Great selection of products in a small town! Fresh produce, vast variety of products. More pricey than your average grocery store but they keep the place clean, and well stocked everyday. If you’re in a bind and you need an ingredient fast, this place is right in the center of town so everyone can get there and back quick!

This is the smallest store I have been in But the deli section is fantastic! They have the potato wedges that are so good not overly spicy or dry like Walmarts. The chicken fingers are the same just the right amount of seasonings this makes it a great place to grab lunch, and they have the sushi display too!!As for shopping, like I said it is a small store but I did find some of the usual things I needed. When I was trying to find some snack stuff but the shelves were blocked by a display, and what looked like the manager was talking to a vendor in the same aisle and didn't offer to move the display for me he just let me fend for my handicapped self ?? The only other thing I didn't like was the cashier commenting to my friend who was talking about our dogs saying " I hope this is not for the dogs" referring to the frozen veggies and package of chicken thighs to which my friend replied YES IT IS!!! We don't feed our dogs dry food full of TOXIC CHEMICALS and fillers and highly processed supposed real ingredients. I thought my friend was going to go off on this person I just told her " let's just go! The cashier doesn't know that we have lost 3 dogs to Cancer in the past year and that the health of our last 2 dogs is crucial to us. So I give this store kudos for the things I needed but not so much for the people??

Labels are not properly placed. Yellow stickers are not scanned properly, from time to time. I often have to go to customer service or call them to correct those two types of errors. I do not have this problem in ANY other grocery store. But staff is nice and reimburses you without any problem; however it makes me waste time and I costantly have to pay attention if a price is correctly entered at the cash register. As to special prices if you buy at least 25 dollars worth f grocery, it is another way to waste time: one has to read laels so carefully. Definitely, Martin's approach to labels and pricing is not user friendly at all.

A smaller version of the big store. Friendly staff, good selections and decent prices with the bonus card.

I could only find a small case of ice cream but when I asked another customer, I learned it’s with the dairy on the far side of store! Lots of options here!

Decent grocery store for convenience. Prices are a bit high but the store is clean and the staff are friendly. 3 stars because of their rewards program. You have to get coupons from the flyer and/or load digital coupons to your rewards account (not always but for the actual "good deals" you will likely have to). Unless you put extra work in you will not always get the advertised price. Every time I don't get the advertised price I feel like pouting in the corner. It makes me sad.

Clean, decent employees, to many self check out lines. A little pricey for the area. Convenient location.

I had never been to or heard of Martin's before dropping in from out of state. I don't know if it is part of a chain or just on its own.I could have dinged them on product selection but I'm not their target demographic. What earned them 5 ⭐was the genuinely friendly and welcoming attitude of the staff. They were amazing. The cashier and bagger were cheerful and eager to help. Love this!Everyone deserves a bonus! 😇

They sell lab grown or meat glued meat! I bought almost $200 worth of meats and had to throw ALL of it away because it started falling apart by itself when i ran water on it to clean it and i could easily pull it apart with 1 hand! I would never buy meats from here again!

It's a bit of a smaller size store than other Martin's in the area, and you can find most everything that you need.

Bought chicken before the sale date — it had spoiled. Not good. I will go elsewhere.

It is a small town store and everyone who works there is local. They also do great giving opportunities to individuals with disabilities. I have been living in Berryville for well over a decade after transplanting from Northen Virginia. You want a big store that will have everything go to Costco. That is not the purpose of a small grocery store. That is not why people move and live here. Most people who have a problem with this store or the people who work there do not know small time, main street USA life. The store is significantly better from the previous two companies. The town loves the store and the folks that work there. It serves our needs very well thank you!

Very neat and clean store. Excellent selection of produce and products. Also has two separate electric car charging stations in parking lot **FREE** which is a HUGE plus for those of us with electric cars. This alone makes me choose to shop at Martin's over any other local grocery store.

This is the most absolute worst store, my family and I have been shopping here for a couple good years now ( if not longer ) and we can never find anything at this location that we're looking for. They upcharge everything, most recently, Martin's used to have their own brand whipping cream, and now it can't be found in the store and the sales associate kept pushing for me to buy a half gallon of Leigh Valley whipping cream for almost $9 , I'm going with no on that one, when I can still get it in other places with the stores brand for a lot cheaper. Also, the sales associates like to hide out in the little office and don't like to assist you at all. I will never do my major grocery shopping at this location, I really only ever go here for emergency resources and needs, I honestly suggest that others do the same.

Not happy with the Pharmacy. High turnover. People don't care what you need. Been on hold close to 10mins. to see if they needed additional information for my prescription. Yada, Yada.

Had a horrible experience today and honestly it's been a trend lately. A Sunday afternoon with a store loaded with customers at checkout, two of the four checkout lanes closed down suddenly. The self checkout lines had at least five customers in each line waiting. I should have recorded what was going on but I didn't think about it at the time. The optics didn't look good at all.As I'm standing in line waiting, I see no less than four employees, one manager and three associates, standing at customer service having conversations. Even if 5 o'clock is a shift change, management should work to make it a seamless transition instead of paying customers waiting far too long to pay for their groceries. A peak shopping day at a peak time should not have issues such as this. This has been getting worse and worse as employees are pushing customers into self checkout. These checkers better watch out that Martin's corp deems them surplus because of the self checkout lines.

Pathetic store. Some items always out of stock. Some friendly associates and a lot of rude ones. The customer service desk is a joke. Clarke County needs a different grocery store. I guess I will drive farther away for my groceries.

I see the store has not been here very long. On the whole I find the staff more than willing to help you. The selection is smaller but they have tried to pick the best products. I like the self-help checkout, especially for COVID.Where this falls down is people not being empowered to help the customer. I asked 3 times if an item could be stocked. I left my phone number 3 times and no one in the supervisory position it would require to investigate this ever got back to me.Policies, like having to show your actual drivers license to buy wine instead of a picture of your drivers license on your cell phone (which is obviously your license, since it looks like you. (I’m 62 with noticeably grey hair.)Staff is really nice but sometimes they all seem like they’re downtrodden. Not that this job is not thankless, I’m sure that it is.Store is convenient and it seems the customer people try, but I’m just not sure how great the management is here. Have had Martin’s experience only at this store.

This is a great store, friendly employees and its always clean. I will say today on my visit I picked up not 1 but 2 bottles of Coke Zero and both were covered in something I don't even want to think about. It was like a thick white lotion and totally grossed me out. The employees were super sweet, got me hand sanitizer and I grabbed paper towels i found in the meat area. Still gagging with the thought of it.

Rude customers to deal with, items placed where I couldn't even reach them and I am 5 10.5 ft tall like the propel water. You ask for help and they look and shrug their shoulders. It's frustrating because some of the workers are wonderful and will help while others act so rude and stuck up. It's the only grocery store in town as you have to go to Charles Town, Winchester, or Front Royal to find another one and their prices show that too but then again they are among the trend of bringing in that cold behavior and mood over here that's so popular towards the DC area. Shame too because again they have some good people working hard in there but it seems like quite a few are just rude in general and everything is so unorganized or not stocked when it comes to busy times.

always greeted when entering the store and willingness to help is always there. normally the lines are not very long and get in and out fairly quickly. always a great selection of the stuff I need for the kids. if your looking for any specialty items unfortunately you will need to go to winchester or leesburg.big shout out to the workers outside returning carts very rarely do i see carts outside of the cart corrals (I am very particular about my vehicle making sure that i park away from cart corals and other vehicles)
