We have always had dogs,mostly sporting dogs. We have tried training, usually through pet stores, without much success. Just recently we did something different and rescued a Dutch shepherd. We tried private training this time and went with Alpha Love Dog Training. Without a doubt, the best decision we could have made. They're knowledge of dog training and behavior is exceptional. Their facility is outstanding, so much so that we will also use them to board our dog. If you want to enjoy your dog at the next level, we highly recommend Alpha Love Dog Training.

My 9 month old standard poodle jumped all over every ONE who would walk through our door. After working with Amanda for just three weeks … wait for it. She didn’t!!! Today, I armed my lunch guests with kibble to broadcast all over the floor when Roxy jumped … she didn’t! She came into the room … and searched the floor for kibble. My guests were at ease and her person (me) was very proud.Amanda has not only helped us with name recognition, focus, place, stay, walking on a loose leash, but helped with our toy poodle who is at home with techniques to aid him with his separation anxiety.There aren’t enough positive expressions I can convey about our experience with Alpha Love Training!We aren’t finished and wanted to wait until we were done before I left a review, but after today’s victory, I had to share!Do yourself a favor and give her a call!

Alpha Love brings ALL the love to both training and boarding! I have used them as both my dog trainer and as a boarding facility and can highly recommend them for all of your canine needs. Amanda and Garrett treat my dog as if he were theirs, showing him all the love and respect they would give their own pets. They are great listeners and will tailor their training to YOUR dog and YOUR family's needs. They even incorporated our teenaged children into the lessons so the whole family took ownership of our dog's training journey. When it comes to boarding my dog, I look no further (and it's a 45-minute drive for me). Other kennels left my dog limping, scratching or coughing and I certainly never received an update on their well being. If you are wise enough to board your dog with Alpha Love then you will quickly see how well they treat their visitors and how frequently you will get photos and videos of your pet "vacationing" at their facility. Having worked with Alpha Love for many, many years, I can confidently say that you will not find a better option for practical, effective training or safe, caring boarding.

Our Vet recommended Alpha Love Dog to help us with our 5 yr old dog’s latest anxieties, including separation anxiety.We were so impressed with Amanda as we discussed Maxx’s issue and symptoms over the phone, that we immediately signed up for 4 private lessons.Just after ONE lesson of her suggestions, Maxx’s anxieties started to melt away!! What a huge difference.As we progressed with the lessons, Amanda taught us on how to develop a more confident pup!We now have our happy go lucky pup back again !Thank you Amanda!We won’t go anywhere else. When in need, we now know where to go to get the proper training WE need to be better dog parents!!

Amanda and Garrett have been great with our high strung, fairly anxious and high energy GSP, and with helping us continue her training. It's so rewarding having her respond correctly to our commands. We've done both board & train and private lessons. Kona is so much better behaved than before, and I have a much better handle on how my behavior reinforces better outcomes. Each time we train with them we learn more about how to work with her to get the best from her.

Amanda has been a miracle worker with our fur baby! Our pup was an adult rescue with a number of behavioral issues (poor socialization with dogs and humans, fear, etc), and we were worried that we would never be able to leave him with anyone. Since the first time we went to Alpha Love, Amanda has been amazing with him. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and creative in her work, and we have seen a completely different dog since he has boarded and trained there. There is no one that we trust more with our pup, and he absolutely adores her.

I have been a loyal customer for over 8 years! Amanda (and now Garrett too) treats our dogs the way we would at home. Every time I leave them I know they are safe, treated with love, and having fun in her home with a virtual dog park of a beautiful yard. I can't imagine leaving my dogs at an institutional dog boarding facility; they would be so confused and scared with cages and barking... I receive photo and video updates and believe she knows my dogs' personalities because she spends time getting to know each of them (I have 5). On a personal note, I consider Amanda a friend and have really enjoyed getting to know her over the years. Nothing like the peace of mind leaving your pets with a friend. Highly recommended.

We found Miss Amanda by chance one day through word of mouth! She has since been a total blessing to our family and four legged baby! My boyfriend and I became parents to Belle, a German Shepard, in July when Belle was 11 weeks old! Amanda has been working with us since Belle was 12 weeks! We were taught the basics, plus how to behave in public as well as with other animals! We recommend alpha dog training whenever we can! Amanda is also the only person we will trust when we go out of town! She loves and treats your dog like you love him/her and that to us is worth it all!

