Had 4 carry in tires mounted and balanced. Advertised at $11 a piece. Forgot the wheels they were being mounted on had tpms sensors, extra charge no big deal. Then there's a $60 charge, 15 a tire for "lifetime balance and rotation". On what? I didn't bring the vehicle in. Not to mention I sat around for over an hour while my tires were visibly done sitting in the bay. Was asked what I was waiting for several times, told oh I'll check on what's going on for you. Which obviously wasn't the case. The "service center" is joke. Not the first time I've had issues like this either, it will certainly be the last. A prior time I brought my old truck with some tires I ordered elsewhere. They were not going to install them as they didn't match the door sticker. Yet they were identical in size just of modern manufacture vs a size that hasn't been common since the 80s. Go else where if you want any level of competence.

My shopping cart was fully loaded with 16 gallon containers of pool chlorine liquid. I proceeded through the center checkout line, headed for the exit and was challenged by a door monitor, to check my receipt. I was fully visible to that monitor during the entire event. I was stunned and offended. She lacked probable cause that anything was awry. I said no and kept walking. Their corporate attitude needs adjustment.

Where are the so called "clearance prices?" The plants are basically dead. I ask a associate "where are clearance prices and why in the hell do they cover the names of the plants?" He said " another company comes in and does that with stickers, and most of plants will be thrown n trash."It goes to show that the high prices they put on those plants are just to drain the consumer, since all they do is just trash them when they die. *And look at the price on the basket with broken handle they had on clearance isle.

I was met by the same sour woman with red(?) hair looking me up and down as if I had half the store hidden inside my coat. Well tonight, I'd had enough and made a point to look her up and down, mimicking the disdain to such a degree that I could tell she did not appreciate my insolence, which made it all the more satisfying. What a stark contrast from the older woman who carries herself with such professionalism and I always offer up my receipt willingly because I appreciate her so much. She knows how to treat a paying customer. The funny thing is that same rude woman was able to see me ring my groceries up at the self checkout and she still made a point to make me feel like a thief. She has done this numerous times and I am sick of it.

1 star because 0 isn't an option, waited several hours for basic tire balance, the manager Eric was very very rude and didn't know anything He spoke very poorly of his employees and had a bad attitude the whole time. One lady had comeback while I was waiting because she noticed oil leaking from her car she had just gotten serviced that morning. Appearently a tech mangled the oil filter seal and her car was left with less than a quart of oil.

It's overall a typical Walmart supercenter. Good and bad staff. Sometimes they're quick and sometimes they're not. I don't always find what I'm looking for when I shop there. It is definitely a hit or miss but a necessary close by store that I go to very often. First off I will say the store its self sucks!!!! I find most of the cashiers extremely rude. However I am giving 5 stars because Cindy in the bakery is amazing. She made my wedding cake in June. So when I went in to order a cake for my daughters birthday, I was happy to see she was there. I couldn’t find a cake in the book that I imagined for the “two sweet onederland” theme I had picked for the party. So I told Cindy to just be creative and she really was! I even asked her to make a second smash cake since my daughter that was turning 2 didn’t have a party last year since I had just had my daughter that was turning 1 and she gladly obliged. I can not say enough good things about this woman! Anyone needing a cake should definitely see her. If she ever left Walmart they’d definitely be losing a valuable asset to their company!

I can ways find what I need. This Walmart is the only one with a hot bar that always has the wings I want ready. All the others be out or only have drums left bc someone else already got all the flats.

it’s a Walmart. As Walmarts go, this one is actually pretty nice and clean with a very decent selection of just about everything. It’s not where you would go for a really quick one or two item grab just because it’s so big, but is definitely the place to get your groceries and other home sundries.

I love this Walmart! I don't know who is in there training folks but it seems like every person in this Walmart is just so sweet and caring! Like, "Are you all TRAINED to be so caring"? I truly appreciate everyone here right down to management! There is a few people in here who just make my day every time I go there and they are working. Kaniyah is a young cashier who is one of them and I salute this young woman! She is a JOY at that place! I even called the manager and took a video of it! Thank you Bedford Walmart for making me believe in happy places to shop again! I drive all the way from Moneta JUST to shop here for groceries, and don't mind taking the trip!

