My horse was not sound when I brought him to Hensley Show Horses; he was also underweight, forward and extremely skittish. Arleen Hensley helped with all those issues. In addition, she patiently helped this new rider learn to ride well and with confidence. She was always courteous, patient and knowledgeable. My horse and I are very lucky to have found a home there!

This is what she does to people who call her out for not training their horse after two years of paying for full board/training on a horse she gave the okay to buy… friendly right.Not the first time and certainly not the last.

Paid for full board and training. My horse was stalled 24/7 and never saw the light of day. This trainer has charged others for similar “services” that she doesn’t provide. Make sure you do you research. Ask former clients/students and they will give you the full scope.

Awesome facility, clean to the nines, professional trainer for 50+ years. Multiple national and world champions under her belt. Lives on property checks horses and gives hay and water every night after their third meal before closing up. You won't find any better care or a nicer facility for the money any where .

Wow, we were blessed to find Hensley's, but especially blessed to find Arlene. She is a top notch trainer and always looks out for the safety and we'll being of her students. My daughter loves working with Arlene and from the first day of riding lessons immediately learned not only how to properly groom the horses that she was riding, but how to ensure the horse was following her commands. My daughter has come so far training here and loves her two days each week of training and riding.

My daughter loves Arlene, who gives the horseback riding lessons and teaches them properly from day 1, along with not leaving them at all guessing on any technique. Horses are athletes and she ensures they are well groomed, properly trained and the horse knows by your touch and proper guidance, same repetitions what they are to do.My daughter is looking forward to riding and increased lessons eventually, as she too prepares for horse shows.

I worked at Arlene’s for five years and I know the ins and out of how clean and how well she takes care of these horses, and how much time she dedicates to them and their owners. If I were to ever board my horses anywhere it would be here.