My husband and I highly recommend Alpha Love Dog Training! We had some really difficult times with our 2yr old dog, Lucky. Thank Goodness for people like Amanda. Approximately 7 weeks ago Iadopted/rescued a Sweet 6 mth old German Shepherd puppy from a home where there was Domestic Abuse, I don't know if he was abused. I Pray Not.She was recommended to me, as I wanted him to be well trained and feel Loved in his new home. I found her website, and was so impressed with her wording, as it showed her Love for Animals.She has been so Patient and Loving, with my Mojo, albeit, he is not a treat driven dog and Dare I say, can be extremely laid back at times. She has worked with his quirks and adjusts her training accordingly. Amanda is an amazing dog lover and trainer! She has helped us so much with our little mini-shnauzer who has some aggressive/bossy tendencies and who we hadn't done a great job of socializing. We've had a few training sessions with her that have made a huge difference. We've also now boarded our fur baby with Amanda twice, and he adores her and loves going to doggy camp in the woods. It's always hard to leave him when we go out of town and can't take him, but Amanda's emails and texts with photos and videos let me know he's having a blast (way more fun than his daily routine with us). It's also great to know that he's getting well supervised socialization and his training is getting reinforced. I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough for training and boarding!! I drive over 30 minutes each way, and it is more than worth it.

Five stars doesn't do Alpha Love Dog training justice! From stellar customer service, reasonable rates, and top-notch pet care, they have offer it all. My personal favorite is how involved they are with our dogs. We love the pictures and videos that keep us connected while away. We've boarded our dogs there for a number of years and can't begin to describe the care that our dogs have received.

Amanda is absolutely fantastic!!! She is a true dog lover and when your pet is with her you can relax knowing your fur baby is getting both the care and affectionate fun he or she needs. I was concerned about my little guys being around other dogs because i did not know how they would respond. During their weekend visit, i received numerous pictures and videos from Amanda showing them playing with other dogs and even sharing their favorite bed with their new furry friends. It was obvious she was spending quality time with the dogs all day. They even learned some new manners which is a big benefit of boarding your dog with a highly experienced and qualified dog trainer. I'm extremely happy that i chose Amanda to watch my pets and i know you will be too.

For the past year, Amanda has been our extremely spoiled & separation anxiety prone labradoodle's home away from home when we travel. I feel that she & Nemo have bonded & that he truly enjoys his stays with her. He can exercise off leash like he does at home, interact with other dogs, & play with her human friends. Amanda is amazing. I adopted my two doggies in September. Anna is 3 and was traumatized. She wouldn't leave her safe place (the couch) for any reason. Not to eat or drink or go outside. I had to carry her. She was terrified of everything, especially people and didn't know how to play with me or dogs. Miss Chloe is 2 and was an owner surrender because she kept getting out and getting hurt. I naively believed the humane society when they told me they were house trained and leash trained. These were requirements for me because I had no experience training dogs. 4 wks after adopting them I was at the end of my rope and ready to return both of them. My house was trashed, they were wild and I was crazy... in a panic I found Amanda. She worked with me and the girls every week. She built my confidence by showing me how to communicate with them and understand their needs. We worked on building Anna's confidence and helped Chloe make better choices. It's amazing the difference after 12 wks. They are house trained, leash trained, play together and with other dogs. Anna is like every other dog, excited to meet me at the door and go to the dog park to play with the big dogs. And Chloe has learned to look to me for direction and usually makes the right choice. They love going to Amanda camp when I'm out of town. I've recommended Alpha Love Dog Training to several friends already. Thank you Amanda for showing me how to be a good doggie mom. 🐶🐶

My love of Alpha Love Dog Training started when I was looking for a sitter for my pup Kairos over 2 years ago. From her profile, you can tell how much Amanda loves dogs and how attentive she is. I live well over 30 minutes away from her, but still utilize her service because she's THAT good. Kairos loves the time that he has running around with her dogs and running in the big open space she has. Whenever I pick Kairos up, he is always more well-behaved and always a tired pup. What's even better is that I get emails every day with pictures of Kairos playing with her pups and just lounging about. I trust her completely with the care of my pup! I highly recommend her!!!

We were a little skeptical of how positive training would go with treats. But holy cow just two days of their training changed our dog's life for the better.
