Most always has what I need with competitive pricing. Melvin and his team are quick to help out. Open 1/2 day on Sundays which was awesome when your water has frozen and busted or you need propane. Hats off to these guys

The guy that runs this place has no customer service skills at all. And to add to that he's a real dik. Yeah they got some hardware supplies but I would drive 40 miles to any other hardware store before I would drive across the street and spend my hard earned money at Thweatts.

I live locally, and was working on a project where I ran out of self-tapping, 1.25" screws with a 1/4" hex head.Since I was working on something else, I sent the EXACT 1.25" self-tapping screw with a 1/4" hex head with my spouse, asking her to stop by Thweatt's to get me at least another 25 count of same-same, with matching wall anchors.She returned with what the "guy behind the counter" provided her: tiny little Phillip's head, non-tapping screws.I was still occupied with work, so asked her to go back a couple of days later---- again with the EXACT 1.25" self-tapping screw with a 1/4" hex head that I needed.This time they provided her with a 1" self-tapping screw with a 3/16" hex head.Not a huge deal, but I'm not sure what to think about a hardware store that was unable to do any better than this, given 2 separate opportunities...... (?)

I've never had such hospitable service from both Twheatt and Boyd.I stopped in to purchase the steel to make a T bar to pull our in ground well pump with. The owner offered me to borrow his even being from a different City and County.I'll drive the extra time to give Twheats my business. Thank you so much.

Every time I go to a big box hardware store, I can't find any knowledgeable or helpful employees. They all seem to run and hide. Thweatt's gets you exactly what you need, at a good price, and back out the door. Great advice, and great service. Gained a customer for life! :)

You might not have given this establishment a chance yet and I will say it is your loss I'm starting to love this place there's nothing that they don't have in stock and the owner has been a repairman for decades and knows all kinds of crazy stuff try to stump him I do lol...it's the only place where you can set and get that old general store vibe oh and also I fill all my propane tanks here seriously everything

It looks closed and since it was a Sunday, no way that I can tell you for sure that they are open ever.Surrounding buildings are empty and abandoned, so if open, it's the only place in this little spot of dead buildings that is...Idk,...Check it out on a weekday, good luck on this one...