Super Walmart in Roanoke Virginia at valley view. It is the absolute worst Walmart I have ever been in! Nothing was stopped as it was supposed to be, the staff could have cared less, and nobody wanted to take responsibility for any of the many things that were wrong

Always a friendly bunch of employees. The only complaint I had on this shopping trip is the many isles that were blocked off by huge pallets. A few less on the sales floor would have saved me a lot of time.

The store was real clean while we were there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The produce was fresher than I usually find in a Walmart. The location is also very convenient when your traveling.

Not bad for a rural Walmart. Good selection of produce and groceries on one side with your standard big-box store selections on the other. Employees were friendly and checkout was easy.

After 18 years of coming to this location I've never been stopped and asked for a receipt. Until recently, now some old sour woman with an attitude has stopped me and my family every time we come in. She's rude and nasty and I watch as everyone else walks by and she checks no one else. Somebody needs to calm her down. From now on my family and friends will go to Altavista.

I terms of Walmart this is one of the better ones in the general surrounding area. The employees are nice for the most part, the bathrooms are usually clean, things are usually stocked. However this Walmart is limited in some options available to purchase. Additionally I have noticed some issues with the expiration date on food items I have purchased so there is room for improvement in that area.

My wife and came in on 8/31/21. We got what we needed, and a nice young man helped..."Nathaniel" in the grocery dept. help me find what I was looking for. I think he was picking orders, but he said he was GLAD to help. This is the type of person that would make a great mgr. for Wal-mart. ThanksUpdate: 3/22/02....Got great service from, "Dillgin" in the Garden Center, I was in 3 days in a row buying mulch, and he helped all 3 times. Very polite, and asked if I needed help. So thanks for the great service and tell him thanks.Update: 5/26/22Came in to return the "Jif" Peanut Butter...and Joanne...was very nice and helpful, she did the refund fast and wanted to know if needed any other help. That is very nice of her, tell her Good Job! Thanks!Update 5/17/23Went in for some River Rock Stones...i parked my car next to them...told wife going in to pay....Virginia helped me at check out...very nice.Then I went back to my car and Walmart man was helping my wife....how Great is that....not only that it was....Chris....the Store Mgr. What a SUPER...thing to do for us....Thanks Chris...you made our Day!Update 12/27/23Came in for a few items in grocery...and I was looking for something...when...Matthew...came up and ask me if he could help. He showed me where the item was, and he was very nice.So thanks...I did hear the store mgr. Chris went to another store, he was also very nice. Thanks again Matthew....Keep up theGood work!Update 03/22/24Came in today and the mgr. Brandon helped me. He was really nice and helped us. Love this store. We got good deals, and the cashier, Carloyn was very nice and greeted us with a nice smile. Good customer service is hard to find, but this store does a great job, and it saves us a lot of $$$$. Sam Walton would be proud of these 2 nice associates. We will be back.Updated 05/01/24Came in around 7pm to get some Top Soil...I looked around and could not find someone in the Garden Center, Then I saw John in the Health and Beauty Aids, he said he would happy to check me out, what a nice man, and he figured out how to scan the bags and charged me the correct amount. So...Brandon..please give him my best...He said he has worked in retail for 45 years, and he knows how to treat customers perfectly...great store!

I enjoy shopping at this Walmart. The produce is almost always good with a large selection, and they keep a well-stocked inventory of practically anything else you need.I use their pharmacy as well, & while I am occasionally frustrated with a long pick-up line, it is because, for all new prescriptions, they require a brief consult with the pharmacist -- and that's a good thing. Frankly, it is the only pharmacy that I know of that does this, and for new scripts, too often people leave unclear as to whether medication needs to be taken with food or not; or, what side effects they should look for or expect. I respect Walmart's decision to do this, and an extra 5 minutes to your wait is more than worth such a relatively short amount of time.Finally, I find that the employees at this Walmart are consumer-oriented and more often than not will walk a customer directly to the product he or she is having difficulty finding.All that being said, it does NOT usually apply to their garden center. Here, the shopper is left to fend for themselves, too often leaving empty-handed because they couldn't find an item that the store SHOULD carry and be easily found.Problems in the garden center, however, do not keep me from rating this store highly. I find myself here for most grocery items, as well as household items, which they have in abundance!
