field to explore; an all natural log & stump agility course; a beach sand area to dig in; and shaded rest areas. The property is situated in a tranquil forest with beautiful mountain views. If I were a dog, this is where I would want to hang out. Treat your dog to some time here!
