Most of the fruits and veggies are brown. Go look at the nectarines, moldy and mushy. Maryann has THE worst customer service in the store. There are a few others that are bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service skills as well (will update with their names later). Would rather stare at you self checkout than open up registers. There's a curly haired kid that stands at the front sometimes with his arms folded, not sure if you're trying to be intimidating to prevent shoplifters but you look silly. Maybe grab a register and help out, go grab carts, go though the produce and meats for spoiled and rotten products. Overall, I'd rather go to Safeway.

This has been my to go grocery store for the longest time but lately, we’ve been buying meat from this store and it’s going bad within a day or two of having it! Along with the broccoli, asparagus, etc. Now will be going to Walmart. It’s a waste of money!

Our Thanksgiving groceries from Food Lion in Bealeton:5 lb bag of onions looked fine until we cut them open to find out they are rotten. Good bye stuffing.5 lb bag of potatoes looked fine but in 2 days every potato was covered in fungus. Good bye mash potatoes.The produce "manager" should be sacked. They must get their produce from the dumpster behind Harris Teeter.Pro-tip: Skip the middleman and get it at HT.

I have shopped here for a couple of years for the convenience of being close to my house and only for certain specific things. They are way too expensive to do regular grocery shopping. Well, now they've discontinued everything I come here for... for what reason I don't know. There was also no notice... the items I need just suddenly disappeared from the shelves. Well now you've lost my $100 a month in business. Hope the discontinued products were worth it.

This is the beat grocery store even better then any Walmart and I’ll tell you why, I have a really bad back diabetic feet and more.These people go out of their way if you need any help, just ask they will go above and beyond for you.And I truly appreciate them!I cannot explain how much I appreciated the help with loading my car today after what I have been through this weekend and throwing my back out of place and my feet feeling just raw I can’t describe that pain.More photos and details will be posted and updated in time.Thank you

If you've ever been to a Food Lion, you know what to expect. If you're used to shopping at Harris Teeter or Wegmans, you're going to want to wait. Overall 3 for Food Lion. Monopolizing on that Bealeton grocery game! Congrats!

This location has gone downhill bad over the last two months. This is the third time I’ve had a cashier slam my food around. This time I lost $60 in groceries by the time I got home because the drinks he slammed around busted inside the box and ruined good groceries. Thanks a lot cashier Adam for wasting my hard earned money. I’ll be driving out of my way thirty minutes to avoid the terrible customer service from now on. My $1200 monthly will go to a properly run establishment.

It is well stocked and Glen the cashier was amazing. He greeted me as soon as he saw I was going to his cash register, very attentive, very polite. That man needs a raise. It’s horrible you have someone who is on their phone distracted doesn’t even great you, but Glen was great!

I waited longer than I have ever. Understand there were glitches, but not good when someone drove up after us and received hers immediately.Not good for me and my dog, nor for the gentleman who pulled in beside me. Still appreciate this service. Thank you.

Love the staff and products when they are available, seem to always be on the short end getting decent size snow crab and other seafood products. Also wish they would do a better job asking customers to wear masks when shopping....stocking staff too! They need to offer greater variety as some of their food lion products are tasteless when compared to other products. Need to bring back a lot of products that I used to buy weekly...now have to shop in Warrenton at other stores.

I’m glad they do grocery pick up now it makes things easier but what makes things harder is that they never have what you want in stock every time i place an order at least 5 or more items are out of stock. I’ve ordered at different times on different days too. Doesn’t seem like when your adding things to cart it says if it’s in stock or not, it would be great if you had a notification on the item that said “only a few left” or “small quantities available” some kind of warning that it might not be in stock so we could choose a different item instead of hoping we get something. Yes I know you can choose replacements but that only helps so much. Just seems like like they can’t keep up with demand. I do appreciate the patience of the shoppers that do the online orders though they’re always nice. Side note, its kind of ridiculous that my cousin lives farther than me and she gets delivery from you guys yet I live in the neighborhood across from you and can’t get delivery.

We went to buy alcohol and my daughter in law came to help me.We were at the self checkout register ready to pay. When the front end manager ( Maria B.)came over to ask for my daughter in law's ID when I was the one buying the Alcohol. She didn't want to accept my ID when I was the one purchasing it.We asked to speak to another manager but she never back with the other manager so we end up leaving. Maria was being rude and unprofessional.

I came in for 2 things of gatorades, case of water, 2 things of Popsicles, 2 things of brisk. When I get to the self checkout and scan 1 thing of Popsicles and employee runs over and stands inches behind me and stares me down while i scan the rest of my items. Not sure what made you think I was stealing but next time I'll just hand you my receipt to save you the paper from reprinting it. Though, next time I'm not going to be silent about it.

I'm a bit on the bougie side of life so I wish we had a larger grocery store chain for shopping but this Food Lion serves us well. I do wish they would open up the online grocery to delivery. Don't get me wrong I appreciate shopping online and then picking it up but a delivery option would be amazing.Staff is wonderful, stock is somewhat limited but that's been across the board for stores since the pandemic.My only gripe is the brown paper bags for pick up orders. I'm all for recycling but can we get a handle? I now use ikea bags to transport them from the car to the house. It's almost impossible to grab the bags and not have them break before you get to the door.

One of my favorite places to shop. While not a high-end Supermarket I still find a very good selection of food. Whether it's a fresh produce, Frozen, or Meats. The people there are always nice and helpful. I've come across some very delicious seedless grapes. That I have not seen in any other grocery store. You should try their version of butter almond ice cream. You will go back for more and more.

Everyime I go in I either get followed or stared down at the register as if I'm trying to steal something. I've heard others having the same issue. I'll be getting a friend of mine that works in the news media to do an investigative report on this place. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Been a customer of this store for some sixteen years now. Always great service and everything is stocked fully almost every time. I only say almost because of holiday or bad weather rushes. But that's nobody's fault and they can't plan for that.So, 4 out of 5: definitely recommend. I'd give a full five but I almost never give five stars.

This location is conveniently located, making it the main grocery store for the area. The store itself is laid out a little odd at first, but a few visits is all it takes to get used to it. Prices are cheap compared to Harris Teeter or Wegmans. The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. And the store stocks a decent variety of products and brands. If your in the area, do yourself a favor and go support your local grocery store.

I love the helpful staff. Everyone in this location seemed very respectful of the seriousness of COVID. Great selection of foods although they have not had strawberries the last few times. Food Lion brands are very competitive with some of major brands i have purchased.
