This FL is my local grocery store but they have some of the least trained employees. I asked the guy in the meat department who informed me he didn't know how to cut steaks and the hot wing bar is usually old and empty.

Went in craving some specific goods and I found them... also found a version of one of my favorite snacks that was released a little while ago, but couldn't find it in my area in the Hampton Roads and I happened to find it at this location near my hometown at random so that made me really happy 😅This particular store location was clean, organized, not a lot products in the wrong areas on the shelves so it looks like the stockers have a good eye and make sure things are where they're supposed to be so that was nice too 😅

As Food Lions go this is a good one. They always have plenty of lines open even when expecting snow. The reason for the 3 stars is that they have an issue keeping up with fresh produce. To be honest this is a problem at most stores but I will never understand why stuff is put out with mold on it....

Be careful and check the dates in ANYTHING!There is always an issue with out of date merchandise at this store.

Very nice, clean and orderly store! The staff that works there are eager to help the customer find things and are quick to respond to messes and accidents! They have their produce displayed so that it looks very enticing! They keep their products stocked up and well before the expiration dates. I go there weekly and it's the best quality of Food Lion store I've ever shopped in. I highly recommend it!

The associates here are phenomenal. They are helpful and very kind and courteous. I feel like we just have all the nicest people here! Literally one day before the holidays after ringing up a pretty reasonable cart, my cart wouldn't scan.. and not one, but 3 employees hopped in offering to pay for my purchase! I was like what are you guys!? Angels!!? Lol. They are remarkable... And the fried chicken is amazing ;)

The Food Lion at Lake Anna VA is terrible. The locals have to go to the Food Lion in Louisa (10 miles away or Montpelier which is 28 miles away) in order to get a selection of products. The new grocery store coming to this area will put this Food Lion to shame.

I love this store. It's always clean (bathrooms included), I can count on being able to find my groceries, and the staff always goes above and beyond to help their customers. I love the fact that they have an option to have a store card and there are always new, weekly discounts. The managers are very personable and seem to genuinely care about keeping customers satisfied.

One of the cleanest, well layed-out, properly stocked Food Lion stores I have visited in a long time! Even had a staffed seafood counter! 🤯 Wish I lived closer; would shop here often. 😁

The store looked real nice. The employees were very curtious. My wife had just had surgery and was not able to lift heavy items. Three different employees helped with putting items in basket, unloading at register and putting items in our vehicle. Many thanks and much appreciation for them.

Being the only grocery store in the area it'd be nice to have a bit more selection of stuff, but the stuff they do carry they keep stocked pretty well. Friendly staff.

I use Instacart to save me time going to the store. The staff are very good at communicating changes or out of stock items. I never wait more than 2 hours to pick up my groceries!

For being the only grocery store in King William they do an excellent job of serving the community. Very busy place and all the workers try their best to accommodate the number of customers. This store also carries many items that you won't see at Walmart. The beer selection is awesome, produce is clean and stocked, meat selection is great. This store also gives back to the community. I'm a forever food lion shopper.

Clean and convenient . I personally have always thought the prices were too high. A comparison to Krogers shows me on most items the difference is significant. Your deli prices per pound are very nice. Most cashiers are friendly some throw the next customers items in your bagging area when you are in the middle of collecting your items.

I love it now that the remodel is almost done. They have added a larger selection of organic foods, which it's much appreciated. They've also expanded there international Ford section. A big improvement for a small town grocery store.

I gave it 4 stars for the following reasons: 1) it was renovated about a year ago; 2) It's clean and well maintained; enlarge deli and fresh fruit/veggie areas. Has a bakery too. I'm not a big fan of Food Lion but this one is better than most, especially for one in a shopping center (i.e. not a stand-alone store).

Always in the way stocking and yet they are never stocked. Always out of everything. You have to watch them carefully when being rung up. They advertise things on sale however they ring up full price. This happens way too often. Its the only store in King William so nobother options and they need to do better at keeping stocked and correcting their prices.

Not nearly the best store layout / size. They truly need to expand and take a page out of the playbook from the Bell Creek or Chamberlayne Shady Grove stores which have more square footage and wider isles. However I cannot discount how pleasant the employees and vendors are every time we visit! They keep us coming back even though the store itself is tight and constraining especially during peak times! If they were to expand like the Mechanicsville stores we might even shop here exclusively but not currently!

Has a great selection in produce (especially things already prepared). For the most part, the staff is nice. Large beer and wine selection (no hard liquor is sold at stores other than ABC liqour.

This location is my favorite in the area. Much better than the Tappahannock one. It's always clean and the shelves are organized nicely. Service is great. Try their chicken wings and mozzeralla sticks from the hot bar. Sooo good! 😍

They had run out of sweet potatoes. An associate told me that another truck with 50 boxes would be in the next day around 11. That was very nice of her.

Went the night before Thanksgiving.. WHEW. The employees were working their butts off stocking cleaning and almost every register was open. I was able to get my last minute items.
