Rockhouse has been around for awhile, but could definitely use a modern day update. The staff is great and helps out when you need them too. I give them 4 stars because they do help out people who have been going there for a long time. The food is alright, not a lot of healthy choices though.. but for a country store, the hamburger steak is a must! The owner however.. Rust seems to be a hard man to get a hold of when there is an issue, almost like trying to get a hold of Donald Trump or something.

Need access to speak to the owner, when asked for their number,"oh he never answered"When asked what time of the day is he here,"answer is we never know"But yet I've been recommended to talk to the owner.I know who used to own it, and I know the name of the person who owns it now by first name only, after tomorrow 25 years my business will be lost.Professionalism begins with your first and last name not quoted post the owner.

I stopped by there today, I'm actually still sitting in their parking lot, eating a cheeseburger that I ordered from here. My God!!!! This has to be one of the best cheeseburgers I've eaten....ya know, as far as like the mom and pop style burgers go. Delicious!!! I've stopped by several times to get a quick bite to eat, normally a hot dog and a burger(I'm never disappointed), but they have a big menu of stuff you can get to eat from their kitchen. I will definitely stop by more often and check out other menu items. My experience with the staff has always been pleasant, they all seem quite friendly. Also their prices arent bad, pretty reasonable. Overall cool place

Great food if you are on the run. Local owner business that's been there for years and many more to come. I been going there since I was a child and the food quality has never change. It gets better but it never gets worse . Once again if you are traveling or on the run it is like bar food and for the price I say it is delicious when you look at the price the freshness because everything is made to order .

My wife went in there this morning for a breakfast sandwich and the woman that was fixing it coughed all on her hands and than proceeded to fix her food without washing her hands or nothing. They need to make the cooks wear gloves and hair nets

The food is most of the time good they have competitive gas prices and it depends on which lady is wrkin as to whether or not the employees are nice n friendly there's one or two that REALLY NEED TO WORK ON THEIR PPL SKILLS!!!

99 cent chilidogs and a variety of glass cokes makes for a great atmosphere. I enjoy stopping in when I can.I will say that the last time I was in there (05/20/18) there was an older lady working who was a bit rude to me and also to the older black gentleman behind me in line... maybe just a bad day for her.

I have made several trip to this place and they will leave out items that goes with the order. I have made several trips and they are out of items to fill a order. I don't know who order the supplies but they need to give it to another person. I try to support a local store and this is the thanks I get. I had to drive to Eden NC to McDonald to get my order filled. I wish that someone would open a store in the Axton area with a grill so you would have a choice.
